As I'm rarely brave enough to order a cocktail in a dive bar, I can't say if those are any good, but they have a list... We didn't eat & I can't say that I'd feel inclined to. Tried Hilltop Pizza tonight for the first time. Although not "blown away" by the pizza - a large onion and bacon - my friend and I thought it was pretty good. We didn't know about the Tuesday night special pricing, which is a very good deal! The pizza, as I said, was quite good but was very light on the sauce and definitely could have used more cheese. The staff was polite and friendly but somewhat on the slow side... a 35 minute wait from placing our order to receiving it. So... overall, not bad at all. But not the best I've ever had. The pizza was topped with plenty of thick tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni, hamburg, baked ham cubes, fresh mushroom slices, green peppers and onions. The pizza here was enjoyable and really great tasting! My lucky coworker lives only spitting distance from Hill Top Pizzeria and he can walk through the woods to pick up dinner. I can't speak for the pizza, but you can't beat the nachos with hamburger anywhere nearby. They are put on a pizza pan (which is a genius idea) and they're loaded with veggies and cheese. Great local spot. Antipasto and subs are great. Excellent chicken! Hand tossed pizza is excellent. If you get their House Special filled with meats and veggies it is so big it feels like 5 lbs in your hands! We recently moved to the area and have ordered food multiple times and it is ALWAYS wrong! It happened so many times that when picking up orders, we had to check every item to make sure we were getting what we ordered. Then On top of that I buy a small french fry they throw in a bag so all the grease turns the French fries to mush. Today is Tuesday & one of their specials being a small cheese pizza for $5.00. Well, I got there & that was not the price that rang up. I said, hang on, this is the 5.00 special (Remind you, I've been getting this for years), so I said something to the new employee. He said "Oh, when you ordered you did not tell me you wanted the "Pan" pizza, this is a "hand toss". Well, for starters the special did not say you had to have a pan pizza. Unless I am loosing it, if you order the special, then you should get the special. I believe this is a way to get people to pay more for something. Well, the joke was on him. I walked out and did not pay for the pizza cuz I left it there on the counter. So now not only did they loose my 5.00 that I was willing to pay but now they have a small hand toss cheese pizza that went into the dump. (Hopefully not sold to someone else) Hopefully next time when this employee answers the phone he should ask if they wanted a pan pizza or hand toss. Hilltop has utterly fantastic food for the type of business it is, and its location. And while the owners are great and some of the female staff, there are a few issues they could afford to work on. The first being that I've ordered delivery from them many many times, and about 1 out of 2 deliveries, normally has the wrong or a missing item altogether. They will send their delivery driver back to get it, but by the time you get it back, which can take a while, it's pretty much pointless. The other is that it seems that no matter what time of day I call to place an order (now for pick up after learning my lesson from poor delivery service) they always seem to put you on rather long holds. I'm sure they're busy, but they certainly need to figure out a more efficient phone system. And sometimes there are issues with the food being a little soggy from the items they use for packaging food after its cooked, while not an issue with their food, it's a matter they do have some control over as they could benefit from better products that reduce the condensation that builds up with the meals that are in styrofoam boxes. Other than those two things, the place is fantastic. I always see people picking up their orders too when I go in, so I know they're busy and the staff are friendly, clean and normally attentive. It's nice being able to see the open kitchen as well from the counter, as it hides to big "mysteries" towards the conditions of the kitchen. There is a bar next door to it, but frankly I'm not a fan of bars so I've never gone it. Seems to be mainly geared towards blue collar working class folk who want a slighter cleaner "small town bar" to head to. They normally have karaoke or music playing as well, and it never seems to be too packed at all from first glance. We have ordered from here a few times as it's the only place that will deliver to us. The first time we ordered pepperoni, there was maybe 2-3 pieces per slice on a large pizza. Since, we have ordered extra pepperoni and now we are lucky to receive 4 per slice, usually less. Unfortunately, the pizza is incredibly greasy. I take a napkin and dab off the excess grease and it's off putting. The crust is usually crispy however. When I reheat the pizza, I pop it in the oven and that helps with the crispness and the oiliness. The portions were ok and the price was average Cons: Phone was busy several times, the parking sucks, there is a lounge connected to it which is loud and a bit smokey, I ordered two subs a meatball with nothing on it and a chicken parm with nothing on it. They gave me two meatball subs even though I heard them talking about the chicken parm they just f'ed it up. Overall: this rating could go up or down. Excellent all around! Hill Top Pizzeria makes some of the best pizza we've ever had. Not overly greasy, yummy crust that is obviously fresh, and they don't skimp on toppings. They have a menu full of other options as well, if pizza isn't your thing. Subs, pasta, and even a kids menu! Yes, a kids menu. The restaurant itself was clean and bright, with arcade games and a flat screen tv. Staff was friendly and warm. I can't recommend this place enough! Go check it out for yourself. read more

Visited on Sunday September 30th. Walked in around 3pm and we were the only ones there. My fiance and I have been there before, and previous visits were decent. Went to sit down and noticed how dirty the floor and several booth were (food crumbs, dirt, old napkins). Ordered two beers after a short wait (again, only two people in the place), the beer was cold but was poured in warm glasses, which soon made it warm as well. I ordered a small Mexican pizza and my fiance ordered a steak and cheese sub. When the food finally came, it was low quality. The pizza had minimal flavor and there was almost no sauce (typically re-fried beans or salsa). Her steak and cheese was marginal. The meat tasted like boxed Steam-Ems from the store, and definitely was not fresh shaved steak. When we finally received our check, it was definitely priced for premium food, not what we received. In short, sadly, we will not be returning anytime soon. Service and food quality has gone downhill hard. I hope it turns around. read more

The local pizza place my family and I usually go to, Jacks Pizza in Pittsfield, was closed due to heat, so we decided to try out the other pizzeria, Hilltop. The employees were quick to take our order and gave us an estimate of 25 minutes. I arrived twenty five minutes later to be told it'd be a couple of minutes before it was ready, which was fine by me... until I looked at the clock and realized I had been waiting in the restaurant for an extra twenty minutes before they brought out the order. Upon getting home, we saw that our pizza, a bacon pizza with extra cheese, barely had any bacon on it, and was covered in a pool of grease, which had seeped into the bottom of the box. There was also VERY little to no sauce on the pizza, which when you're spending twenty dollars on a single piece of food, a restaurant should not be stingy on. All in all, worst pizza we've had, as we could've gotten a Digiorno's, for a little less than half the price, might I add. and have been more satisfied. read more

We recently started going here and absolutely love the food! They have THE BEST buffalo chicken tenders! And the pizza is really yummy! The crust is excellent and they don't go light on the toppings. My only complaint would be the price. We purchased a large "the works" pizza (I believe 20"), a small (10") bacon pizza and a large buffalo chicken tenders which was 9 tenders and 2 containers of blue cheese and it was $50! The girl behind the counter clearly hates her life and did not attempt to hid that fact while taking our simple order with as much attitude as possible. Then, after an excessive wait we got two sloppily thrown together pizzas. They had horrible proportions and lacked red sauce, which was never mentioned, but I sort of figured that was a given on a pizza. I would avoid this restaurant at all cost. Last night I ordered an Italian sub and after a few bites determined that it had severely spoiled salami in it. When I contacted the restaurant concerning this their only response was thank you for letting us know. After posting to social media my experience I found that a friend of mine had eaten their 10 days earlier and had also had spoiled salami on her Italian sub.
