Came here for breakfast and the food was decent. It was not as good as it could have been. If I could've given it 3.5 stars that would be the actual rating. There was no sausage in the sausage biscuits and gravy. I mean no sausage there were a little specs in the gravy. The ham steak was good but it was extremely salty. The biscuits were amazing. The ambience is very cute. It's stereotypical hillbilly mountain decor lol it's nice to go to while you're there it fits the environment of hillbilly chic. The weight staff was great. The young African-American lady in the front. I don't know her name who is the hostess was absolutely delightful. The breakfast buffet was not the best either. They had French toast sticks that you buy at the grocery store as the French toast on the buffet. If they put a little bit more attention into the food, this place would be great. read more

Our Airbnb was nearby, and we stopped here for a quick meal before our flight, with only three hours to spare. The restaurant was very nice inside, and the service was friendly. However, it took nearly an hour for us to get our food, which was challenging with two hungry kids in tow. After about 45 minutes, we were finally told the food was on its way. The food itself was decent, though nothing exceptional. A fun touch was leaving a dollar bill on the old car inside the restaurant, which the kids enjoyed. They serve other meals but we visited in the AM after driving a scenic loop. They sell shirts. We came on a Saturday expecting it to be busy but this was very slow. Most of our group of five got the buffet of hard French toast sticks, biscuits and gravy and basic breakfast meats. The only fruit was fried apple type compote. The other two of us waited 40 minutes for our eggs and bacon and biscuits and gravy that came cold. I am not sure why this is rated so high. The biscuits were good but the gravy had chopped up preformed sausage in it instead of fresh sausage which ruined it. We weren't offered coffee or drink refills ever. It was more akin to a continental breakfast and a low end hotel. Everything on the buffet looked like it was straight off the frozen food truck. And for $14.99 for the buffet, I'd expect a lot better. I feel sorry for city folk who have never had a good southern breakfast and are being tricked into thinking that's what they are getting at a place call "Hillbilly." There was a pickup truck in the middle of the restaurant where everyone signed their names. The employee who greeted us had us laughing whenever we were waiting to be seated. We ate here while visiting for the Jeep Invasion. While we've visited the area many times, this was our first time stopping in. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our server arrived quickly as well.
