    Coffee

Coffee was piping hot, thank you. There is nothing I hate more than room temp coffee. We had the breakfast tacos and the American breakfast. The tacos were very flavorful and fresh. The biscuit and the bacon were so good. Overall this place was really homie and cute. Good customer service always makes for a good time.

Killer Creole Omelette with Cheesy Grits and Bacon

Wow what a great find! First time in the restaurant but so glad I stopped in! Wonderful breakfast menu with lots of choices from Benedict's to omelettes to traditional pancakes and eggs. If you like Cajun or Creole food the Killer Creole Omelette is to die for as it tastes like you are sitting at a restaurant in New Orleans! The Gulf Shrimp and Tasso Ham with a bit of Benedict sauce drizzled on top make this a treasure. And the waitress Samantha was so nice and friendly and great with the recommendation. So glad I took a chance in this omelette as I'll definitely remember to order it again if I get a chance. Highly recommend!

We stopped in for breakfast and it was great! Our waitress was nice and the inside was clean and comfortable. We would come back here anytime for a meal!

Stuffed French toast (fantastic and I don't usually order a sweet breakfast item)

This is my new favorite place! You must try this place! I sampled all the meals and they were all great! Traditional eggs benny, mountain chick, stuffed French toast sliders, bananas in pajamas.

Crab cakes Benedict is flavorful and a huge portion

LOVE this hidden gem! The beignets are amazing as are the crab cakes Benedict! Flavorful and huge portions. Our server, Alexis was polite, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome. The restaurant is very clean with a casual feel. The outdoor patio is a must try too. If you're looking for an upscale meal with options not found at all the other breakfast joints, then this is the place!

Avocado Toast, Cheese shrimp and grits

The food is amazing!!!! One of the best breakfast places i've ever been to. Great savory selections. Ask for your grits with cheese, you won't regret it. Shrimp and grits is enough to share between two people as well. Big portions. Thank you to our amazing server, Katie, for the great service and suggestions for local activities! Definitely will be back.

From reviews & photos I was excited to give them a try. So glad we chose to eat our last meal from here. Kim greeted us upon walking through the door and waited on us too. She has such a delightful disposition., southern charm and so helpful. We genuinely felt so welcomed! It's a vibrant breakfast atmosphere with clever wall art and TVs lining all four walls. They have bar seating too. The menu has a mix of traditional breakfast, southern Cajun & Creole style flavors. I was amped for the Bayou Green Tomatoes and Crab Cake Benny. Kim recommended getting the bayou sauce on the side which allowed me to have with both dishes. My tastebuds were so happy! It was Exceptional flavors, well done cakes and the bayou sauce contained shrimp, peppers and onion which complimented everything. The bacon and poached eggs on my cakes were exactly to my liking. My mom's S.B.C. Omelette (no bacon; add mushrooms) was perfectly fluffy, seasoned. I loved this food so much I asked Kim to tell them we needed a franchise at home!

Really great spot for breakfast. Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Bloody Mary connoisseurs dream. You can build your own! They also offer flights of mimosas.

Wow....can I stop there... maybe not. We chose this place for breakfast because it didn't seem like the average pancake place. We made a great choice. The coffee was strong and hot which hit the spot I got the breakfast tacos, fried wonton filled with chorizo, cheese and some other levels of sunshine. Then a side of cheese grits that were creamy and hot. Service by Alexis M was on point. If you are not looking for the usual flapjack experience this is your destination.

Ooooof ..coffee is strong here! I had to add a ton of creamers but, it was great brew of coffee. And OMG ... great farmers benny. Look at my pic and see that perfect egg. They caramelized the veggies and it worked ..it just worked. My husband was adventurous and got the breakfast tacos, I was proud of him. He loved them. And you got to try their cheesy grits and add a few dabs of their homemade hot sauce. This was a great pick for us and we'll come back whenever we're back in this area. Super clean and friendly staff.

What a gem! A cute diner serving up fantastic food. Foodies, you need to check this place out! The Bloody Mary checklist will satisfy the pickiest of picky. Our server was super cute and very attentive. This will be our new go-to for our annual Pigeon Forge trip!!

Great chill atmosphere here. Service was fast and on point. Nicely decorated. I had the American Breakfast with toast instead of a biscuit. I like my bacon cooked a bit more, but it had good flavor. I like it more well done. My wife had the breakfast tacos which she enjoyed. I did not try them. A friend had the avocado toast with an egg on it and said that it was good. Another had the cobb salad and loved it. All in all, a good breakfast experience.

With so many wonderful options in the Pigeon Forge area to choose for breakfast we are super happy we chose Brick and Spoon! The variety of options on the menu allows everyone to enjoy their favorite foods for breakfast or brunch! We had a wonderful server unfortunately I missed her name that was very knowledgeable of the menu and punctual with service.

And then I looked again, hoping that maybe something low-calorie or nutrient-dense was hiding and I just needed to look harder. Nope. But if you're looking for a sandwich that consists of chicken tenders between two glazed donuts, then this is your place. Sawyer's has other things that are not so county-fair forward. They are known for breakfast: French toast, pancakes, omelettes. If you get pancakes or waffles or the like, you should definitely ask for their house-made peanut butter syrup. It's amazing and so unlike anything that I've ever tasted. I got an omelette, which was good and had a lot of stuff in it. They will give you hot sauce upon request, which I was grateful for because I thought the omelette needed it. One thing that's really cool about Sawyer's is that they seem to take food allergies very seriously. That's always nice to see! As you're entering or exiting, make sure to admire the decor. It looks like you're in a barn, and as you exit, there's a gift shop with stuffed animals, t-shirts and other things to commemorate your visit to Sawyer's. This is a fun little place that's great for families, for sure.

I ordered the traditional schnitzel (pork cutlet that was pounded thin). It was not breaded, but it was coated with egg and flour and prepared well. I had the German potato salad and red cabbage side orders. Both were served warm as is custom. I was a bit upset that the waiter gave me the bill when the meal was finished. I told him it was my birthday and that I had wanted coffee and cake. He took the bill and crumpled it in his hand. The portion of cake that he presented could have easily served three! I left the top frosting. The chocolate cake was moist and the frosting between the layers was German chocolate. Available seating offerings were a booth, table, or a table al fresco. It had the beer garden appeal. I opted to sit inside. The restaurant is also very family oriented (as are most things in Pigeon Forge). Prices were reasonable, food was served at the correct temperature, portions were prodigious. The venue was also immaculate. I would recommend this tavern to anyone who appreciates German fare.
