Close to our hotel so check it out for breakfast. Decor was sparse, one big empty room crammed with as many tables as possible with uncomfortable metal chairs that I noted half the guests are not sitting comfortably in. Service was good in other people's sections but not ours. Server seems confused, didn't know the menu, never checked back on us or offered any coffee refills. Food itself was blah, to be honest the breakfast potatoes and biscuits were better at my hotel buffet. We have eaten here about 6 times at all different times but after today, we won't be going back. Food: we ordered 1 Traditional Benedict w/Grits & 1 Blackened Shrimp Po Boy with 2 teas to drink. It was 12:00 & dining room was mostly empty. The Benedict sauce tasted like melted margarine & was pretty thick too. One of my eggs was totally boiled, meaning no runny yellow. The other egg was just barely runny. The Canadian Bacon was NOT real. It was some sort of sliced & spiced luncheon meat that tasted horrible. I asked the waitress for some butter for my grits, and she said "more butter?", as if it was fine the way it came, and what is wrong with me:-( The shrimp on the Po Boy was NOT Blackened. No spices what-so-ever. The french fries that came with it, were the best part of that meal:-( Our waitress, Becca M, avoided eye contact with us the entire time we ate, and remember, the place was over half empty. Once we were finished eating, she came over, after waiving her down, and asked how our meal was. We reported to her the unsatisfactory meal but we ate it because we were on a quick break from work & needed to hurry. We did not have time for a 2nd breakfast to be cooked. She picked up the bill & asked us to wait a minute. She returned after a while & told us she removed the charges for the two iced teas! So, we paid $35. for two people to have a crummy meal while on a quick break from work. FINALLY - we are so sick of those horrible metal chairs in the dining room. They hurt most people's outer legs/hips & do not encourage a customer to relax & be comfortable. In the past, the food was so good, we would just over look the chairs, but after today's horrible food & the lack of anyone caring about our visit, we won't be using our hard earned money to eat crummy food & be uncomfortable. FYI: after removal of our iced tea, our meal was $29.90, we did include a $5.00 tip. read more

If you like Cajun or Creole food the Killer Creole Omelette is to die for as it tastes like you are sitting at a restaurant in New Orleans! Whenever my wife and I visit Pigeon Forge, we try to eat at Brick & Spoon for brunch because it never fails to be just what we are in the mood for. A few weeks ago, we stopped in and ate. My wife had her usual shrimp and grits. I am not a grit fan, but I did help her with these because they are pretty good. Don't get me started on how good the shrimp is. I had the killer creole omelet and breakfast potatoes. That is some darn tasty stuff. We both had a bloody Mary as well as water. Our server was very attentive even with how busy the place was. My one grump with the restaurant is a minor one. The chairs at the tables are not very comfortable, but they are stylish. Brick & Spoon is a must visit in my opinion. Try it for yourself. read more

A mixture of zucchini, yellow squash, onions and mushrooms sat on top of a split English muffin and then topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise which is made in house. It was served piping hot and was incredible! I was only able to eat half of it. The grits were thick and contained pieces of corn. The only thing I added to them was a bit of butter. In Pigeon Forge for Christmas break and was going to visit Sawyer's which is our normal spot for breakfast but the wait was 45 minutes. Hopped in Yelp and found this place, saw the photos and since we live trying new places, we hopped back in the car and took off. I joined the waitlist which is a huge perk! Crunchy shells, hot egg and sausage filling (a bit more sausage would be nice) with sweet mango salsa. It also came with a large order of potatoes...hot and properly salted!
