I dont ever like to call anyone out but I feel like for this, I had too. Do NOT take your car to…read moreCaliber Collision in North St. Paul. Took my car there for repairs due to a rear bumper fender and when I went to pick up the car at the end of the day, saw that the repairs were poorly done. The left side of the bumper still had very bad orange peel and was held on by a zip tie and it was sticking out like crazy because the retainer was missing. I told Ashley about it and she says, "you dont have proof of the retainer so we wont fix it." Shocked, i said, "no, the car came in with the bumpers flushed, and the retainer is a hard part, how can it be missing?" She proceed to disagree and says they will rebuff the car but not replace the retainer. She goes inside then comes out minutes later and apologies and said picture did showed the retainer was there and to come back tomorrow so i said ok and asked her to send me copy of pictures and left since they were closing. Never recieves pictures and i go back next day, they took my car to rebuff then Ashley starts arguing again that she saw the wrong thing (it was the second portion retainer) and wont replace the 1st half of the retainer and so we looked at the pictures. She said they only worked on right side of car so they didnt take pictures of the left side (highly suspicious) and i said, "the bumper is one piece, how could you not take pictures of that side? How do i know if you didnt delete the pictures? Of the 2nd half of the retainer is there, how could the 1st half be missing?" ‍Then i said, the picture shows the bumper was very flushed when it came in, and the holes from my pictures for the retainer obviously shows that it was forced yanked out? she said again that i had no proof. I then demanded to speak to the manager and who comes over and instead of trying to ask how he can help me, he tries to argue with me, too! So i said, "This is how you guys complete cars? You give it to your customers with paint still orange peel, zip ties to bumpers and missng parts?" He looks at Ashley and asks what is orange peel and says zip ties are strong ‍ then he says the shop will get the retainer only because its cheap. I said, "no, youre replacing it because ya broke it. Just because my car is older doesn't mean i dont love it" Then i get my car back and the paint still looks horrible and now i had to send my car back again for the parts to be replaced. Look at the last pix of the retainer replaced after they replaced it. Its now flushed and the zip tie is gone, they were able to put a screw there. ‍‍‍‍‍ Please do not take your car to this lazy, unprofessional, and unskillful shop, especialy do not work with Ashley and the manager who doesnt know jack shit and always check their work before you leave. Word of advice to NSTP caliber, next time check your technicians shitty work before trying to argue with a customer. I will probably end up having the insurance have the car repaired at another shop. Worse experience ever. Address: 2501 Division St N, North St Paul, MN 55109

One of the best customer service experiences I have received thus far:…read more After being told by the front counter mechanic guy that I needed to come back the next day for an battery terminal issue that I explained needed immediate attention (for fear of it coming apart while driving), he got a second opinion on the problem to which the owner/manager took a quick look. Upon inspection of the battery terminal, the owner decided it could be addressed right away. The owner took all but 10 minutes to prep the battery terminal, take off a very stubborn nut and replace my bad terminal with a new one. I know it was a small issue and easy fix but considering I needed it repaired right away and was unable to remove the stubborn nut on my own, I expected and was willing to pay the repair shop the fair cost of removing and replacing it. Instead he didn't charge me for any labor or the new battery terminal parts used. Also the type of service I received was HONEST, FAST, and FREE professional help for a repair that at any other repair shop would easily have charged me half an hour of labor as well as cost of parts. Although I don't think it wouldn't have totaled more than $50, for a business owner to make time during a busy work day to fit in one customer's emergency and not charge for labor and resources used is rare and unlikely. Thanks Sparks for the excellent customer service. I will definitely be back when I car troubles again.
