They are amazing professionals who know what they are doing. One of our repairs was to repair vandalism that resulted in damage to the front roof pillar. They took the time to repair the damage and maintain the structural integrity, and when they painted it they blended it seamlessly. When another vehicle had damage to the liftgate, their work was just as stellar. Being in a particularly brutal part of the car for Minnesota conditions, there was an issue with the repair. I walked in, chatted with their Estimator and showed him the problem. Will was wonderful to deal with, and to my utter surprise they performed warranty work without any hassles. I showed him the few small defects; he noted that the headlight placement had been damaged and that likely all repairs would be roughly $2100. I asked if they did loaner cars during the repair? They do not, but if it's the other persons insurance they should allow a rental car. I discussed the "Selected Service Shops" the insurance had suggested. He stated that those places are usually commission based and that Wayne-Val is just him, his wife & brother-in-law compared to larger shops that are 20+ associates. I feel confident in leaving my vehicle w Wayne-Val and will do another yelp/update this one once I have actually had my vehicle repaired. I appreciated that Joe quoted me a realistic 19 February as what I'd be looking at for a service date. I mostly appreciated that Joe told me some of the questions that the insurance may ask, such as: do I approve used parts? He said I don't have to say yes and he wouldn't recommend used parts and it could only save insurance a couple hundred dollars. We went back to Midway Caliber and the young woman who handled our case enlisted a helper and the two of them spent about 15 minutes removing the paint with lacquer thinner and restoring the hood to its original condition. Everything was going great until 1 month in, 3 solid pieces of ice slid off a semi truck and slammed into our car on the highway, resulting in dents and cracks all along the passenger side of our car. I called a few auto body shops to see what my options were and it was pretty clear that I would have to replace all of the affected panels because that is just how cars are designed, apparently.  It would have been THOUSANDS to replace both passenger doors and the rear, back panel of the car. I just switched insurance and didn't want my premiums to go up just because of a freak accident like this. We also don't have the money to pay out of pocket. My priority was just to patch up the cracks so they would not rust. Tom took my call and was willing to help me do just that. We got the car back in 24 hours. It was just one more thing that I didn't have to worry about, amidst a litany of things we had to manage during a busy and already stressful month. I am so grateful to Tom for making the time to help me with this little patch up.
