Check- in at the front desk was great. I was greeted with a smile and the process was smooth. The technicians who take your vitals are professional and friendly. Dr. Kempf was amazing, professional provides high quality care, is kind and honest. She takes the time to thoroughly review your health without feeling rushed. I appreciate her straight talk and the way she avoids jargon. The lab technician was excellent too. She hits the vein on the first stick. Great experience. I shared with my wife and she's going to switch her Primary Care Physician too. The Follow My Health app is the weak spot. It needs to share information input by the patient with the doctor to live up to the promise of the technology. read more

This chain of primary care offices only write maximum of 3 months of prescription refills. This is for ALL prescriptions, not narcotic or otherwise. I suspect this is a means to get paid more regularly, via appointment copays every 3 months when you need to check in again and again regardless of how long you have taken this medication or how great your bloodwork looks. They just keep scheduling and scheduling you. Then, at the appointment, you wait 30 minutes past your scheduled appointment time to actually be taken back to see a doctor--to which you wait another 15 to see them and then talk with them for less than 5 minutes. Neither the doctor nor the pre testing technician have any idea why you're there--a testament to their ridiculous scheduling practices. My prior appointment was to go over bloodwork. Bloodwork was fine, so doctor was confused as to why I was there. Hell if I know--YOU scheduled me! I'm not scheduling this appointment for fun or leisure! It's incredibly disruptive for my own personal life considering I also work in a medical office to come here. All those things aside, this office looks like an abandoned house and reeks of kitty litter through the entire place and is painted haphazardly and caulked tragically where the ceiling and floors are cracking. The shabby setting really drives home how useless the care at this office is--you're just another dollar sign to this company. read more

My very first visit was with Doctor Mark Bentley, I had a severe coughing and was looking for treatment. Instead I was told that since it a first visit they will assign me to a different doctor or nurse practitioner in order to check my illness. So visit with Doc Bentley only lasted for 3-5 mins no prescription no listening to my breathing My insurance as well as facility confirmed that the visit is fully covered by insurance but a year later I received a bill at $255!!!! The NP I saw was nice. After that, forget it. I'm changing doctors. If you want to talk to anyone in the office, you're shit outta luck. Talk to AI or an answering service is all I've done for days. I get NO answers, NO return calls or texts, NOTHING! I've contacted them more than once daily, the pharmacy has contacted them. AI and messages aren't working people! On the hunt for another doctor. Terrible service do not recommend, You schedule an appointment and they call you not even 24 hours in advance and cancel the appointment then want to charge you 50$ for not showing up to the appointment. They do not stick with there scheduling, and charge you when you don't show up to your appointment where's the professionalism in that! read more

Office managers with power complexes are not something anyone wants to deal with in a healthcare setting. There are enough frustrations with insurance providers to go around. When copay funding creates a scheduling conflict, discretion should be implemented when enforcing the $50 cancellation fee. Hillside failed miserably in this regard, which was insulting considering the fact that I had a Saturday appointment cancelled on me in route to the office. They're pretty proud of a network of physicians assistants where you never see a Doctor. read more

Very poor service. I went to pharmacy 3 times looking for my medication and have no medicine called in.

Wait time was too long. 45 mins before they took me in even though I had an appointment. Two days later I went in for blood work and had to wait 40 minutes. Care provided by Dr. was excellent. I may go elsewhere if these long wait times continue despite the excellent care. read more

I went in as a new patient a few weeks back and Dr. Kumar was great. However that was short lived.. I just called them to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kumar, the main doctor - and the lady at reception said. "Oh she only meets the patient on the first visit" and I was said, "OK so every other time I come there I can never see Dr. Kumar?? I'll always have to go to a nurse practitioner??" AND she said yes that's how it is. I am shocked. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I already have this insurance plan and they've been designated as my PCP but I am worried is this is their policy.. I am going to see the nurse practitioner on Friday. But I am seriously considering now changing my PCP or figuring out something else because that just doesn't make sense to me. I hope the reception lady had the wrong information and I can clear up this when I go visit. If I'm willing to wait to see the doctor on the one day a week that she is at the clinic, I don't see why they cannot accommodate that. Not impressed with the facility, staff, level of care. I didn't even get an examination. They stated they were not busy but it still took 1.5 hours to get in and out. I am a healthy young female with no chronic conditions and all they want to do is keep sending for blood work. First it was once a year. Now they are saying I need it every 3 months! Why? Then every time I go they are wanting me to get a EKG and a mammogram etc... They are starting to feel like a scam. My son is a healthy teenager with no conditions as well and they keep calling him wanting blood work as well. We will not be going to this clinic ever again! Something is definitely not right here! The only consistent aspects of this office is their inconsistencies in timeliness, staff and billing. -I have been getting bloodwork for a medication I was on for the past year. They have tried to charge me three different amounts, at my third draw I'd had enough. I asked why their office consistent on billing and a rationale for double the rate as before. They blamed my insurance which has not changed and I asked for the orders and left to head to labcorp. I refuse to be taken advantage of. - when Abbi McDaniel left the practice, I should have left as well. I have seen 2 different doctors and each time I feel like it's a waste of my time. My original concern seems to be lost in "this is our first visit...." Drama. Doesn't anyone take notes? - there used to be a time when you had an appointment and it was timely.
