I had to wait a bit longer than probably as usual due to COVID but not even their fault! I had issues with my 08 Kia Sorento and took it to another shop where I was quoted $2800 to fix my basically new car only has 40k miles on it... I called PK auto and This shop was honest from the moment I called I knew this was the shop. I called to talk to them about my cars issues 15 min before closing.. which a lot of people hate but he went into full details on the phone with me and made me decide to bring my car here! So happy I did not only are they honest but seriously good mechanics who care! He even shows me the part that failed and took care of me I will be coming back for now on!! Here's what I like about PK: they're honest, and they do good work. I trust these guys more than any other shop in the valley. They've never tried to sell us anything we don't need. On multiple occasions I've had quotes from other shops who said we needed much more extensive & expensive repairs, while P K just does what's needed. I feel like they fix my car like they'd fix their own. I've had them work on 5 different cars over the years (including a Tacoma, a Corolla, 2 Accords, and my old muscle car), and I've sent many coworkers & my boss there. From old beaters to new imports, we've all had nothing but good experiences. For you wary women: they've always treated my wife, a girl who doesn't know much about cars, just the same as me, a car guy & amateur mechanic. That's comforting. They're not the cheapest shop in town, but they don't cut corners - they do it right. The only downside is they are usually booked a week or more in advance, so call ahead if you can. read more

I have been to a lot of bigger shops. I am glad I found this one. I got to talk to the owner. He worked on my car and actually showed me what was wrong. He had the same ability that the larger shops had and in the end it cost me a lot less to have it fixed. I will go back with other cars if I ever have a problem because these are the guys I trust. I do most of my car maintenance myself. However, when I get a really tough case I bring it here. One case was a really tough spark plug replacement with an impossibly tight clearance. After I managed to mess up the threads, I brought it in so they could lift the engine and finish the job. Shame on me, and congratulations for them for finishing quickly at the agreed upon price. The second case was a four wheel drive gear that refused to engage. Problem solved within 24 hours, and no troubles since. Completely honest in their work, but expect to be charged at a rate you would pay for a competent, trustworthy professional that isn't going to go on an escapade looking for additional work they might be able to do on your vehicle while you're there. read more

These guys are honest and won't sell you repairs that you don't need. Most recently they have been helping me with a 2011 Dodge Avenger. They put a lot of time into diagnosing engine issues and ultimately decided it just needed spark plugs. They probably could have sold me more expensive repairs but that's not who these guys are. Repair ended up being much higher that originally quoted and after I got my car back the running lights as well as the dashboard lights no longer worked, when I took it back they did fix it for free but upon driving it I found that the front blinker no longer worked which was part of the original repair, I ended up fixing this myself rather than going back there again read more
