They have toiletries and snacks available at the front desk for purchase in case you forgot to bring anything but there are also stores within walking distance. Our room was exceptionally clean and during our stay we enjoyed meeting two of the housekeepers, Induli and Aggie. The Inn was very quiet which was achieved with a lot of hard work and ingenuity when Marianne took over as proprietor and renovated it. Even on weekends when it was full it was quiet. One confirmed the roach problem. This is the detailed letter I wrote to the board of health; Hello, I am writing to you from my car at Motel 6 in Niantic as I cannot go back into our room. I was awoken by a cockroach crawling on my face as I slept. When I felt something on my face I flung it to the floor. I then grabbed my phone for light and saw it on the ground running away so I squashed it. I then continued to look around and saw two tiny bugs which I also squashed. As I had killed the first bug so quickly, I didn't realize at the time it was a cockroach but then I continued to look around the room and found two more cockroaches. I wasn't able to get a photo because they scattered under the baseboard of the floor too quickly. I immediately went to complain to the overnight desk person and she admitted that they had had complaints about cockroaches before in other rooms. I also noticed a can of bug kill spray in the office as well so obviously they are aware that they have a problem.

The room had a mildew smell. The curtain rods didn't have any curtains Just sticks, no fabric. Usually there's a sheer curtain and a thicker black out curtain. There was no sheer curtain. There were mysterious red stains on the couch. No bed bugs though! Breakfast was underwhelming. The apple juice was very watery. The food was generally pretty bland. Eggs rubbery, sausage was unflavorful. The boiled oatmeal was literally mush. Bagels were ok. Also, the chair cushions in the lobby were chipped/cracked and peeling. Table was wobbly. The location is in a random spot in a sketchy neighborhood. Parking is ok. Basically, I agree with the other reviewers that this place is definitely dated and janky af lol. I was disappointed because I thought Marriott had a certain level of standards. If you stay for one night here as a last resort, it's fine but I'd go somewhere else if you intend to stay a bit longer.
