I went there on a Saturday just to do some hiking and try out some hard cider. The barn was packed and they were out of hard cider. They also seemed to be understaffed, so it took a while to get information/directions from the staff. The grounds are very nice though! They have an easy hiking trail that takes you through the woods. The cider donuts were also delicious! Definitely worth the trip alone. They also gave me free donuts because they were out of hard cider. Fun experience! read more

What better way to spend a gorgeous fall day than picking apples and tasting wine in the Berkshires? They have a large variety of apples, though I was a little frustrated by the lack of signage in the orchard so I'm not entirely sure what I picked. They also make wine and brew cider (the cold alcoholic beverage as well as the classic juice). You can sample two for free! Some of the ladies pouring were extreeemeellyy generous in their samples. No complaints here. The best part.....they are dog friendly! They allow leashed pooches in the orchards and in the tasting room. Woof woof! read more

Stopped in for some wine tasting. Reggie was a wonderful host leading us through the diverse collection of wines in their portfolio. She gave us information on a wine & beverage tour available in the area. Also gave us precise directions to another stop for wine tasting in Pittsfield. Our only criticism is that the 20 or so Adirondack chairs were faced to the road not much to see when the beauty of their orchard was available to see behind the building. Stopped in to pick some apples in October. Value of the apple bags was decent. Overall a great place to pick apples, as the selection was robust and the orchard folk were friendly. We also bought a couple of apple cider doughnuts as well as a 6-pack of cider; both were delicious. My only knock on the place was that they had a sign stating that if you 'liked' them on facebook, you'd get a free doughnut. Unfortunately, they are in the middle of nowhere and the cell signal (for Verizon, at least) was non-existent. I tried to explain this to a staff member, and even promised to 'like' them once I re-entered civilization, but they weren't biting. Oh well. read more

This was my second time heading to the orchard. Sarah even recognized my face even though a month had passed. The first time I did a wine tasting with friends. This time I did a flight of hard ciders with my friend. Both times I was so impressed by both the quality of the wines/ciders and the dedication of the staff. The bartender explained how each cider was made and suggested a sequence to enjoying them. My favorite was the Key Lime & Coconut flavor- which was like a vacation in a glass. Sarah, clearly loves her job and was incredibly helpful and patient while my friend and I ordered. There donuts are also the best Apple Cider donuts in the county. They make them fresh and they never sit for too long due to demand. That tells you something....Do not miss this gem! read more

Went here for the wine tasting. It was $5 a person and we got to chose 6 different wines from a decent sized list. All the wines for very good. We even bought a glass and sat by the fire. What an amazing little spot to spend an afternoon! We were camping at Cherry plain state park and headed here after to have a nice tasting and relaxing afternoon. The workers here are such genuinely nice people. They seem to really care about what they do and the product/service they provide. It shows in the quality of the experience! I came with a group of six 21-30 year old women and we felt warmly welcomed. The inexpensive wine tasting included ice wine and mead, as well as white, red, and sparkling wine. The mead was way more delicious than I expected! Even the wines outside of my comfort zone were good, but the personable workers and atmosphere was the best part. There were also fresh baked goods and many other local goods! This is great for if you care about supporting local farms to decrease your carbon footprint, too! read more

I have to tell you, I love wine. The wines are fairly decent, the special reserve bubbly cider is AMAZING. However, at the end of the day, the reason for our purchases was because of the guest service. Nancy is the greatest, most hospitable, friendly, accommodating representative I have encountered in a very long time. Ask for her if you're there, she is EXCELLENT. Loved this little orchard. While on a scenic drive to see fall foliage I decided to stop by and do some wine tasting and grab an apple cider donut. The wine was surprisingly good. I don't usually like sweet wines but I will say their Mailai (probably spelling it wrong) and their To Be Pair is delicious. They have quite an assortment of wines, including a good Cab. My favorite part about this place was the friendly staff. Sarah and another gal (sorry I don't remember your name but you know who you are) we're so friendly and attentive, and they made you feel at home. (Free for 2 tastes, $5 for an additional five). They also have their own hard cider for sale/sample (unfortunately they were out of this when I came). We ordered pies for Thanksgiving and were very very disappointed! Wild blueberry was gloopy with cornstarch and no fresh fruit taste at all, crust was salty(?!) and not homemade. For $16.00 for one 8 in pie it was a real ripoff! Better off at Big Y for 8 bucks! 2 years ago we got delicious pies here, so i didn't hesitate this year. They threw 3 more in so we tasted 9 wines and ciders and ended up buying the ones they threw in We sat on the screen porch with a bottle of cider and enjoyed a huge cheese and fruit plate for $6 per person.
