Why would they charge $10 a night for parking, when you can stay in nicer hotels in walking distance from there that have free parking and free breakfast. Stayed here couple of times and it was overall a decent experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable - however the bathrooms amenities were little out dated and it wasn't that clean. Staff was friendly and helpful though. It's not fancy, but it is dependable and well kept, perfect for short stay or business trip. We stayed there 8/13/24-8/14/24. Front desk clerk was not very friendly. After only a few minutes in our room, my wife suffered a very strong allergic reaction to a cat that had been in the room. They did move us to another room, but we were never notified that pets were allowed in all rooms. As a retired Holiday Inn maintenance manager, I was shocked that on top of the excessively expensive fee for the night, they had the audacity to charge $12 parking fee. We wanted to rest and they did not let us in because we are 18 year old but if they didn't let us the website shouldn't have let us book a room and shouldn't say it allows you to book a room at 18 year old, and the lady in the front asked us how old we were and then went into the back room to get someone to tell us we not allowed in but if she works there shouldn't have she known we weren't allowed. We also did call again to change the time on when we were going to get there and they also told us they would have our room there so if they knew and saw the reservation and saw our ages on the website, they should have told us they wouldn't take us in because finding a hotel to take us in at the same day is difficult. read more

The hotel is showing its age. The room was OK although it is clear that it has endured a lot of wear and tear. The breakfast was minimal. They charge $12 for parking over and above the room rate which is not disclosed until check-in. To top it off the elevator was not working. So, toting my bags up to the third floor and back down again is not what I signed up for. read more

The rooms look NOTHING like the photos. We were told they are "renovating". Our room was not cleaned. Found a pill and jockey shorts under 1 of the beds. The bathtub was filthy, ring and all. The bathtub wall was splatterd with something. I'll leave that to your imagination. The beds were poorly made. I must say there was 1 desk clerk who was so sweet. She has the most beautiful long hair. I failed to get her name but if you see a beautiful black woman with long hair, know that she's very professional and sweet. Our door keys CONSTANTLY didn't open the door to our room and when I went down to get the 2 keys reprogrammed, I was grilled over the fact that MY name nor my daughter's name was on the list for the room. I had to give her my mother's name, address, 2 phone numbers and her email address to be ALLOWED back into the room and get the new keys! My mother literally told the woman who made the reservation weeks ago who would be in the room with her... daughter and granddaughter and her dog. I am so disgusted. My mother paid over $300.00 for this room for just 2 nights. My mom would never make these complaints but I would!! read more

The place is clean and front desk staffs that we met were very courteous and friendly. The downside, the hotel charges a $10 parking fee for every nigth you stay, it should be free for hotel guests. This is the only place that I know of that add a parking fee on top of your hotel room bill. After a marginal stay last week, I was invited to come back to make it right. I booked four nights but only stayed two. In my last stay, there were attention to detail issues regarding housekeeping. So I checked in on the 8th only to go to my room and find that housekeeping was not done. They gave me another room where upon checking in, the remote did not work(more attention to detail issues). I ordered some take out and when I put my salad in the refrigerator, I saw that the refrigerator was not working. They replaced it. The last draw for me cutting my stay short was when I got my salad from the fridge from the night before, it was frozen. It's painfully obvious that the rooms are not only not being serviced correctly, it's compounded that no one is checking to make sure. I will not be staying here again. One positive note, the afternoon front desk person(don't have the name, but she was African American) was very pleasant and seems to know what she's doing. read more

Worst place we've ever stayed! Upon checking in we were asked "what we wanted" then were accused of having fake IDs because they were out of state, then we were accused of stealing someone's Hilton account because the address on my ID didn't match. Charges twice a day for parking, room service never came. They gave us ONE towel and were upset that we asked for more, told us it was easier to go pick them up downstairs then refused to give us any towels. If you have any questions don't bother asking because the staff will ignore them because it apparently inconveniences them and their time hiding in the back away from guests. If I could give 0 Stars I WOULD! I highly recommend anyone/everyone (especially if you have kids) to stay far away from this place. It was a nightmare from the minute we walked in! We were there for a Softball tournament so there were several softball teams there and apparently that was too much for them to handle. For starters, they did not have the correct room that I had reserved so I had to downgrade. The door to bathroom didn't work, the shower didn't work. In the pool area, there were roaches and it was disgusting!!! But the worst part of all were these 2 SUPER young employees, who were acting like they owned the place! Natalie and Vinnie were threatening to call the police on us and other parents (from different teams). Vinnie EVEN threatened our children in the hallways yelling out (in these exact words), "Yo yo, ya'll better get back to your rooms or I'm going to call the cops on you!" He literally yelled this out to our 10, 11 and 12 year old kids and traumatized them!! When we tried to talk to Natalie to tell her this was NOT OK, she would not listen. Instead, she would put her finger up in our faces, and her solution to everything was, "I'm going to call the police." I even heard her threatening another mom that she was going to have her and her family kicked out! I just cannot believe what we and our children experienced. It was like I was in the twilight zone. This was THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!! Do NOT stay here!!!! read more

I stay at Hilton's often and found this one satisfactory for the area. The staff was friendly and the facilities were good but the rooms were dated and a bit rough ( toilet didn't flush correctly) Coffee machine wasn't cleaned after last use. The staff at this hotel was the rudest people I have come across. I don't know if the female I was speaking to was the manager but her rudeness was disgusting. I booked through booking.com and there was an error with billing. W were told that the virtual card was emailed to staff that hasn't been employed there for 7 months and they did not have access to email. When on phone with booking.com they were unable to send email without proper paperwork. I used the last of my funds and was unable to pay another 300 for room. Your manager began to yell at us and told us to get out that she was canceling our room. This was ridiculous. I travel for work and this hotel is so cozy, Elizabeth is very helpful and was able to accommodate me on a Friday night and I even checked I late. She gave me a room on the first floor, which in my opinion if I don't have the Rocky Mountains on my floor Id rather stay on the first floor. The aesthetics of this hotel is pretty nice! I would give 5 stars but I had a request that was not noted in my reservation ion although I had called the same morning of my check-in. Paper thin walls. You can hear people talking in both rooms on each side of you. You can hear the tv from the next room over. Had to sleep with a pillow over my head just to drown out the noise. I had the worst experience of my life at this hotel. I will NEVER stay at this property again!! I had booked 8 rooms through booking.com for our softball team and when the parents started to arrive some of them were checked in and others were turned away and not given a room. Even though we had email and booking confirmations. I was then charged for the rooms that they did not give us! The guest that did check in were charged $70-$90 more for their room than the rate that was given to us through booking.com. And come to find out another parent was also charged for more than one room!! But this was only the start of my nightmare with this hotel. On Saturday our team was hanging out at the pool. We were there pretty much the whole day having a good time and not bothering anyone. The pool closes at 10pm but at 9:30pm two Palmdale sheriffs show up and told us we had to turn off the music and leave the pool area. We said we understood and would start packing up to leave the pool area and that we would be out by 10. We asked the sheriffs why they were called? And why wouldn't the staff come out and just tell us themselves. He didn't have an answer for us. So when I went in to the hotel I asked Natalie at the front desk why she would call the sheriffs and not just come out and tell us to turn off the music. She told me she could do whatever she wanted and that she is calling the sheriff on me because I was harassing her. I stated that she couldn't call the sheriff ...I didn't do anything. And she said I'm kicking you out you can not stay here tonight, she then proceeds to call the sheriff and stated that I was harassing her and that I needed to be escorted out! This behavior from Natalie is unacceptable! She is a young girl with no customer service who needs to be replaced because she clearly can not handle her job! I have never ever experienced anything like this from hotel staff. Not to mention how upset my children were thinking that there Mom was going to get hauled away by the sheriff just for asking a question! Luckily the other group at the pool that day had a couple of sheriffs in their group so when the Palmdale Sheriffs showed up for the second time they told them we were not bothering anyone and that the hotel staff NEVER came out to talk to us the whole day. So the Palmdale sheriffs left. This situation was so unnecessary and Natalie calling the Sheriff was excessive! Vinny at the front desk also told a dad "what kind of parent are you? drinking at the pool and letting your kids run around unattended". This is very unprofessional. I also overheard Vinny threatening a group of 8 year old little girls to get in their rooms or he was going to call the cops on them. Natalie and Vinny should not be left alone at night to run the hotel. They are two young kids on a power trip who obviously need more training and life experience!! I really hope management gets a handle on their employees so no other guests have this same experience. Another incident I witnessed was that the hotel staff had turned off the lobby lights by 9:00pm on Saturday and there were guest coming in with food who sat in the dark eating because the staff would not turn the lights on for them. I have never been in a hotel where they turn the lobby lights off. I did question the staff as to why the lights were off and the reply I got was that 9:00pm is their "quiet time" and they always turn the lights off. But the night before I walked into the lobby at 11:00pm and the lights were on and people were hanging out and eating there. So this baffles me. On another note the ice machines did not work and our girls were playing softball in 80 degree weather so we were not able to get ice for our girls water bottles. Also, there were cockroaches at the pool area. I travel a lot for my kids sports and stay at plenty of hotels and have never had such poor customer service or treated the way I was from this hotel staff!!! My friends and I took shelter here after our camping trip became to cold and windy to stay the night. The price was great, staff was friendly, the proximity to restaurants was excellent, and our room was clean. Unfortunately, I think this place needs to increase some of their security measures, or at least pretend to, in order to deter crime. When we woke the next morning, we found my car windows were bashed in and the camping gear that we couldn't bring into the hotel was all stolen! The woman at the front desk was somewhat helpful - she called the Sheriff for me but didn't offer much else. It also worried me that she said "Last time this happened they told us to call the Sheriff and not 911"... so this has clearly happened before and they have ZERO security cameras!? At the very least, put up signs around the perimeter that make vandals and thieves THINK you have security or that the parking lot is being watched. Anyway, A+ for the room and price, but PLEASE up your security so you can maybe prevent this from happening to more people in the future! read more

My family stayed here for a soccer tournament. Very clean, modern furnishings. Emily at the front desk was very friendly and accomodating, she allowed us to check in early and check out late with no extra fee. Good place to stay if you have kids, right next door to Mulligans family fun center! Decent breakfast, included do-it-yourself wafflemakers, oatmeal bar, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage patties, assorted pastries, coffee, juices, yogurts and cereal. Only a 10 min drive from the Lancaster Soccer center, which made it super convenient. Surrounded by fast food restaurants and stores (like Target) as well as the antelope valley mall. Didnt use the pool, it was way too cold and windy. Free wi-fi for guests. Will definitely stay here again! read more

When Palmdale was a second home to me, the Hampton Inn was said home. Between 2007 and 2009/2010, I was practically a resident here. Maybe that's overkill, but I was here a lot. The Embassy Suites then opened up and I tried it there and loved it even more. And then...I stopped coming to Palmdale. Until recently. These days, at least when I went, the Embassy was twice as expensive and I couldn't justify that, so back to the Hampton. I will say that, aesthetically, they have done an absolutely wonderful job at keeping it look nice and new over the years. Bravo. Service was excellent, as it used to be. My room was a suite, large and nice and clean. WiFi is fast and free. I did get a gift card ($10 worth) for each night of the stay, but they were limited - around three choices, always the same. That was a bit disappointing. But the worst part was breakfast. I've stayed in many Hamptons, but this was, without a doubt, the worst breakfast I've ever had at a Hampton. It used to be good, but clearly it has slipped here. Really, really not good - stale breads, awful tasting hot items, etc. There are plenty of restaurants in the area which is great, as well as stores like Target if you need stuff, and the Antelope Valley Mall a few minutes away. Also a Bevmo nearby, which goes well with the in-room fridges. read more
