I've usually had pleasant experiences at this hotel, as the staff typically greet us warmly when we enter the lobby. However, I had a disappointing interaction during my most recent stay that left a sour taste. I was trying to purchase a bag of candy and was waiting right in front of the door opening, next to the price menu where I usually stand to check out. An employee named Soana seemed to be having a rough day. She glanced at me and gave me a dirty look while cleaning room keys. I patiently waited for about two minutes, and when I finally let her know I was ready to check out, she rudely told me to come around the corner without a single greeting, smile, or acknowledgment. All she asked for was my last name and room number, without any pleasantries or customer service. It felt very unprofessional and impolite. If you're working in customer service, it's important to provide service with a friendly attitude, and this experience fell far short of that. Just my two cents. I hope this is addressed, as it doesn't reflect the standard I've come to expect from Marriott. read more

Amazing service, clean facility and great breakfast! My daughter and I recently stayed here for the Niner's and bears game at Levi stadium last night. The room was spacious, modern and immaculate. We arrived a little early for my reservation and the front desk attendant was friendly and very helpful. She was able to accommodate us into a room sooner so we could have some downtime before the game. She was also able to link my stay to my Marriott Bonvoy rewards since I booked through a different 3rd party. I was very pleased with the quality and the value I paid. The beds were comfortable and the sheets crisp! Not to mention their breakfast was a great spread and their coffee was strong! We were able to get breakfast and came back to the room, showered and napped before packing up and hitting the road home. Thank you Fairfield and staff for a great stay and hospitality! I wish I could give you 10 stars! We look forward to making this our permanent spot when we come to Levi Stadium! read more

Omg love this hotel!!! Very new compared to the other ones in town. Off of 237. Lots of amenities! Very clean, friendly staff, fitness center, on site laundry, computer center, multiple coffee station, swimming pool and jacuzzi, plenty of complimentary parking and complimentary breakfast!!! Fitness center is very spacious and has a good amount of cardio and weights. I believe this hotel is shared building with Residence Inn and Aloft is just a short drive from here but they charge parking so I recommend booking here! Breakfast area is huge and has lot of options. I was really surprised to see chilaquiles!!! Plenty of seating for breakfast too. I pretty much named the gist of what this hotel has to offer but I'm sure there is so much more that I forgot! Walking in the hallways really made me feel like I was on vacation. The walls even tell you the history of Fairfair Inn which is so cool. Overall I really like this hotel!!! I can't remember if my room had a microwave or not but there was definitely a mini fridge! Snagged a last minute (as in THAT DAY) reservation for a spontaneous trip with family up in Sac. Price was SUPER affordable for a last minute deal (booked online). Staff was kind and accommodating. Place was clean and welcoming! Room was a good size - perfect for our family of four. Like with any Fairfield Inn, rooms came with refrigerator and microwave (I believe) as well as free breakfast. It's was very nice until I came about 6 months ago and saw a roach staring at me, I'm with a group i meet in SanJose that I guess has a contract or deal with the hotel, cause we always come to this hotel when I fly in from San Diego. So 6 months later I comes back to our meeting at the same hotel thinking the roach was a traveler that night last time, but guess again, not only do i see a dead one on the stairway but also see a man complaining to the hotel clerk about having to kill one in his room. The other clerk i complained to did say he only seen 2 or 3 since he been here, so that says they are about to get a roach problem if they don't do much about it. I don't like roaches at all especially in my hotel room, it is disgusting and I will book a separate hotel the next time we have a meeting up here in San Jose. Stayed here for a business trip. Clean and modern rooms. Housekeeping is every two days. I loved the service here. Had a personal request and they did everything they could to accommodate my request. Dee was the staff I worked with and she was so pleasant, professional, and friendly. They have free breakfast. Eggs, sausage patties, bananas, cereal, yogurt, pastries. Parking was also easy. Not much to do around there (e.g. can't walk around for food). You definitely need a car. read more

Traveled here for a work conference and called ahead to see if we could check in early. They were very helpful told us to call when we left the airport. Made the call and they said they would have a room available for us when we got in at 11 AM. The rooms are smaller but they're very comfy and cozy. The bathroom is spectacular. The bed is very nice. That's all I really need. Wi-Fi hook up was easy and the breakfast this morning was excellent. I would recommend that I would return. read more

Except for constant train horns, staying at this hotel was a decent experience. Room appeared new, clean, and spacious. On our last day I saw a couple ants in the bathroom, but probably our fault for leaving food out. Staff was friendly and welcoming every morning, but they put us in the room right by the train tracks which seemed to buzz by quite regularly during rush hours, honking their horns. I wonder if the rest of the hotel is quieter. The included breakfast was serviceable with a good variety of options. read more

So far this is the best hotel I've stayed at. The staff are respectful, considerate and very friendly. The inside and outside of the hotel is the cleanest I've ever seen. Rooms are spacious, they have a great size pool and spa. There is a basketball court and a small area for mini golf. The front desk offers basketballs and equipment for the mini golf. They have a mini store to purchase snacks and necessities. The breakfast is good and the restaurant/bar had great food as well except the prices are a little high. Location of the hotel is secluded away from main traffic areas with a nice walking trail with a slight view of the water. I would highly recommend this hotel. read more

Front desk employee Kaylenna is extremely rude. When you're checking in, and this is the first face that greets you, it makes you want to walk right out the door and take your money elsewhere-- which is what I wish I had done. This is the second time we have had to stay here. Over a week in total.The hotel rooms and amenities are very clean. Complimentary breakfast is better than most hotels I have been to. Management and staff are extremely accommodating, even though we have had some out of the ordinary requests. The gym is fairly large, clean and has towels and water station. There are plenty of other amenities but we have not had the chance to try them all yet. read more

She always makes us feel welcome above and beyond what is required of her, and never makes us feel like just another reservation. The hotel in general is exceptional, clean, new and very accommodating; but what keeps us coming back is the outstanding customer service from all the staff, especially Jema. Very clean and spacious hotel. easy access to highway and down the street from Great America and Levi's Stadium. 4 night stay and we had an amazing time. we had family/friends come over to visit and there was plenty of space to accommodate everybody in the lobby and even the bbq/pool area. The breakfast is pretty good and the lobby is really nice. Our shower in our room kept turning out at night which made it pretty scary to sleep in. I left a sandwich on the table of our room during my shower and returned to a HUGE swarm of ants. This picture is AFTER we wiped the table. They also double charged our card. They were able to fix this pretty quick tho which is good but overall not a great experience for the amount we paid. read more

We have stayed at this Fairfield many times with different family members. It is always clean. The breakfast offered in the hotel is definitely the best continental breakfast we have had in a hotel. It has great outdoor space for families and kids as well. The last time I was there, a housekeeper (wish I got her name) on our way out was so polite and went out of her way to talk to the kids and wish them a good day. We will return! read more

While this hotel is new, it's has multiple issues. While I appreciate the new feeling of things and the cleanliness, I couldn't help but notice the problematic areas with management and all. First, why have hotels never heard of a firm mattress or pillow? This seems to be an issue for all hotels though. They think everyone likes to sleep on feathers and sink into their bed/pillow. Second, the room had some ants in it in the coffee station area. I don't know how a new hotel can have ants already. I mean there weren't millions of them and I only saw a few but still puzzles me even though the staff sent someone up to check it out which was nice of them. The breakfast time was also a mess. They seemed to be severely understaffed in the kitchen and completely unprepared for the number of guests they had. There was one guy only running around doing his best to accommodate everyone but one person is t enough for at least 70 people in the room at the time. They need better coordination in that area and hire more people. Empty platters are not free breakfast it's just a nothing. At least the staff are nice enough to try their best. They seem to be management issues mostly and I hope this helps their learning process. read more

My husband who is a Titanium with Marriott booked a room for my son while traveling for business. Jesper(women at the front desk) was extremely rude,unprofessional and doesn't under stand costumer service. My boyfriend and I had rented a room for the football game that we had attended this weekend. The hotel looked fairly new and the rooms were nice. We went to the hotel bar are the bartender was very poorly supported by the manager in duty. The bartender Darin and at the time cook Amy did an absolute amazing job at accommodating everyone at the bar. Darin was friendly and worked well under the pressure of a full bar without having the necessary materials to do his job. If it wasn't for these two I would be giving this hotel a much lower rating than I am. I understand that it was a busy night for the hotel but I feel the management should have been supporting in the staff or the hotel. Overall our experience here was satisfying based on the bartender Darin and the cook Amy. read more

Our family had a fantastic time here. It was wonderful to be able to bring our pets with us. The beds were very comfortable, the toiletries luxurious, everything was impeccably clean and beautiful. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious. I have celiac and so there wasn't much for me to eat, but my family really enjoyed the food, eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries and yogurt. It was great to have the mini-fridge and microwave in our room to be able to have food for me too, anyone with food restrictions understands what a bonus this is. One of the very best parts about the Fairmont may have been the staff who were all very kind and helpful at every opportunity. We stayed four nights in total, the first night my son and I and the last two nights myself and his grandparents. When we checked in, the nice woman offered to have the room reset and cleaned on the day in between so that the grandparents would have a fresh linens for their half of the stay which I thought was very considerate for her to suggest. Little things like this with every interaction made us feel welcomed and cared for. The location is a little bit further out, 20 minutes from our main destination (Stanford) but it was lovely being next to the Guadalupe River. Every morning I saw beautiful wildlife, one day a squadron of pelicans, another day a black-crowned night heron and every day there were snowy egrets fishing and pretty little blue birds flitting about as well. You don't get to see that if you are right in the middle of the city. The morning river walk was a joyous way to start each day. There is a train nearby that you hear every once in a while but it wasn't very loud, I only ever noticed it when I was awake. This place has such incredible value for the price. Our family will definitely return again. read more

(GO Steelers ) The hotel is only a 20 to 25 minute walk to Levi Stadium if your into that? (Me...Uber, ) The area is near the office district so very clean but not a lot of food and drink choices. They have a nice lobby with a little beer and wine bar there. I'm sure once they have been open for awhile, they will expand that. However there are a lot more dining/drinking choices about 10 to 15 min. drive Lots of ample well lit parking! We Definitely will come back here! Oh and reservations are definitely a must!
