Went back here once again yesterday. The service was not good. We were basically ignored until the food came out. We had to ask for things like water refills and still didn't get them until we went to the counter to ask again. Food came out nice and hot and very tasty as usual. Today I brought 2 friends with me. I haven't had indian food for awhile so was looking forward to this place. I've been here several times before.. they have a good lunch special you get to pick two items from the menu as your mains. I got seated right away, place was empty only one other customer showed up while we were there, so was very disappointing with the lack of service. Asked for water the waitress never came back had to finally go up to the front counter and ask them to bring water. They don't really come and check on you to see you needing anything and it's too hard to get their attention because their kitchen and counter are far from where you're seated. They probably would have a lot more business if they regularly checked on their customers, especially in the beginning of the meal. And they should be keeping an eye out for when the Customer is done eating. The food is good. The non-was fresh. My only concern is they have this one cold salad with potatoes and carrots which I wish they would either change out to something else or serve it as a hot dish and not a salad. read more

Came here for dinner and received a lovely complimentary lentil soup with our meal! This place packs a lot of flavor in their dishes. We ordered several items and standouts were: tandoori grilled shrimp and garlic naan. Their mango lassi was also super tasty, and they use thick yogurt for it. My husband's expression after eating their food here. He said, "It's so fuking good!" We came here because we were trying to catch what Amazon Fresh has left since they were closing. We saw this restaurant at the corner of our eye and were curious about it. After we shopped we decided to try this Indian place out. My husband said I judge an Indian restaurant by two things: their chicken korma and garlic naan. He said the chicken korma was the best that he had and the aroma from the garlic naan smells so good. The garlic naan had a good taste of garlic and it's fluffy. My husband said the chicken korma is almost like the chicken korma from Bombay restaurant in Riverside that closed down. The Himalayan chicken fried rice was so good to me. My husband loves the veggie samosas. Wish the had a few more employees as the two had to run around. However the food was great, first experience here. We had chicken kebabs, chicken chow mein, spring rolls, garlic cheese naan and tried everyone else's dishes that we were with. Definitely recommend coming here, and will come back. Might be my favorite Indian restaurant in the valley. The food here is absolutely phenomenal. Their medium spice level really comes through. We got to start with lentil soup, which was very aromatic. The garlic naan was deliciously pungent and perfectly crispy for dipping into our sauce. The butter chicken was so comforting, with seasoned tender chicken. The rice was fluffy and fresh. The samosas were huge! Perfectly crispy, and the tamarind was my favorite. However, the service was a little odd at times, with personal conversations happening. There NEEDS to be some sort of music or ambient sounds. It was too quiet without it and I was hearing other tables conversations and even the kitchen a little too well. If they could improve the experience inside, I'd love it even more, but I might opt for a to-go order next time. read more

I have been here 4 to 5 times in the last two months and this food is the most delicious, fresh, authentic Indian food I've ever tasted.. The service is wonderful. You may wait 15 to 20 minutes, but it is well worth the wait because it is freshly cooked and they take time to put care and detail into the meals. We got gobi Manchurian appetizer (crispy and saucy cauliflower), saag paneer, butter chicken, saag tikka masala, and a yellow lentil curry. All were at a 4/5 spice, and the heat/kick were perfect (4/( is only a little less than a Thai bird's eye chili, or about twice as hot as spicy Korean food if you want an estimate). This is a newer Indian/Nepalese restaurant in Murrieta that I have meaning to try out. From the reviews it seemed like a place worth trying. After a day at the Hot Springs Resort we really didn't want to drive to old town, and this was just a few minutes away from the resort. We arrived at 4pm but there was no cars in the parking lot, so we were hoping this place lived up to the hype. Once inside, the restaurant is clean and well organized. The seating layout was nice and it had a colorful decor. We were greeted by one of the staff and seated in an empty restaurant, so needless to say we were a but worried. We were given a complimentary lentil soup sample to try, and it had a nice flavor and more representative of Nepalese flavors. We ordered the butter chicken, Salmon Tandori and the Gobi cauliflower. Prior to our order coming out, more people began to show up, and they were doing a lot of to go orders. Our food arrived and it was fantastic. The butter chicken was on point and the Tandori salmon with veggies melted in your mouth. we also got some nan bread with the meal, and it was some of the best nan I have had in a while. With a lot on Indian restaurants in the area, this one is really up there with the best. All the best have something that makes them great, I think here, everything is just really great. They also do a buffet on Fri-Sun for 22 bucks, I saw the layout and food list and it is something I will be back to try for sure. I would highly recommend this restaurant, if I could offer one suggestion, it would be that maybe they could play some Nepalese music to add to the vibe. Revisiting this Himalayan Grill with my daughter, it continues to be a wonderful place for curry and Asian dishes. I had a shrimp chow mein and my daughter her favorite chicken tikka masala. We got a #2 in spicing and decided that was our maximum. Everything was great. Service was great, as the restaurant was quiet on Veterans Day. The food is really good. We got the vegetable samosas, chicken korma, goat curry, and vegetable biryani. All of it was amazing. The mint chutney is the best I've ever had and the chicken korma was really good. I've been searching for years for a place that makes chicken korma like this and I'm so glad I found it. My review for "Himalayan Taste" in Temecula was very complimentary and it's still our favorite, and now "Himalayan Grill & Curry" is a very good option in Murrieta. My wife had the Chicken Biryani which was loaded with flavor! I tried something new for me, Shrimp Tikka Masala. SO good! I chose the upgrade on the naan to garlic cilantro and we split an order of Chicken Momo. The Chicken Momo had a wonderful sauce for dipping and they were meatier than others we've eaten. Another thing we like is that the server will ask what heat level you want which is very helpful for people who don't do spicy food well. You can get it as hot or as mild as you like.
