Got a job in Gunnison, brought my wife out looking for housing. Long story short, after checking the ratings in both towns I decided to try something different. It was GREAT. Stopped by for lunch on the way back from Telluride to Denver. It was a hot day and the waiter immediately gave us water. Wonderful service throughout the meal. Lunch buffet was good with various Indian dishes. What was amazing were the Mo-mo dumplings. They are a steamed Nepali dumpling. Preparation includes wrapping stuffed meat in flour dough. The dumplings are served with the house made "achaar" (dipping sauce). These were handmade and ridiculously good. It might have been better just to order two plates of Mo-mo. Portions are rather large while maintaining upmost quality. Every morsel was just as fantastic as the last. The garlic naan was very large and neither over-or-under garnished. I must restate that the portions are very large and the combo platter may be able to feed two mild-moderately hungry patrons. I would like to point out that I am a huge fan of Indian food, and I am based out of salt lake where there are several Indian food restaurants... In other words I pride myself in my taste for real Indian food.. This was the worst Indian food I have ever had. Granted the staff was friendly and the Samosa appetizer was wonderful everything else was terrible. For starters my favorite dish in all Indian restaurants is anything that has Saag in it, well their saag tastes essentially like someone had poured an entire dish of very thick whole milk that was colored green into a container and labeled it saag. On top of that the garlic naan tasted like very soggy and poorly seasoned cardboard. In a light of saving grace the rice (even though it is not basmati) was pretty alright granted it's hard to screw up rice and the Lamb curry was barely decent but I'm not sure if that's only because I had a long day of climbing and I was very starving. To conclude if you have had real Indian food before do not go here. I repeat do not go here. If you have never had Indian then you might like it. read more

Overall 4.5 stars. I came here with a pretty big group and got to taste a lot of their dishes. The garlic naan was absolutely 5/5 amazing. Order it! It was so soft and moist, yet toasty in places. The daal bhaat massu had a variety of sides that it came with on a platter and I thought some were better than others. The korma was very savory and flavorful. The lamb curry could have been more tender and the lentils didn't leave a strong impression. On the other hand, the indian dishes I tried were great. The food servings are well prepared and generous portions. The appetizer sampler, shared by two people, was a little spicy with dumplings, chicken, roasted potatoes and the fried cheese. The spice was the perfect heat for me. I had a lamb dish. The large serving of the grilled lamb cubes marinated in a yogurt sauce overnight was flavorful and the meat was tender.
