I was always a customer of another threading location, but like with many establishments, when they have fame they begin to lack the very first things they offered when they began, like good customer service and service overall. I went to another location and they made a hole in the upper part of my brows and thereafter told me to fill it in, so I decided to stop going there. I spent two months growing my eyebrows and i got on Yelp and started my search. Mind you, I have thick full dark brows, that are the focal point in my face, and I am also very precise and specific about how I like them. Arched and precise. So I decided to give them a shot and I am so glad I did. I have never seen anyone be so meticulous and careful with my eyebrows. Even when she was finished and all she had to do was the trimming, it's like she cut it one strand at a time. She was precise with every hair. It was absolutely amazing. Back where I used to go it was done in about 1.5 minutes. Shiva (I think) took her time to detail every last hair. I was extremely impressed. I actually took a before and after. I want to smack myself for not waiting a few more days to go to my regular spot. I had a Brazilian wax done and ended up with an second degree burned vagina, inner thighs and butt. I had to get medical attention a few days later after using ice and over the counter meds did not help. I was diagnosed with a skin infection because I had untreated burns. I am scared for life!!!!!!!!!!! I would post pics if it were legal! I kept telling her the wax was to hot and that it hurt. She kept saying "oh some areas are just more sensitive than others". MAYBE they are just good for eye brows. On a lighter night the place looks clean and the staff was friendly. They should just stick to eyebrows. read more

After searching Yelp for a place that uses hard wax for Brazilian wax... I came across Hina's. I don't like soft wax because it tends to hurt me more than the hard wax so I was very happy after finding this location. I waited about 5 mins before being seen by Rinku. She's the sweetest! Always smiling, extremely informative about waxes, and she talks to you during the whole process. When I tell you this was the least painful wax I've ever gotten! Like being dead serious! The technique she uses I loved! Only thing I didn't like was the price. They charge $50 for hard wax. I'm use to paying $35 for hard wax so I was a little annoyed by that but I think they have a customer just off how great Rinku was. read more

My review is for the brazilian wax. Do not get it done here, but it seemed pretty busy with people getting their eyebrows threaded. The older lady that does the waxing is nice, but she kept waxing the same area over and over and then over again. At first I thought she was being thorough, but afterwards realized that she did not have a technique. I have had brazilians done in the past, but my skin never looked as red and swollen after the wax from here. The worse part was when the hair was growing back. It was extemely itchy and just wrong looking ( I'd rather not get too discriptive). While I hate giving bad reviews, I'd rather inform others so that they are cautious. read more

I have been here twice. The first time I was here there was only one worker and she was too busy watching her indian soaps rather then working on her clients. Second time I was here, again one (different) person was at the salon and she gladly took me in for a facial. I told her I have sends give skin and she suggested the 60$ facial which I don't mind as long as I get the results. The time was supposed to be 45 minutes which turned into an hour and a half because her other coworker had guests and declined her request to come by when more clients came in. I don't mind the wait as well but she did not work on my pores! Agh I have all my blackhead as is. I even told her that she left out my blackheads and she told me that 'they are too hard to get out', hmm yea I know and? You would think that was all no! I got my eyebrows and upper lips thread and she left half my upper lip hair. Either they need to hire new people or they will lose their business. Spent 79$ and almost two hours and came back unsatisfied. I will never return to this place again! read more

I love love love this place. My first time here was actually 4 years ago which was the first time I've ever gotten my eyebrows done. Ever since I've been a happy returning customer. It doesn't matter who threads your eyebrows in there. Honestly I've had multiple people do my eyebrows in there on different occasions and I'm always satisfied with the way my brows come out. i went for a brazilian wax n underarm. it was my first time there n i was convinced by all the good reviews that i read on yelp! so, the place is clean, n the employees r very nice. i got it done by Rinku. she is a sweetheart. she asked me everytime if i m ok n if i m feeling pain n also made me feel really comfortable n no awkward conversations at all. she is a pro. she let me try a patch of hard wax that is more expensive n best for sensitive skin($50 for brzilian wax), n she did a small area with the other one that is sugar wax or the regular one i guess n its $35 for brazilian wax n $7 for underarms. the process was real quick n pain was as minimum as possible. she put an oil after wax was done n asked me to chk if i m satisfied with the results. she did a clean job n i will give her a 5 star. i also got my eye brows n upper lips threaded n it cost me $10. so, all over the expeience was good n i m definitely going back. i would recommend this place for brazilian wax, body wax, threading. i also saw a customer who just got her lash extensions done n she was looking nice n i might try it sometime soon. THE WORST, THE WORST !! I should have gone with my gut and skipped this place. (My regular waxing place had no availability.) I called ahead to make an appt. The owner (I assume she was, middle-aged Indian lady w/glasses, long ponytail) was so rude. A young girl said the lady would do my waxing - Brazilian & half leg. She had the girl help her with my legs. They did a rush-rush job with cheap wax. When they were done, I had a lot of hair still. She said, "short hair, no good, won't come out." But I've been to other places where they waxed me fine with short hair. Then she did my Brazilian. This lady has NO BEDSIDE MANNER! It was like she was intentionally hurting me. I was telling her it hurt but she didn't care. She had no cream or oil to help with the pain. At one point she got the wax on my vagina. PAIN!!!! She was clearly rushing b/c someone said she had a customer outside. She came in and out of the room 3 times while I'm laid out on the table naked from the waist down. And I had to keep asking her to close the door. I asked her to use the same wax she used on my Brazilian on my legs. Her response: "that wax is expensive." WTF?! That's the same cheap wax all the nail salons use. Are you kidding me? She's rushing so much she gets baby powder all over me, the floor, my shoes and my pants. She left paper towels everywhere, the drawers open and wax dripped all over. Time to pay. Sign says: Brazilian $30, Half leg $20. She says, "Oh $35 for Brazilian b/c your hair hard to come out. I say, "No, the sign says $30. And you're not charging me full price for my legs right?" "No, just half leg." "But you left so much hair. My legs should be smooth coming out of here." "I told you, that's your fault. Short hair no good, not come out." "Okay, $30 for Brazilian and $20 for legs." Although she absolutely did not deserve it, I paid the $50 and left. No tip, course. As I said, this was THE WORST service I have ever received at a "salon." She is all about the $$, not customer service which is why she will NEVER get my business again. And unless you want a similar experience, I suggest the same for you. Please take your money where you will be treated with respect and get good service. The ladies in there do everything different. One lady took off half the top of my eyebrows after asking just for them to clean it up a bit and keep my regular shape. Now I'm missing half an eyebrow. Thank god it doesn't look so bad. They also basically insist every time I go that I should do tinting cause my eyebrows are light which is annoying. The price isn't bad and after 9 times of going the 10th time you get them done for free. but I rather pay more to get my eyebrows done the correct way. I think I'll go back to waxing them. read more

Just returned from Hina and had eyebrow threading, full leg wax, and Brazilian. I live in Westchester and travel to the Bronx to get my treatments here after getting burn marks from an expensive spa in my town. Hina is not upscale in decor but the service is excellent and the treatments are just as good, if not better, than any high end spa. read more

I went here for the first time and WILL NOT be back. Upon entering there was one worker sitting and eating a fruit. I said hello and she just looked at me with no response. Finally, after no response I asked for an eyebrow threading. She pointed to a seat. Fine not much for customer service but I gave her a shot. I told her just a clean up. Well to say she was rough is an understatement! As she is doing my brows she is trying to upsell with tinting and other services. I said no thank you and she seemed upset by this. She did a decent job but I had to repeat 6 times I just wanted a clean up and not to thin them out. When she was done my eyebrow area was irritated and red for over 2 hours. This has never happened before at other locations I have gotten threading. There are too many options in the area to have to deal with rough treatment and poor service. This is a definite pass for me. May be the other workers are better but she was the only one in the shop. read more
