    Meat for hot pot
    Kathryn P.

First of all, the speakeasy entrance is so cool ! Diners feel transported from an adorable ice cream shop to a very cool restaurant. There Is a gorgeous bar and lot of group seating where the tables themselves heat up for the hotpots. Now onto the food, there was not a single bite I did not LOVE! The food was incredible. The Wagyu in every dish just melts in your mouth. The Sando definitely being the highlight but the rice box with the egg yolk mixed in was incredible. The hot pot was a really fun experience and very well explained. We got a side of each sauce and did the miso broth which was so tasty. It was easy to cook and so yummy!! I can't wait to come try more!

Been here twice already and im counting down the days until we get to go back. First of all, the concept is insanely cool. A hidden speakeasy dinning experience in an aesthetically pleasing Vietnamese ice cream shop?? Count me in! Second of all, the price is quite expensive buttt the quality is definitely there. And this is coming from the girl that just went to japan for a 12 hr layover and ran to try all the wagyus they had over there to compare! Youll want to bring a friend to try the wagyu sando.its definitely fatty but will give your taste buds an experience of a lifetime. Literally melts in your mouth. We also fell in love with the rice boxes! You really cant go wrong. Theres just so much richness and packed with all the flavors you could ever want. Im not quite a fan of Japanese style hot pot, buttt definitely give it a try if youre curious!

What first impressed me was the entrance of this being located inside of an ice cream shop! I love speakeasy's and it was very unique. They specialize in Wagyu and we tried a lot of menu items. Everything was pretty good but I think just a tiny bit of salt would have went a long way. My whole group agreed. The most flavorful dish was the Wagyu rice box that didn't need anything else added. My friend who typically eats beef tar tar ordered it and said it didn't taste right and that night she threw up the food. The next morning she was having a horrible time. Me and my other friend didn't have these effects and we were the only ones who ate everything except the beef tar tar. Just keep that in mind. Overall a good vibe/ambiance and I'd come back here with my hubby as a date night. It was also nice to come here with friends too! The servers were very kind!

We visited Nabe for our anniversary, as at the price point, it is a special occasion place for us. However, the price is definitely matched to the quality, as these were top notch items. We opted for the sando, rice box, and the smallest portion for the hot pot. Everything was really good. My favorites were the hot pot and the sando. They were also kind enough to give us a scoop of the taro ice cream from Nola for our anniversary.

First timer at Nabe at Dr. Phillips Friendly service. Great staff. All the workers are amazing and the owner himself is such a funny guy. I had a great dining experience at Nabe Japanese restaurant. My favorite dishes were the lumpia and the wagyu sando--both packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. I also tried the seafood rice box, which was refreshing and filling, though the rice itself was a bit hard. The open space and diverse food choices really enhanced the experience. While the menu is small (just front and back), it offers enough variety to be satisfying. The wagyu beef was incredibly flavorful, making up for the tough rice in the box. Portion sizes were generous, and the pricing was reasonable, especially for a fine dining restaurant. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely come back.

Amazing! This is a hidden hot pot place inside Nola's ice cream. Great ambiance inside with attention to detail. For example the chopstick holders were all different and the dishes and bowls were all pretty and unique. The food was delicious! Everything we ordered was great, but the wagyu sandwiches were definitely the star of the appetizers by far. We ordered two hot pot broths, the chicken one and the spicy Szechuan broth. The spicy Szechuan broth was by the best spicy hot pot broth I've had. Very flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. The meat was melt in your mouth tender. Excellent service and our server was very attentive who also brought out some samples of a different broth we didn't order. Will definitely be back!

I really hope this place stays open because it's one-of-a-kind and true delicacy hidden inside Dr. Phillips. The owners are kind, and they own the ice cream joint attached to Nabe. The wagyu is out of this world tender, and the menu is curated perfectly. My fiance surprised me with dinner here the night we got engaged and it was so romantic and intimate, but also felt special and perfect for us. We went a little crazy trying different things, but the portions are not too large, so you can try multiple items! We got the lumpia which is INSANELY good, followed by the wagyu sliders which I still think about. For mains, I got the pho because it's my favorite type of noodle dish, and my fiance got the wagyu rice box and added king crab. The box was absolutely unreal and I hope to go back to try it myself because the few bites I had were not enough haha. The pho was delicious and very rich and flavorful! They surprised us with a little ube sorbet dish that said "congrats!" which was beautiful. Overall, you must try this place if you can!!!

This restaurant was a cool experience. The space is shared with a cute ice cream shop and there was a hidden entrance to get in. The decor was very unique, elegant, and modern. The service was really good. Our server was very helpful and friendly and knew the menu very well. He made great recommendations that didn't disappoint. I wish I remembered his name ( he had glasses). The wagu was excellent and melted in your mouth. I had the miso hot pot and I wasn't really thrilled with that but the wagu, and appetizers were good.

One of the best shabu shabu experiences in Orlando! We got the sukiyaki broth which was flavorful and came with seasonal veggies. The sauces were also really good!! Don't sleep on the wagyu tartar either! You could tell they use high quality ingredients. Service was alittle bit slow because it is a newer restaurant which I am sure will improve once the kinks are hashed out! Please give them patience! Ambiance is super moody in a romantic way. For me I feel it is more of a speakeasy modern vibe and menu catered towards adults, but people decided to bring their children with them when I went!

The first Japanese hot pot in Orlando! Currently doing soft opening on a few days so not open to public yet. They have a lot of Wagyu items including Wagyu hot pot, Wagyu sando, Wagyu dumplings, and more. They also have good seafood items as well. We tried silver set 8oz wagyu hot pot, seafood set, and Wagyu dumplings. The ingredients are good, I expected the Wagyu items to be good and they sure were. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of seafood items, they are great and worth it for the seafood set. Our server was very nice and helpful. The vibe was very nice and it's fun to enter the restaurant through a secret door in Nola ice cream shop. It is pricey but that's to be expected for anything Wagyu. Overall I would recommend trying them out!

The place is hidden inside of an ice cream shop. It was casual dining vibe for all of us that night. We got 2 golden hot pot sets: Pho and Spicy Szechuan. I would rate the Pho broth to be a 7/10. Spicy Szechuan however would rank higher at 8/10. Our server did a great job explaining things for us. I thought the golden sets wouldn't be enough but we ended up having so much leftovers. We also had the Wagyu rice box and that was 9/10. Highly recommend you try the rice box! We went kinda late so we didn't get a chance to try the ice cream but maybe next time!

Silver set hot pot with udon, spicy Szechuan.

First thing first, I called Jules, the receptionist, she was so sweet and walked me through how to get to the restaurant. Entrance was so cool! Service was amazing and so was the ambiance. Don was our server and he was absolutely knowledgeable and friendly!! We got the Wagyu rice box, seafood crudo, and the silver set hot pot. Perfect amount of food for two! Quality was unmatched and world class. For sure coming back to explore the menu more!!

Omg it's hard to put into words how great the food is. I was excited to try this place and was not disappointed the place looks amazing the food was another level and can't wait to go back and have my socks knocked off again and again.

Oh my goodness, it was SO good! I could have gone back just for that dessert alone. For the hot pot, each individual soup base was flavorful. We tried the herbal broth, tom yum, and the original broth, and all three were delicious. The revolving conveyor belt was well stocked with fresh vegetables, frozen hot pot items, ramen noodles, dumplings, and other sides, and everything was replenished quickly. My kids had fun grabbing the colorful bowls off of the conveyor belt. The frozen meats, meatballs, and seafood were all good. The only item that I didn't enjoy was the scallops- not because there was anything wrong with the frozen mini scallops; they just weren't to my personal liking and didn't go well with the dipping sauce I made. Service was wonderful from start to finish, and I loved that every customer received a complimentary scoop of ice cream at the end of the meal. Great food, attentive service, and a fun filled dining experience, this place is definitely worth checking out!

Every visit here feels cozy, flavorful, and perfect for gathering with family and friends. Let's talk about the broth because that's the real star. My absolute go-to (and forever favorite) is the Tom Yum broth -- it's rich, aromatic, and packed with that perfect balance of sour, spicy, and savory. I love customizing it the way I grew up enjoying Thai hot pot by adding extra mushrooms, tomatoes, chili peppers, cilantro, green onions, garlic, and a squeeze of lime juice. The flavor becomes even brighter and so comforting -- seriously next level. The ingredient selection is another huge win. There's a great variety of seafood, different meats, and an abundance of fresh veggies, so you can really build your bowl exactly how you want it. Everything tastes fresh and the portions are generous, making it one of the best hot pot experiences in Orlando by far. Friendly staffs. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, which makes it perfect for both small dinners and bigger group hangouts. I love coming here with my family and friends -- it's the kind of place where you can slow down, cook together, and just enjoy the moment. Hot pot just hits differently during the cooler season, but honestly... in Florida weather, it's good any time of year. Juicy Pot is always a place I'll come back to whenever I get the chance. If you're looking for a flavorful, comforting, and consistently satisfying hot pot spot, this one is definitely worth checking out.

We came here first simply because the cheaper weekday lunch special, but man oh man do the flavors keep me coming back. First off their broths are amazing. You can mix your broths and they are not just flavored water either, you literally get all the herbs and spices poured into your bowl to keep those flavors strong. If you like spice I usually do half curry and half the szechuan broths. They have a bar style to serve the food and the sauces/toppings so no waiting for anything. They even have the noodles on a little track that goes around the seats which is so fun just to grab. In addition to the hot pot menu. They have an extra charge appetizers "extra selections (made when ordered)" menu that contains a hidden gem of this place. The wings!!! All of them are cooked amazingly with a juicy inside but a flavorful crunchy outside. If you do choose this option I would love to give a shout out to the Juicy 2.0 flavor. The last food thing I love about this place is the dessert. They have an ice cream cooler, but not no normal vanilla or chocolate ice cream cups. They have that ice cream selection they you probably remember getting out of an ice cream freezer in the gas station. ice cream sandwiches, those crunchy-on-the-outside popsicle and normal popsicle too. I can always only speak to the staff that received us, but everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. They were happy to explain the various broths and the different menu items especially when it came to the appetizer menu. I said it at the beginning, price-wise this place I'd say is comparable or better. If you are iffy on trying this place as your next hotpot adventure, coming here during the cheaper weekday lunch time is a no brainer with a price that is arguably hard to beat. If you're eating at the normal price, I would still say this place is going to give the best bang for your buck if you are looking for some high quality warm belly feels.

Prepare for the SPICE!…read more My husband and I love hot pot and each place we love has a speciality that we come back for. Bashu Hot Pot had the best broth -- we always get the Sichuan Spicy and the Beef Tallow, and have never been disappointed. Their broth is the most consistent in flavor and quality; if you request extra spicy, be warned that it gets intense here. The pots have a little sectioned off area that holds the peppercorns and other aromatics, and the longer the broth sits, the more those spices diffuse into the broth. My husband nearly died when he ordered the Extra Spicy and learned his lesson by the end of our visit. But, the broth is so good, we always come back for more. The selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables is fresh and varied! We've brought some picky eaters and everyone is always able to find stuff that they like. The sauce bar is also great.
