They had my SUV for three days with excuse after excuse of Land Rover sending them the wrong parts. Two months later the rear brakes were squeaking and there was an excessive amount of brake dust on the wheels and my rear bumper. When I brought it back, the mechanic said they would replace the pads and rotors on the rear under "warrantee". Without taking it for a test drive and telling me it must be the calipers not greased enough, that was the red flag! I brought it home, looked closer and saw the CarQuest stamp on the pads and the rotors were not the same as the front. I still played stupid when I brought it back for the "warrantee" replacement. When I picked up the car after they replaced the rear pads and rotors, the mechanic told me it was squeaking because my wife ran over saw dust. I went off on both the mechanic and owner, the owners excuse was they put on the cheap ones because Land Rover still send them the wrong parts. They tried getting away with until the cheap parts they put on started squeaking! Do not trust them!!

Close to $10,000 worth of damage. Was going to take it somewhere else, but a person at work recommended carstar xpress. They handled everything with the other insurance and when my car came back, it looked like I had just driven it off the showroom floor. It even looked like they had detailed it.Unfortunately got hit again, another hit-and-run on April 20. Immediately took it to carstar, who gave me an estimate, I brought the car in on Monday the 27th and I got it back after 4 PM on the 28th. Even though this was a much smaller job, they cleaned and detailed the car, again, even putting the spray on the tires to make them look brand new. I can't tell you how kind, compassionate and amazing. The team at this shop are. If you have to go through your trauma of having your need repair, you definitely need to go there. They will have your back all the way. And they do beautiful repair work.

Whatever the hubby ran over caused a crucial-looking part to fall almost completely off, hanging on by just a few wires, like the scraggly baby tooth in my 8-year old's mouth that just refuses to go. I can't tell you about comparative costs for towing in the area. (Insurance covered it, happily.) But I can tell you these folks were speed demons. We were lucky enough to have the car at home, so we didn't have to wait for help, shivering in the cold. But Lakeside Towing had such an admirably fast reaction time that I wouldn't hesitate to call them if we had been stranded on a cold, dark, stormy night.... after running over a dead body, which hubby insists he did not. Wish I'd gotten the Lakeside Towing employee's name. He didn't judge when he saw the extremely furry insides of our car (courtesy of our pup). He was patient while I scrambled to remove all the books and gum containers and booster seats and backup dog leashes we had stashed in the car. He wore a mask.
