The closest Camping World was 2 states away, so nogo there. So then we looked for local places and found RJ'S in Mystic, CT. They were great! Got us in early next day at 8:30, out by 11:30. Sean was our technician and took the time to explain everything he did, items he checked but did not need maint, and items we needed to complete later. He showed me a few things, like where the air dump valve was and a few parts we should have as spares. Very helpful and knowledgeable. He left us with a 1 page checklist of items to inspect at our regular service intervals. He was big on CUSTOMER SERVICE, a trait that is hard to find in the motorhome industry. Highly recommended, you'll be happy with their knowledge, customer service, and quality.

Needed all four brakes and passenger side mirror repair. Kevin, the owner at Killingworth Garage, was able to get the side mirror part to his garage the next day and completed all the work that same day. He also saved me over $600 from what the Honda dealer quoted. Kevin exudes competence, fairness, confidence and just plain decency. Truly relieved to have found a garage I can count on.

Perhaps I should have researched more than I did... because the shop reputation is lackluster in the industry circles, they can't keep talented techs because of bouncing checks, and parts take forever and a day because Lars isn't trustworthy enough to get them from the distributors unless he pays ahead. Both my son's truck, and my car were brought there for work... laughable results, if the safety of your child is something you are not interested in. Brought both vehicles to another mechanic who's work has been highly regarded for the past 50+ years; he was appalled by the work done when he reviewed all the receipts. Nothing was done correctly. My son almost died while on the highway because his brakes went out, his rear end was never actually connected to the rest of the truck, and all his cylinders required replacement - and I have the receipts showing the work supposedly done, that was not. My family will never again return to that pit of despair and pain, and neither should anyone else who wants to live - they are unqualified to work on anything. Please, heed my warning and find a garage who will do the work needed correctly, and stand by the work they have done wrong. In case you are unclear... Madison Motors is definitely not that place.

I've lost count of the number of little things Mike has done for me over the years, but it's a lot. He's even given me rides to and from the garage when I couldn't stay and wait all day when it needed a long repair. My car is 20+ and has almost 400,000 miles on the clock and I think Mike cares as much about my car as I do.
