This towing company sucks they have really bad customer service. The driver calls me and tells me he's gonna be here in 20 minutes. I call him several times and does not pick up my call. After waiting for him more than an hours he Texted me and saying he is at Beach & Imperial. An hour later after waiting for more than several hours he is till not here. Still waiting and waiting. So since 11 o'clock in the morning till like 3 o'clock this driver still not here. They just have horrible customer service. I guess they don't wanna make that money. He must be pushing his own tow truck to get here maybe that's why it's taking him this long. . My car was towed from my friends Townhome community in West Athens, Los Angeles. It was a Sunday, I went with my friend to collect it. I paid my fee. $425.00 . We were 2 ladies, myself Caucasian, and my friend Filipino. My friend lives on Coratina Ln. which is a gated community on a private street in West Athens. When I returned home to the SF Bay Area I noticed that my invoice had the wrong pick-up address on it. The address listed on the invoice is W 120 St. I am not sure why. The office also does not have a list of the fees posted so that we know how much they charge. I am trying to get refunded from the homeowners association, Which is another issue. My guess is that the HOA is in league with the towing company. read more

This place is garbage... Literally, it's across the street from a Waste Management center and I can certainly say I appreciate the consistency across the senses... Looks like garbage, smells like garbage, and oh yeah... the service is garbage... We arrived at 9:40 am with absolutely no other customer in sight... After being helped an hour later... NOTHING... Not sure how difficult it is to tow a car 100 feet but there must have been some unique circumstances that caused an otherwise simple task to reach "virtually impossible" status... my friend and I were out shopping I bought around 400.00 in stuff from Marshall's then we went to the mall , while inside his vehicle got repod had to wait three days for them to finally allow us to get our belongings from the vehicle , before even getting our belongings he was asked to sign a pin pad to get it , after getting home and going through all of the ransacked items discovered all the new clothes I had just bought from Marshall's weren't in the property along with lots of his personal items including his glasses to see , have went back and fourth with this company they are refusing to speak to me anymore , pretty much said that we recieved all of our property that he signed for it which wasn't true he was made to sign before getting anything , we didn't go through the bags until we got home because it was scorching hot outside and we would have had to lay it all over the dirt just to go through it . there is no accountability this company takes what they want then gives you back what they aren't interested in . they down right stole all the new clothes I had bought not even an hour prior to it getting taken . These guys are snakes and should be shut down. My car was towed on 4/21, I picked it up 4/22. When I picked up my car, the center console and seat-side pouches had been emptied and the contents strewn across the passenger seat/floor. I have two auxiliary latching boxes behind my driver/passenger seats that had been looked through as well. I have TWO wallets in there, one had been removed from the passenger-side container much to my distress. The desk attendant (John) confirmed that the car was locked when they brought it into the lot. John also said he didn't know anything about the towing process and I would have to call the tow manager, Tony, to ask about my items. But he did mention that one of his guys had seen "a wallet" in the compartment near the speakers. Tony the tow manager puts me through this rigmarole about how his guys have been with him a long time and they are all good guys, integrity blah blah blah. "It must be my mistake, I must have misplaced the item." Since he "looked at the tape on 16x speed" and didn't see anything, it must be my fault. I hit him with my knowledge of "his guys" looking through my closed compartments and moving all my items out of the center console. The story changes to how he's a hard-ass manager and would immediately fire any of his guys who were caught messing with a customer's items...now he's on my side. He then "looks at the tape" for the second time, "talk to my guys" for the second time. Eventually he calls back and gives me some useful information, indirectly telling me where the wallet was moved to, that his guy had seen it sitting above the speakers and maybe it fell into the back seat. It had been rifled through and tossed into the back trunk area of my Nissan 350. Hisham's Towing are not to be trusted, and you should do whatever you can to avoid doing business with them. read more

There has to be a law! My car was towed off of a private lot granted it wasn't registered because it was being repaired to be sold. The lot where it is usually parked was being re-striped so it was just there for a day. I received a notice in the mail stating that The police stored the car with Hisham Towing at 14201 S Halldale Gardena, CA 90249 on the 26th of June, on July 2nd I went down to pick up the car and was told that I would have to get a police release form which it was too late to pick one up. I was told then that I owed $600.00 plus the $300 to register before I could pick the car up. It's now July 3 and the fees are already over $900.00 so we decided it wasn't worth it to get the car. I decided go back to Hisham Towing to ask the guy if I can just let them keep the car as of today July 3rd so that they can stop charging me the almost $100.00 dollars a day for storage. He tells me No. They are going to continue charging me for 42 days. 42 days! Even though I asked him to keep the car and the pick slip since they are going to get the car anyway. He said that they will still charge me storage fees knowing that I am not picking up the car. Then he continues to say that if I bring my Pink slip and $400.00 he will clear it all. This is such a scam! I told him I can't afford to get the car because of the fees, they are taking the car for auction anyway I tell him, why can't they just stop charging me storage today I asked. He said that's all he can do. Take my car and bill me for 42 days of storage! This is happening to most people in the urban area, It's sad because we keep letting it happen. It's wrong and can't be legal. Who can we turn to? This has to stop. I will seek the advise of an attorney regarding this matter! Stay clear of these crooks! And if it is happening to you please tell your story! Hopefully we can stop this crime. It can't be legal! PS I parked my car on a PRIVATE LOT allocated for myself it is a PRIVATE lot for me and the other businesses who lease there! No the car was not registered yet. It was recently purchased for resale. My problem is that I was told by the Police department that all I needed was proof of insurance to release the car. They said that the fee's are the Tow companies business. The 42 days of fee's that will be charged to me even though I said that I would just give them the car is the problem. There is no blaming game here! I was not illegally parked and I do not deserve to pay $4,200.00 and loose a car to auction do to unfair business practices. I run a business and I am fair when it comes to my customers. If you are looking for an auction to buy a car. Go somewhere else. These assholes require a $200 deposit to bid in the auction but won't refund it to you until the auction is over. Now this doesn't seem like a big deal until the only 2 nice cars they are auctioned off first and then you are forced to watch 25-30 pieces of shit get sold to the highest bidder. Halfway through this hour of my life that I can never get back, the fat piece of shit staff stuffs their face while a line of angry people want their fucking deposit and driver license back. As I was getting ready to pay the gentleman, i couldn't help but hear and notice a very rude and loud customer at the next window. I don't know how these employees deal with such ignorance day in and day out. This person was trying to argue her way out of something that she obviously got herself into and tries to put the blame on the receptionist like its her fault. While I'm on the reviewing mood... gotta do another one before I forget.. I got my car impounded a couple weeks back in Gardena, and the police sent it to the impound... I called them up, and they helped me locate my car in their system and said I needed to get a release paper from the police... Anyway, got done and went to get my car with form in hand, I was surprised how helpful they were, they told me about getting the release form and to make sure I take them my insurance paperwork, and it all went smooth.. All in all, not a bad experience, gotta make sure I keep my registration always up to date, lesson learned! read more

Dealing with towing situations isn't fun, and I'm sure these guys have to deal with a lot of disgruntled people. After I had my car stolen, it was found and towed to Hisham's. It's definitely a bit sketchy to get to! However, everyone there was very nice. Picking up my car and seeing the damage was very emotional for me, but they made the process fairly smooth and were kind, from the receptionist to the business manager to another employee who works in the yard. Towing is a business, so of course the fees are going to be a bit steep. Overall though, these guys made me feel a bit better about the situation and I was in and out in less than an hour. read more

This place should be shut down. Car I bought has a lien holder. I purchased a car from auction at Hishams Towing. When I got my paper work it said Greens Towing, I was confused so I asked about it and was told they are owned by one person so basically it was the same company. I said I didn't feel comfortable with the paper work and would like my money back. They said that was not possible. When I went DMV I learned car had a lien holder( money still owed on car). When I called Hishams Alicia was very Rude and Romeo took me for a fool. They would tell me Khaled was the only person who could resolve this matter, but then tell me he's not available or not there. After 1month of calling finally spoke with Khaled and he said that he was selling the car for a friend and he would call him and see how he wants to resolve it. Khaled was more concerned about what condition the car was currently in as apposed to the fact that they swindled me out of $1900 dollars. The police station called and spoke with employees that said yes they were aware that I purchased a car from there auction and that they could resolve it very easily. Needless to say that was bullcrap. That same day another detective spoke with Khaled himself and he said I didnt purchase car from auction on his lot, that it was a private sale between his friend and I. He is a bold face liar. If you have had this same experience please report it to police. That is fraud and so far he's been able to lie his way out of it. read more

Called AAA to get my car towed from an underground garage with a very tight and steep driveway. First tow company would not even try to help me, saying it was impossible to get the car out. Called AAA again and they sent two trucks from Hisham's Towing to my location to assess the situation. Both drivers (Quebec, and Lima were the names on their uniforms) went above and beyond to help me out with my situation. Could not have been happier with their friendly and expert service. read more
