David and Michael were fantastic doing the inspection on our soon to be new home earlier this week. We had scheduled to use them when we originally thought we found our new home, but after the buyer spurned us after the verbal agreement, David's amazing company was so kind and allowed us to cancel that inspection without a fee. We clearly knew they understood our situation and we were so appreciative of them being so understanding. So obviously calling them back a couple weeks later to do our inspection for the home we knew we were buying was a no brainer. Both David and Michael were very available to me ahead of the inspection via text message and they sent me a one hour warning text for their completion of the inspection so I could come join them. As a first time home buyer, clearly this can bring on some anxiety but David and Michael both put me to ease as soon as I got there. There work was exceptional, not missing a detail and making sure to carefully walk me through every little thing the discovered during the inspection. They explained everything in a way that I could completely understand and gave great tips on what to do fix up little issues throughout the house. They never made it feel rushed or as if they didn't care. It was a wonderful decision to use these guys. The report they sent later that night was exceptional with detailed pictures, videos and explanations. If you are looking for fair, honest and caring people to take care of the inspection of something so important as your home, the only choice is these guys. I cannot give enough stars as 5 is the best option I could give, I wish there was more. I'm a two time homebuyer, and I am still not very familiar with the process. I found out about this company while home shopping and I was impressed by the detailed explanations, depth, recommendations, and good photos from calling and talking to Rachel as well as the website. I called to schedule an appointment. Rachel, answered the phone. She was professional, polite, and accommodating; she scheduled an appointment immediately. When I showed up on the day of inspection, David was already there and starting the dishwasher and other time consuming checks. He wasted no time at all! Once David had about and hour left he called to let me know so that I could wrap up what I was doing and meet him back at the house. Once I arrived David walked me through all his finding and was very patient with me with my questions as well as he gave very detailed answers and made sure I understood. The report turnaround time was the same day. The report came out beautifully collected, very clear, good pictures. David and his son Josh were very friendly and very thorough with our home inspection. I found that working with them was a pleasure. They kept me informed as they worked and gave me an overview of the different items at the end of the inspection. Their knowledge with the different builder's code and overall workings of the house was very evident. I felt very confident with their ability to find every major and minor problems with the house. David and Josh even found water leaks in the ceiling that were not visible to the naked eye. They did this using a Thermal Imaging Tool which made the wet spots in the ceiling very obvious. David said he insists on using the Thermal Imaging Tool, otherwise leaks will no doubt go unnoticed .... At the end, their report came to us within a day. It was very organized and complete with descriptions of each item they found along with digital pictures. Very easy to follow and read.... We had a fantastic experience with Michael at Hite Tech Inspections. He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. We originally planned to stay out of his way and save our questions for the last 30 minutes, but he went out of his way to include my parents during the first inspection and all of us during the reinspection, making us feel welcome instead of like we were in the way. The inspection of the home was very thorough, although I didn't hire her to do the inspection on the home I was selling, I hired her based on how she did the inspection, to perform the inspection on the home I was buying, also thorough.
