Been here a couple of times, and very happy everytime. Prices are affordable. Went for dinner recently, The wings are boom!! But the pasta was amazing!!!!! Staff is friendly and service was good. Presentation was very appealing and clean. Will definitely return for entrees. read more

Don't expect much for bar food but if you're going to sell $10 juice cocktails, should at least go all out on the food! Had wings which tasted like microwave food, only thing I enjoyed was the onion rings. Burger was dry! Ordered a round of Margaritas which tasted like pineapple juice and a round of Red Devils which looked and tasted like pink lemonade! First and last time! Very disappointed. read more

Place is nice looking with lots of potential. My second time there for food and even more disappointed this time. Ordered some pretty simple things, mac and cheese pops were dry and tasteless. The caesar salad was just a bunch of lettuce with two croutons thrown on it. We left alllll our food. Very disappointing. read more

Disappointing. No vegetarian entree options what so ever. I could only eat fries and appetizers and they won't fill you up because the fries and appetizers are small portions. I am surprised that a restaurant in these modern times aren't inclusive to the vegetarian community. It wouldn't kill them to put a veggie option on the menu. My Husband, I, our neighbor and his wife stopped in on Sunday, March, 10, at around 3:00pm during the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. We are local residents and active members of the Bronx Community Board. First let me say I will admit I as well as our guests and numerous other local residents were skeptical of the concept of HK Kitchen & Draft House. I along with several of our neighbors expressed concern this would become a rowdy nightspot. On this beautiful Sunday late afternoon the restaurant was bustling with people, the majority ages of the crowd appearing to be in the 25-45 Year old range. As soon as we entered through the heavy glass door we were greeted by a door person who introduced himself as Hal who was checking identifications. We were directed to the hostess. We decided we did not wish to wait the 15 minutes approximated for a table of four so we found an open area by the bar which was lacking chairs, approached and attempted to order a drink. One of the other bouncers must have seen or overhead us talking to the hostess as he immediately approached us introduced himself as Paul and offered us bar chairs! Our bartender was Shane. Shane approached us immediately, and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Shane did an excellent job of preparing our drinks and my husband, who is always very picky about the stiffness of his drink, was satisfied. While Paul, was making his rounds my husband Frank and our neighbors husband Giovanni struck up a conversation with him. My husband Frank told Paul that we are local residents and we are concerned about the late night noise/rowdiness. Paul said the owner was well aware of the community's concerns and that the concerns were of the upmost importance to him and have taken a high priority in all preparation meetings and have been on the forefront for all decision making regarding the late night shifts. Paul said he was employed by the owner due to his experience as a retired police officer, and familiarity with the community and local operations. Paul chatted with our husbands and us for another 15-20 mins. He addressed all of our concerns and really made it seem the owner was intent on making the communities concerns the highest priority. We stayed until about 5:00PM and sampled four/five different appetizers which were delicious! We have heard nothing but great things about this establishment so far and are happy to welcome them into our community! read more

Ok this place has the potential to be a great asset in the throggs neck community. It seem that the owner of this establishment is marketing this place as a steakhouse.went there last Friday the first day it opened and it was jammed.i attribute this to the fact that the old owner of the throggs neck clipper is now one of the managers,as well as her son working the bar. This alone will bring in a respectful crowd given the reputation they had/have in the throggs neck community.my only suggestion to the owner is to be open in listening to the feedback from the manager( she knows what she is doing) and you will have a nice family place that everyone can enjoy. Also this is my suggestion,while I enjoyed my steak,and mashed potatoes,I noticed it did not come with a salad,bread, or vegetable like all steakhouses do.if this is what the owner has in mind as far as it being a steakhouse this is a must.oh and no baked potato either. I've been coming to HK pre-covid and recently. However, today I had quite an unusual experience. I went to HK for lunch as I was craving their wings. When I got there they were setting up as they open at 2:00pm. The manager "Jennifer" went to check if the kitchen was ready. First and foremost if you open at 2:00pm why are you are still setting up? Your establishment should be ready to serve the public at 2:00pm. Things like this makes a customer look elsewhere for service. Jennifer then proceed to go to the kitchen and it took her about 15 mins to come back. So I walked up to the next restaurant over (Casa) because they were open and ready for business. However, I wanted those wings so bad I went back. When I came back I asked again "is the kitchen open?" She says "oh I didn't say anything because you walked to Casa, but yes we are open". I sat down and and ordered. The waitress was nice and attentive. I ordered a Margarita and some wings. The first margarita was great. When I ordered the second Margarita it was HORRIBLE. It was clear that they added to much lime juice and and too much triple sec. I told the waitress about it she immediately took my drink. But when she came back with no drink I was a bit surprised. She said "we will re-make the drink but if its not to your liking we will have to charge you as we cannot waste liquor". She proceeded to tell me that this was coming from her boss "Jennifer". That was ridiculous to me as if they would've made the drink correctly we wouldn't have an issue. Waste of liquor? HOW? Instead of focusing on making the drink correctly their focus was wasting on liquor. I come here ALL the time with friends, family and even by myself. Jennifer's attitude towards the situation was not appreciated. She should've came ans said something. However, she sent the waitress to say something. read more
