Came in at my scheduled appointment time with my 5 person wedding party for mani/pedi. Not enough techs to start us all at once, so two of us got started right away then two more 15 minutes later and the 5th persons 20 minutes after that. We all filled out our sheets for deluxe pedicure and all got basic. Then came manicure. Can I just say it was a disappointment and a disaster. Won't be back. I swear can't find a good place to get your nails done anywhere. I can say my nails look cool, but the shaping and filing and length is not what I kept asking for. I finally gave up. Got a pedicure here 3 weeks ago 7/19/2022. My big toe was swollen the next day and also in pain. it's not as bad now but it's still looks swollen. The woman there dug into my nail and stabbed the inside which caused an infection. I've never gotten a nail infection and rarely go to salons so I know it was from here. I honestly would give 0 stars. I never leave reviews but this was bad. I asked for a manicure and she just put shellac on my nails without doing absolutely anything else. There are parts that are missing nail polish spots, it's sloppy at best. And I also got my eyebrows waxed and tinted. I am very disappointed to be writing this update. I came here the first time, looking for a new nail salon and I was pleasantly surprised. I came 3 weeks later to get my nails filled, and made an appointment to get a fill with the same nail tech I had last time. When I arrived, the nail tech I was supposed to have was with another client & they told me I would be with someone else -- which is annoying but whatever. I showed my nail tech a picture of what I wanted, which had a glitter nail and a marble nail. She said she could do it. When it came time to paint my nails, she then informed me she would only be doing the glitter nail. I asked for classic white tip nails on the sheet I filled out. I come here about once per year, when I am visiting my folks in the area. I get a spa pedicure and sometimes a manicure. The ladies can be a bit terse sometimes and I always wonder what they are saying about us as they chatter back and forth. But they take the proper cleanliness measures, like disinfecting metal tools, lining the tub, using a fresh nail file for each client, etc. They also do a really neat and professional job. I stubbed my big toe and nearly lost the nail a while back and the tech saw that it was sensitive and just did the minimum necessary to clean the area. Their polish work is top notch and they checked several times to make sure I liked the shape and color of my nails. If I could give negative stars I would.. My sister comes to get her nails taken off and they say they can do them. They DID NOT prep her nails for being taken off, no soak, NOTHING. They just started taking them off with a scraping tool. She's saying "ow" and they're laughing at her. She's freshly 18 and just learning being an adult and did not know to walk away. They proceeded to tear her thumb nail half up with the acrylic still attached. I understand that acrylic can be hard to remove, I also get my nails done. Which is why they SOAK THEM. But this was not done. She proceeded to start crying and left the store coming to me in the dollar tree next door. I come back to the store and they are closing early so the door is locked. I knock until they came to ask why they would do this to a customer, knowing they had hurt her. They ADMITTED to not soaking it, and saying it wasn't their fault since she had "thin nails" and that's why they couldn't remove it. They left HALF the acrylic on her nail, broken, and pulled up. This place is great! I get shellac manicures and they last at LEAST two weeks, if not more. I'm on week two and my nails still look beautiful. The prices are awesome! I love the sign in system they have. You sign in, mark off what you want (and what you have), and they take the sheet of paper to give it to a technician. It's very clean and spacious. The girls and the owner are very nice. I'm not a big talker but I'm also not bothered by language barriers. The girl who did my nails didn't talk much and I actually really appreciated that. She did an excellent job. I just moved to Marysville and have been looking for a new salon anyway. A place up north I was going to kept giving me shellac manicures that would chip after a week. I don't have a problem with the manicurists that can barley speak english but this one was a tuffie. I got black and white crackle and she didn't even cover my whole nail on four of my nails. I tried to communicate with her and tell her that she didn't cover my whole nail with polish and I could tell it made her annoyed which made me annoyed because I was nice. Came here with a friend on 5/8 bc my friend got a gift certificate. The customer service was ok. We both got manis and pedia but our polish is already peeling and chipping!! Typically when i get manis they last for at least a week or 2 and my pedis last 3 or 4 weeks....so this breaks an all time record for lasting a little over 24hrs. Been here quite a few times. Have brought my husband, a few friends and such. But No More!! Today was stupid, rude and not good business practice. I arrived at noon, just as a large wedding party was leaving. Perfect timing, now they have availability. I was seated in my pedicure chair promptly. But shortly after, realized they seated me before an elderly lady who had been waiting a very long time. It was her complaint that made it apparent. Anyways, with that said they sat her and began her pedicure first. Rightly so. I sat there soaking for 20 minutes, no biggie. Finally get my pedicure, which was very rushed. Then I'm told to sit for a minute, someone will be over to do my manicure because she had an appointment that showed up. Okay. I wait. More "appointments " show up. I wait. I wait for 30 more minutes, to be told they dont have time to do my manicure. Can I come back tomorrow? Uhhh NO I cant come back tomorrow or ever for that matter When I asked for a mani/pedi, you said yes you had time. Perhaps if you had appointments, you should look at your appointment book and let me know before I wait and wait and wait, to be sent away without my manicure! I'm done. My husband quit going there awhile ago because of the wait time AFTER being seated! Then rushed through the job. Kim did an awesome job doing my nails. Before the appt started, I showed a pic of the watermelon set on their pictures posted on their app. She said no problem. BTW, the pic said Kim did them, so was excited to get it done! However, when it came to the design it is sooo off from what I showed her, from their site. I asked when she went to paint if she wanted to see the pic again and she said she was fine. Thinking since she has done them before, according to the pic, so didnt think about it being a problem. Way way off! Doesnt even come close to matching. It was suppose to be ombre effect with the pink and I only got 1 color of pink. Which not even close to an ombre look. The tips are suppose to be forest green and mine are Neon green on the tips. Tiny little dots instead of bigger dots that look like seeds. The pic shows about 5-6 seeds on a nail, I got 9 tiny pocka dots Again, Kim does the process of nails really well, just disappointed that pic that says Kim did the design but when mine aren't even close. I chose an ombré white with a little glitter. Instead I got what looked like an attempt at a French tip. I'm very upset and dissatisfied with my visit. This is the last time I will ever go here.
