I disagree with previous posters talking up Sengataki. Yes, sengataki was the sh*t and it's a shame they sold the biz but you can't judge a restaurant on what used to be there before it. Saying REI sucks because there used to be a tramway in the building is just stupid. So... this isn't chinese at it's finest. If you need something fast and cheap like your Women or Men, this is the place to go. An interesting side note, as ho-hum as their food is, their BBQ pork isn't rivaled anywhere in Colorado except for China Dragon. Great price, run of the mill food. Overall, decent. read more

This is an awesome spot if you have blemia, tasty dollar scoop goes in liquid calories come straight out! I come in probably twice a month. Like you see on other reviews, great bang for the buck. One combo is enough for two people or if you're starving... quantity of food is amazing for the price. Sweet and sour chicken needs some work on maintaining freshness, but wontons and orange chicken, yum. read more

It is pretty basic Chinese fast food. Honestly, I would put it on the same par as Panda Express. But, I do have to say that it is a little bit cheaper. If you are looking for fine dining Chinese, this isn't your place. However, if you're looking for some cheap drunk food, then grab this! When I come to cheap and fast places like this, I grab lo mein and egg drop soup. It is pretty basic, but it is very fulfilling when drunk. And it doesn't hurt your wallet! I haven't really been here to try the other things, but it seems that they have some specials that may be worth your price for a fast and cheap meal. On the menu (as of Dec 6 2015), there is a combo special for $4.60. Although I come here from time to time, I gotta say that the food here can't be great for your arteries. So, as always, eat in moderation if you want to frequent this spot. read more

For what you pay for, it's amazing. They are very generous for their combos plus you get a drink for less than $5. If you want good, less expensive Chinese food then this is it. I have been to dozens and dozens of other places that were either rude, not clean or stingy. If people complain about here then they should go make their own homemade Chinese. read more

Everything about this place is awful. Went during a winter storm when we were craving some extra cheap Chinese food. First off, the inside is terrible. They had laid down cardboard boxes to keep the floors clean. They didnt have the heat turned on and the staff was wearing coats! That is incredibly cheap imo. The line went fast and i was optimistic that the food would be okay if there was a line. I was wrong. The food was cheap but it tasted and looked terrible. I doubt they use any fresh ingredients and its one of those places you are really wondering what the heck you're eating. I will not be going again. read more

The only thing good about this place is their name (Up in the club with my Ho Mei's anyone?) Food is barely edible and half the time you don't know what you're eating, but you get what you pay for. $4.50 for a generous portion of spaghetti chow mein (like I think they actually use spaghetti noodles), two entrees, wontons, and a soda. I've ate here a couple times because its so damn cheap. Always been pretty average. I ordered the orange chicken this time and I discovered that the meat is filled with bread. Shady af! I dont understand why this place has terrible reviews. Wait, I know. This place has the worse sesame chicken/ sweet and sour chicken. I tried this place a few years back when I was first dating my now husband. It was quite awful. Subsequently, I went back and gave them another go a year later and I go here from time to time when I'm hungry and want something quick and cheap. Anyway, I've tried basically everything here and you can't go wrong with most of the stir fry dishes although I'd like to add please stay away from the beef ones. The beef is just chewy and isn't good. The chicken stir fry dishes are okay! I also always order the peppered shrimp, Mmmm! If you dont mind whole shrimp deep fried with shell and all. Astaxanthin is good for you, which is what shrimp shells have. The bbq pork is pretty good and the wontons are good too! The fried wings used to be good but now they coat them with a lot of batter which I dont like too much. The eggrolls are okay. They are like cabbage kinds which aren't tasty unless you ask for the sweet and sour sauce. This place also only charges $5 for 2 sides and rice/chow mein. Lets just call the chow mien spaghetti but it passes for a side to eat with your food. LOL. If you want a lighter meal you can always ask for steamed rice. Sometimes I cheap out and just get a scoop of happy family and a scoop of some other stir fried dish and eat it with brown rice at home. It's a place that is not that great but it isn't bad. BTW, the Ho Mei on Colorado Blvd is the second worst Chinese restaurant. Went there with my son few days ago, lo mein was a little too greasy, other then that everything was fine Server was really impolite. Didn't expect any excellent service from a dollar scoop place anyways, but shouldn't be so BAD. This young Asian lady was really impatient and roll her eye on me when I asked her what the food is. They wasn't even busy at the time. Seems like she's in a rush to kick the customer out of the restaurant There are so much more other dollar scoop restaurant in this area.
