Not all Target's are the same...This one is HUGE! and one of my favs. They remodeled the food court and Starbucks a while back and it is much nicer. The Health & Beauty section carries a wide variety of items and brands. This area has great signage above each aisle making it easier to find what you are looking for. The Target Market area is also very large with top brand dairy, produce, frozen items and more. All the workers I have come across have been friendly and helpful. This location has a Starbucks and is nicely organized and easy to navigate. The pickup orders run efficiently. This target location is one of my favorite locations. It is well stocked and it is easy to navigate to find the items you're looking for. It is located in the shopping plaza. It is a perfect spot to go grocery shopping after running chores. Staff at this location especially cashiers are nice and friendly . They greet the customers and they are friendly. I usually try to avoid the self checkout since there is always a long line. This target location like most of the other locations has weekly deals which helps to save money. For parking, I would say it is easy to find parking spot since it is located in Burbank Empire Center which has plenty of parking spots. read more

This Target is very busy. It has a starbucks inside. It also has a huge beauty area. It offers both self checkout and cashier checkout. Both lines are equally as long. The bathroom was very dirty. Nice having a Target in this shopping center. This shopping center in general is fantastic because there's so much to see and do. Parking lot is huge and this Target is a good one (stock-wise). Being a figure collector, we were surprised to find some cute anime blind boxes and even Harry Potter Cuff Cuties! OMG! Is this like the biggest target that I've ever been in? At least they have a really good selection of Marks and Spencer, I don't know how long that's gonna last cause. This is some hot selling stuff. I'm really tempted to buy one of everything cause it's so cool. But then I really don't wanna keep it and I guess I'd have to find people to give it a way to for gifts. At least they make really good gifts and then if I wanna enjoy it, I'd have to go visit them, which isn't all that bad. What an excuse to visit a friend that you give a gift to. It's like giving a puppy as a gift in going to visit your friend just to play with the puppy. But at the same time, you don't have to feed it or pick up its mess. I'm glad to layout is the same as all the other targets so I was able to find everything that I needed really easily and still was able to get around the store and browse through all the departments. The aisles are nice and wide and I didn't have any trouble finding Help. And at the end, I really was lucky that the lines weren't too long and there were plenty of registers open and help at the self checkouts. The store was clean and well kept and well stocked, which is surprising considering how busy it was. The only bummer I experienced was the target snack bar was pretty empty and a lot of drinks were sold out in the really cool Coke machine. It wasn't even all that late so I'm really surprised that so much was gone or maybe it wasn't stocked really well to begin with . We came to target to look for black shelves and we couldn't find the same ones we had bought last week. We asked the closest employee for help. His name was Pete and We told him that we were looking for a particular shelf that we had bought here two days ago, but there weren't on any on the ground. He scanned the item to see if there were any more in stock in the back, but unfortunately there weren't. My boyfriend and I continued shopping and then Pete came to let us know that they have 5 of those same shelves at another target nearby, we truly appreciate how he went out of his way to check that information for us. we appreciate the good service. Do. Not. Buy. Their. Desks. Our kid needed a simple desk. We figured we would buy one off the Target website for 120 bucks. First problem was that the flat pack package was 75 pounds. That is a huge problem because the thing is super bulky. You really need two people to lift the damn thing because it is so wide. But the worse part about it is that they ask you to put two pieces of particleboard at a 90 degree angle, and drill a 6 inch screw at precisely the right angle. With no helpful pilot holes. If you have ever worked with particleboard, you know that one false move, and you're pretty much effed. And that is exactly what happened here. So I returned this hot garbage and went straight to IKEA. There, the pieces fit exactly, and were fastened without the need to guesstimate what angle to drill a super long screw - and damaging the piece irreversibly. read more

Every target really is different; you'll never know which one will have what you're looking for until you go. The dollar section was bigger then most and I found some goodies in it, as well as heading back to the Christmas aisle which was a bit over picked but I did find what I came in for. They only have one set of self check outs open but it went by quickly. It is limited to how many items you can purchase but I did two separate transactions so I was fine. read more

I've been to this Target and Sunset Target the most. I've only had good experiences at both. The two ladies at this location last around 8:17pm pst 10.14.25 helpful and friendly at online order pickup via Customer Service. All employees have been helpful. Big store, strong inventory, great parking. Close to other retailers, movies, food places. read more

I was at target last night shopping very late. my key fell off my keychain and I lost my key several workers. No one helped me at all. I even guard and the place where you find missing items everybody did not told me I have 10 minutes to find it or get out of the store. This terrible service. They've changed the layout of this location so many times, it's never the same ecpieence. With that being said, I do live super close to this one so I'm here at least 3-4 times a week. It's bad but, I'm so forgetful that I'll forget one or two things every time and need to go back. I feel like the prices are pretty reasonable for the quality that you get. They're always introducing new items. Expanding the anime section which I really like. I get anime shirts from here all the time and quality is good. I like the makeup section too but, there's an ulta a couple feet down so, I won't bother getting it here. Store is always clean, the staff I've spoken too have all been pretty nice. I'm sad they got rid of the Pizza Hut in the food court, legit had the best margarita pizza. I used to work at this location so, I can't say anything too bad about it. Pro tip, I've been finding that if I place the order online and come to pick up, I spend less overall. Be warned, you will come for one thing and end up leaving with 100$ less in your pocket read more

Great experience at this location! I visited Electronics to buy a PS5 but I wanted to price-match Walmart. I thought they'd give me a hard time because it was $50 less and Walmart was out of stock. Nope! The associates were so friendly and willing to help me that I also ended up buying 2 games so I spent $150 more than I intended. A great staff makes customers want to shop and come back because it's a fun experience. That's exactly what these employees did. I am literally in office attire, black slacks, white sweater, and flats. However, I was the only brown person at this store. Because I was in the area, I went to this target for my first time. I purchased about $132 worth of merchandise and was just left for me to bag on my own because according to the cashier, I brought my own bags and he does not bag items in those cases. I was shocked! It has never happened to me in target or any other stores I have been to. I didn't ask for the manager because I was with my son and in a hurry and there was a line forming. I basically just said that's not right and bagged all items without his help-he did not even attempt to help me. I called Customer Service this morning and shared my experience and they said that it's not a common practice and all cashiers should be assisting all customers regardless, if they purchased a store bag or not. I love this place. It's like a physical Amazon. They take everything back no matter what you could've bought four beach chairs to the crazy discount even though they wanted the chairs that you wanted because they look more like a picnic chairs, but they have nothing in stock even though you went to different target and you end up buying whatever you could buy just so you could take with you in a small family beach day you end up sitting down on these chairs. They really horrible for the beach. I don't stand the sand. They're really not that comfortable and you're not really camping so you know what if you need a better chair for next time so you'll return them and they take them back. They don't give a shit how much sand is in it outside of it was a packed. White was not packed right as long as you have the receive of a heartbeat they'll return it back to your credit card HIGH Recommended. read more

The staff here is extremely unprofessional. They have no professionalism. Had a product that I didn't know was displayed in the store that supposedly was to not be sold until a later date, but instead of an explanation, the one manager took the item and walked away. I stopped him asking him why he was taking it away, since it wasn't explained to me, he smirked and said he can't sell it to me, when he should have done that before he walked away. To start, I have been going to this Target location for the past 1 almost 2 years? I've never had an issue until my most recent visit in the morning. Honestly would've given this a 5 star, but after my recent encounter, I'll just deduct 1. So, long story short I go to this target every other Saturday mornings. I usually go to either self check out or the cashier depending if any is available and quickest Ofcourse. So, I went to self check out since there was no line at all. I guess they put up a new rule that customers may only use the self-check out if it was 10 or less items. I was not aware of that new rule and probably didn't even see the signs before checking out. The lady that was in charge of that area, abruptly stopped me and my husband from checking out and started raising her voice when she noticed we had more than 10 items in our cart. It was my mistake and I understood the new policy added and kindly responded back with an apology and continued my way checking out using the self check out because my husband was doing 1 transaction and I was doing another because we wanted to do 2 separate transactions because we had 2 different arrangements to purchase - mind you we still didn't know about the new policy that was placed, but nevertheless we were still somewhat checking out 10 items or less because we split our transactions - with 2 different purchases AND 2 different payment methods. I responded back to the lady in charge of the self check out - mirroring her same energy she was initially giving me. I walked away and went to the cashier that was available. LUPE, I remember seeing her a lot of the times when I get checked out. She is the most kind and understanding employee I've engaged with. Customers look for LUPE. Employee's learn from her. She understands the values the company is trying to give customers. I vented to her about my recent encounter I had with the lady in charge of the self check out and she apologized for her behavior and understood both situations. I wasn't aiming for someone to side with me at all, just someone to understand that yes I made a mistake and yes she was rude for raising her voice at a customer and being rude. But after being serviced by Lupe at the cashier I totally forgot about my rude encounter I had the the lady in charge of the self checkout. read more

None of their service carts were working properly I asked someone for help to see if there was another in the back or if it could be fixed. A larger than life department store with a layout to match. The Target at the Burbank Empire Center provides all your essential needs and wants and while the customer service is personable enough it can sometimes leave an odd taste in your experience... but is efficient if nothing else. I definitely recommend self check out and shopping with a positive attitude. A few good Target Team members can and will definitely counteract the odd vibes... This isn't my goto location, but I do usually manage to find majority of what I need here. The location of items is really abstract compared to other locations... the west side of the store has a lot of small display isles in and just before clothing that are unique but not the most efficient if even more than one person is trying to maneuver about here. Seasonal holidays and weekends can feel like you're competing on a super market sweep with sooooo much foot traffic, but most of the isles especially on the east side of the store (grocery, produce, etc)... are very roomie. The Empire Center as a whole has massive amounts of parking, but the Target area definitely stays flowing for an easy in and out. The Empire Center however is definitely worth a carpooling experience and/or public trans. read more
