    Boxes blocking aisles.

This store is a mess. I've never seen so many employees working at the same time but yet there are boxes blocking aisles; probably because they are just standing around on their phones. The other stores in Round Rock and Pflugerville don't look like this. This store has to be the most unorganized one. Great representation of how lazy people are here.

I was searching for an outside planter made of ceramic that was reasonably priced. Let's call this mission impossible. Ceramic is not cheap. Most were priced in the 50 to 80 dollar range. I resigned myself to spending more than I wanted. Now to find one that would work on my patio and easy access for my cat. Yes, I planned to plant cat grass and catnip in it. Nothing caught my eye. They all looked like any other planter. I decide to walk the store more to see if there was anything I could use in place of ceramic. There were lots of discount signs for different merchandise. One area hooked me, wicker baskets. For 50% off I bought 3 square baskets. They have interesting items but most not my style. It was good to get those wicker baskets at a great price.

I like Hobby Lobby for its crafts wares, as well as some of the decorative elements they sell. This is one of the better establishments in the chain: relatively easy parking, a clean and orderly store, and friendly store people. Kudos for the well stocked seasonal goods and decorations department and the selection of silk plants, too. The only caveat I have is that checkout is badly understaffed. Put all your stuff in the cart, and then bring your smart phone to play a game of chess while you wait to check out. Pro Tip as of 11/1/17: Be sure to install their phone app before you come in, you get a 40% off coupon on one item if you show it to the cashier.

Those of you who have read some of my reviews know I love stuff. It's fun to go 'stuff shopping' and it's the hunt that makes it fun. HL is a stuff lovers dream. It carries everything from decor items to light furnishings. There's something in the store to satisfy every style. I picked up a Christmas ornament, lights, a Noel mug, Christmas cards, and other stuff. The store was packed with bargain shoppers like me. The customer service agents were friendly and helpful. What I also like is that HL offers fantastic deals and coupons. Sign up to receive their weekly coupon and view sale items.

This place is great. I started my son early on the arts and crafts. When we moved here I had gotten rid of most of my paints and anything that could leak so I had to get everything again. They have great sales. If you go in there once a week or so than you can find different sales. If you pick up stuff you know you'll use in the future you can save a bunch of money. I got some cookie cutters and I make different shapes for my little man's sandwiches for school. I also do lots of crafts with him. He has painted so many pictures. I also had him paint for presents for the holiday. Great gift not much money. He's made a wreath for his teacher for her birthday. I enjoy having him do different projects because it will get him ready for kindergarten. You can turn an old thing into something new or take stuff and turn it into art or something fun with some creativity.

    Epic anniversary gift!!

Helpful staff but not enough of them, good selection of crafts. Typical Hobby Lobby - with the advantage of not ever seeming crowded.

I had no idea this location was an actual warehouse. AMAZING! Honestly, I could spend hours here and it still wouldn't be enough. I went in on a Friday night after work and there was only a handful of ppl in the store. LOVED THIS FOR ME. When I shop for anything, I just want to look around without feeling like someone is watching me, wondering why I'm taking so long, and/or asking if I need help over and over again. I love that this was not the case here. I ran into a few workers through out the store with whom I exchanged a smile and head nod but other than that, was left alone while I perused this enormous store. I stopped in originally to look at the art work and was not disappointed at all. There were so many beautiful items to look through. Everything was nicely arranged and the store was super clean. I will most definitely be back!

We were in the shopping area and decided to pop in to look at Christmas trees. The store closed in…read more15 minutes but we figured we would see the selection and come back another day if it looked like they had a good variety. Truthfully, it had been a hard year and we wanted to do something that would feel cheerful. We parked and as we were walking in someone collecting carts curtly said "we're closed". I said "oh, it says you close in 15 minutes" which she replied "yeah well, they're not going to sell you anything." Cool. We brushed it off and walked in and two employees looked at us and one said "we're closed now, not enough time to shop." So we said "we were just going to look at the Christmas trees for 5 minutes" and the woman shook her head clearly frustrated. We walked over to the Christmas tree aisle and stood in silence for a beat. My husband turned and said "this doesn't feel joyful anymore". We could have used any of the following: kindness, holiday spirit, or anyone to simply stfu and keep their misery to themselves. Instead we were called out to rudely by two separate employees. You can keep your overpriced home goods and we'll happily find somewhere else to shop.
