That being said this store is not that impressive to me. The store is a great size, almost too big for what they have to offer. A lot of stock of the same things. During my visit I only saw two employees and they were both at the register helping customers making purchases. That's fine, however with the size of the store it seems like there should be more. Again not a negative for me just making a note. This store if you're not familiar is a bit of a hodge podge. It has some accent furniture (small accent chairs, benches , a small buffet style accent table..),seasonal decorations , pillows, mirror's , lamps, like a deconstruction of Pier 1. I say deconstruction because it's really just like a one or 2 off vs. an entire collection. Really interesting. Prices are lower than a Pier 1 or Home Goods, but they really don't have a ton or any real guarantee that what you see today they'd offer tomorrow. I also purchased Serta Soft Cool and Warm material Bed sheets throughout my browsing and price checking with comparison. Yes, this location maybe disorganized at times or messy areas of towels or other sale items but shoppers can be the reason because every time I shop here for a sale item or check on an ad item, the staff here are working the best they can and hard at times unpacking boxes to stocking shelves. While this is unfortunately the case, I must add that I do see employees out doing what they can to remedy the situation, and all of the employees I've interacted with have been friendly and helpful. The store is large, and I love their huge selection of books. They also have a very large parking lot, so there is no issue finding a spot. It's great for yard and home items, also rugs and carpet remnants. Ollie's could use some polishing, but it's still a great quick stop shop.

This store is beautiful and charming and while I did not find the perfect item for my dad, the owner was so super sweet and informative and it was a blessing just to come in and see the fountains and other well sculpted marvels. She told me the store has been in her family since 1966 and it made me wonder if my grandparents who lived in nearby Shelby Township had bought their garden fountain and Madonna statues here because I felt really at home here for some reason. Like I had been there before. When I did not find exactly what I wanted, the owner referred me to a few other nurseries in the area, where I did end up finding some items. She really knows her products very well and take the time to educate and and help you make decisions. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for garden statues or fixtures or great advice on the subject. Rooted in family history and family owned, it was refreshing to have real customer service in this self-serve world. I have encouraged friends and members of my MI family to check them out.
