The staff has always taken the time to greet me as I walk in, take a look at my RC car and help me figure out what's wrong and tell me exactly what I need to do or in some cases even show me what to do. I've had such a positive experience every time I've been here! They recently (June 2024) added some fun tracks in the back for customers to use! You can also rent the cars to use back there if you don't have your own. A suspended obstacle course, a drift track and a couple other tracks. If you are into rc cars, or have someone in the family who is, this is definitely a place for you to try out!

Now there is a shelf about half full of the same modes. Nothing to choose from that's good quality models. And the paint section has been bare since at least January of this year. It's like none of the paints or cements or primers have been replaced with new stock. I drove a half hour just to get some paints for my model car I bought, and it is very disappointing. Bare shelves, nothing getting restocked. I'm done going there. I have spent a lot of money at that store in the past, now it's just a ghost of its former self. Better off going to hobby lobby or just Amazon.

Given the choice to spend my money at a small locally owned business, I'll choose the small business every time.

The folks here are very considerate and helpful, and open to helping me bring some of my crazy ideas to life. I'm so happy specialty stores like this still exist, and I hope as a community we can continue supporting them. There is no replacement for the years of expertise these shopkeepers bring to the retail experience. There is a large parking lot in front of the store, which is convenient because the neighborhood tends to be pretty busy. And the parking enforcement can be quite unforgiving in the area.

Waited a few days and finally got an offer on my cards. Offer was ridiculously low. I said no thanks, I'll come get my cards. As soon as I said I wasn't interested Steve was rude over the phone. Tried arguing with me about the value of the cards, their condition, etc. I told him I wasn't interested in arguing and would simply come get my cards. Went in an hour later and Lo and behold, some were missing. I mentioned this to Steve. I noticed his hands were obviously shaking. As soon as I said something about the missing cards he got extremely defensive. He acted like I had accused him directly (which I did not, I understand mistakes sometimes happen). He then tried to escalate the situation, raising his voice in the crowded store and yelling at me in front of dozens of people. It was Friday night, they were hosting a game night. Steve continued to yell at me, even as I walked out. Unprofessionalism, cards disappearing, and insultingly low offers seem to be par for the course, judging by the reviews. They've got a pretty epic selection of board games, cards games, puzzles, kits and some TCGs including Pokémon and D&D. The frisbee section was also quite impressive. The place isn't massive but isn't small either. We spent like 30 minute perusing and liked what we found. The folks running the shop were very helpful and very nice. They all seemed to have played a lot of board games! Prices were where we expected them - not a discount shop, but nothing crazy.
