HORRIBLE Customer Service, HORRIBLE. This company does not answer the phone, does not call you back, and will not be responsible for your order. We ordered 100 locks FOR A SCHOOL in June of 2024, we did not receive them. We did get ahold of them in October, they said they were going to ship the locks when we pay them. We finally got back ahold of them in January and unfortunately paid them $427. YES they took the payment, NO they did not ship our locks. We have reached over 20 times and NO ONE will call us back or answer an email. WE called Masterlock, guess what, they want us to take it up with their vendor that DOES NOT answer the phone. We ordered over $1100 in locks in February 2025. They charged our credit card at the time of purchase. This is the middle of July and still no locks. They won't answer emails or the phone. Possibly a scam or the company is closed. read more

Our government business ordered 50 locks in Feb and were told it would be 4-6 weeks. Hodge Products charged our card the same day, and still NO locks, NO response, NO phone, goes to a FULL voicemail this is 8/26/2025. Just filed a claim with our CC company (NO time limit) and hopefully will get our money returned. If you charged to a credit card, you CAN file a dispute against this company and hopefully get a refund. Very poor excuse for a company. read more

I purchased over $500.00 in Master Locks in June of 2024. I never received them, when I reached out I was told they are on back order and will be shipped in 5 weeks, that happend numerous times; Finally my patience wore out and asked for a refund. I have emailed the company 6 times and still have not received my money. Don't be fooled, I thought they were an authorized supplier of Master Lock, but when I contacted Master Lock I was told they they me that they added an "s" at the end which is deceiving. read more

If I could give a negative star I would. They don't even deserve a 1 star. Order in September, first person took the order wrong, then she was let go and a new order placed in the beginning of October for 10 keys. I have been told 3 separate times my refund for the first incorrect order was in the mail, guess what? NEVER arrived. My keys you ask? Still haven't arrived and they no longer respond to my emails and you can't get someone on the phone. Currently on hold while I type this, I am first in the que and have been waiting for 18 minutes, they will hang up on me in a minute. This company is a complete SCAM!!! order locks over 21 weeks ago was promised 10- 15 week, no calls get returned, no emails get answered went to there office yesterday mid day they were closed, i went next door the Encore office they said they have not seen anybody there for months! i'm out almost $6000.00 bucks if i can't get refund, which most likely! read more

After waiting three weeks, I tried to reach out to them via email and phone to find out where my locks were. My first five emails all came back as undeliverable and the phone only goes to a voicemail. It wasn't until I went out to the BBB that I found an email address that didn't get rejected. And after three more emails, I was informed they wouldn't ship for another month. So I tried to cancel the order and those emails were not replied to either. So I left a BBB complaint. About a week later I finally got a reply stating that they just shipped them (instead of canceling.) I just got them and there was definitely some retaliation. They look like they were rekeyed returns. The boxes were barely able to hold together and they were taped and retaped. Run... it is not worth the head-ache. read more

I placed an order with this company on 10/16/23. The expected production and ship date was 10-15 business days. By November I hadn't received my product nor had I seen an alert that it had shipped, so I called customer service. I was told at that time there was a delay and it would be a few weeks. I waited. in December I called/emailed again. this time I was told it was a production issue that would be resolved by the end of January. By the end of February, still nothing. Again, I reach out to see why I haven't received my order. Now they tell me it was "an internal PO issue", they were going to expedite my order and I would have my product by "mid-March". It is now mid-April and I still do not have my paid-in-full order. I reach out once again and they tell me again of the internal PO issue and that my order was near the top of the list. I have now been waiting 6 MONTHS for my order and I have little to no faith that it will come by the end of this month as they claim. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY unless of course you enjoy paying for products you don't receive. read more

Bought some locks through the website that were not available anywhere else locally. Three local places I checked only carried MasterChinaLock products. Hodge showed it out of stock but had it dropshipped promptly and had the best price compared to other online retailers. They also did a courtesy followup call. Impressive! read more

I ordered a pair of padlocks to a specific key number (matching an existing collection of several locks) and received excellent service. This review is to highlight their proactive correction that I ordered 1 1/2" shank length per the catalog but received 1 1/8" shank length as a mistake from Masterlock. Hodge just "made it happen" to send the correct locks with no additional action after my email alerting them the situation. BTW, the special key cut takes about a month to get through the system. read more

I wanted 25 brass padlocks, all keyed the same and found Hodge Products had what I was looking for at an excellent price. I ordered the locks and received them very quickly. While checking them out I found one that was defective, rats, now I will have to jump through hoops to get a replacement. Not So!!! When I called them and explained the problem, Amanda apologized for the trouble, and said she would send out a replacement immediately. I had the replacement 2 days later. What great service!!!
