    I had an appointment for an oil change and a complimentary car wash scheduled for 11am. I was able to arrive early so I stopped in at 10:06 to see if I could shave some time off my visit. I sat and waited for an oil change and for an hour and fifty minutes. I don't mind waiting but, when I would inquire about my vehicles status it felt like I was an inconvenience. I was told there was a delay because of the increased demand for vehicle being washed. I just believe that for a service center of this size an oil change should be routine. Also the highly requested car wash wasn't that great either, I still had snow on my truck. Just food for thought. Service starts with the customer. So I get home and after the sun come out I see a big scratch on my door. I really wish I went somewhere else. People shouldn't have to deal with this kind of service from such a big dealership.

    This is a long over due feedback which must be done. Approx Jan 2nd I called my personal Insurance…read moreseeking to have my SUV look at because of a 'Minor" accident and damage I had from sliding into a curb from the recent snow storm. I asked my agent to locate the closes repair show to me based on convenience & weather condition. Thus how the connection to Freedom was made. I personally called Freedom and informed them, I would be bring my suv in for service, I also schedule in advance my rental car & the pickup to be at Freedom the same day, so that it would be a smooth transaction . Upon arriving at Freedom I went into the body shop & seeing the insurance adjuster for the shop. It was my desire to drop my keys off and get my belongs out of my suv once enterprise arrived. Marshall is the body shop adjuster and I told him where my suv was parked.. I called Enterprise to get them an update and decided to gather my belong asap instead of waiting . Upon walking to my truck I see Marshall coming in my direction and telling me, he would be inspecting the damage for my claim. Which i was pleasantly surprised to have him doing so quickly. I thank him and returned to the body shop waiting for my rental. Thus you can imagine my surprise, that within mins of me returning so was the adjuster. He rudely yelled on the shop floor, informing me and other customers that my suv hardly had any damage and my rental wouldnt be covered. WOWOW I couldnt believe how unprofessional he was and choose not to respond back promptly because I was pist, and needed to finish up with my rental car because they had just arrived. Therefore I went took care of my rental and came back to freedom . So when I came back , I immediately went up to Marshall and asked him "who the hell do you think, you where talking to" I informed that he fraudulently finalized my insurance estimate and I was going make sure my insurance company ,his employer and The national insurance crime bureau where made aware. I left him know that I felt profiled based on my attire and had he reviewed my insurance policy, he would have noticed I have state max coverage and that I dont have time to waste with false claim. The original estimate that he provide was for $400 worth of damage which was paint. The final cost of my actual damage was almost $4,400 not including the car rental. He never placed my car on a lift nor test drive to verify my concerns . My rotors,brake pad, and controlling system was all damage do to my accident & had to be replaced. Had I took my suv and didnt demand additional inspection I could have been killed because my truck was unsafe to drive. I worked with Steve Carlise the body shop Manager and had a meeting with the CFO & Senior management staff about how bad this really could have went. My Regional Manager for my insurance company was directly involved with ever step. It took almost a month for me to receive my truck back safely... It's scary to think , had I not had a background in automobiles and didnt demand for my suv to be looked at, would I be alive now?????? The team did take care of my insurance deductible for my inconvenience but they got off very lucky, because of the women I am... This Corporation could be facing a huge lawsuit & criminal charge due to their negligence. In additional Marshall being criminally charged & facing a personal lawsuit from me.

    I am very skeptical of the necessity and value of any work done here!…read more Located at Route 22 and mountain road, this place is conveniently located. We take 1 or both of our autos here for regular maintenance (oil, tire rotation, etc). Twice recently we were told that we needed major work at fairly high price tag. The first time, instead, a family friend mechanic performed the repairs for 10% of the Freedom quote. It WAS a problem and did need fixed. Fair enough. Second time, we were told that our 2002 echo needed brake pads, rotors and 'splash shields' in order to pass inspection. 370$+inspection costs. Normally this would be ok, except that less 2 months prior, this auto was taken to the family friend mechanic in western PA (note that not everyone has emissions, so the western PA mechanic couldn't actually inspect it, just prep it) for other work that would have been required for inspection anyway. He checked the brakes and said they were fine. Its possible that some debris or water has wreaked havoc since, but...I'm skeptical. We are planning to request photos of the 'required' work, but not sure if they will honor that. I'll update this review if evidence disagrees. Review of service department only.

I asked who was in charge of service and then finally one spoke asking if I had an appointment. I said no but just here for an oil change. He told me they have 70 appointments ahead and I'd have to come in another day... There were no cars coming and there were no cars so 70?! I'm like for an oil change? When you guys close at 7? Whatever made an appointment came in and again the employees are super nonchalant no customer service etiquette just standing there. Finally get checked in. After 2 hours get approached by the guy saying I'll come and get you in a bit your car seems to be done. I get a text saying my car is all done. 30 mins go by and nobody comes to get me. I take it upon myself to just go up there. I'm standing there and my car isn't ready. They don't know where they left my keys... They are scrambling around looking for my keys... Finally the cashier had my keys hidden somewhere... They just hand it to me and my car is out on the lot. I'm like you guys aren't going to bring my car around? "No" When they had brought another lady's car around for her.... The customer service is terrible. The dealerships on the west coast are so much nicer. Mind you I'm in a 2025 vehicle and they are over here losing my keys... Yeah all the other reviews saying the service department was bad were CORRECT

I like to stop in…read moreon Sundays so I don't get pestered by sales people. 3 times now they did not have on the lot vehicles listed on their website and no, I did not miss it, I checked all of their lots and even the one by the church. it takes 2 seconds to remove a vehicle from the website. not wasting any more of my time there and based on the reviews, seems like you should stay away away anyway.

    I spent a lot of time researching for my first car I was going to get with payments attached. I was…read moreso excited to have a car with power windows for once. After researching I found that a Mazda3 would be my best option. With terrible credit at the time I was pretty short on financing options, but I decided to give Manheim Car King a try. I test drove a blue mazda3 and when home to deliberate. When I came back the dealer convinced me it was this grey one i was driving, I swear it wasnt. But after much questioning and some cocky guy in the office figuring out my financing and up selling me the shittiest warranty ever, I dropped $2000 on a down payment and drove off the lot. ONE week later, I heard a knocking. It got louder and louder, I took it to a mechanic and when I told them I just bought the car they told me to turn right around and go back - the engine is shot. Honestly, if I knew a little more about cars I wouldn't have bought a Mazda3 with a hitch on the back installed as this is not a towing car, but I digress. I took it back and they refused to help me. Refused to trade in or return. After screaming in showroom and telling them I would smear their name all over the internet they said I was "one tough cookie" and decided to pay for half my repair. Still cost me little over $800. 3 years later I have replaced the normal wear and tare, on top of a new TRANSMISSION, ENGINE, CLUTCH, STARTER, and the A/C doesn't work anymore. To name only the main things. I thought I was getting a great deal at $6000 - but with interest and repairs I have spent more then I would care to admit on this piece of shit and refuse to do anymore. I am now looking for a new car - and my advice to all of you is to not only research the cars you want, but the place you are getting it from. DO NOT go to a place that gets their cars from auctions if you can afford. Its a crap shoot and I'm terrible at gambling. The only thing this place did for me was get me a high interest rate loan that then repaired my credit a bit so I can now trade this hunk in. I still owe on the loan - but its so bad I'd rather cut my losses and be done with it.

They have two lots, and when I was interested in a car at the Manheim location, they brought it up to Harrisburg for me to test drive the next day. I drove off the lot in a beautiful low mileage used Audi. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership treated me with respect and I felt they were honest and truly helpful- sort of the opposite of the stereotype of used car salesman. They earned my loyalty and my praise, so I wanted to recommend them to others. These are good guys who really want to put you in the right car for a decent price.
