I had to interrupt to ask again for an estimate or any information for that matter. He let his own personal experiences with insurance companies dictate how I was treated. He told me he doesn't need my business and shooed me away like a fly. He also told me that he refuses to call insurance companies back because he feels it's an "insult to his intelligence" on pricing. If you have Progressive, steer clear. I will say his wife, Kathy, who was also working the office at the time, was very nice and helpful and did apologize on his behalf. But here I am two weeks into trying to get my car fixed and I get to start all over. Thanks Franklins!

I called Kiefer for a tow and they took my car back to their shop after hours saying they'd fix it as soon as possible. By the next day they knew exactly what was wrong with it and told me a price for the repair plus the tow. I was quoted 450$ which for what needed to be done was a fair price. I go to pick up my car today. The car was in tip top shape and they only asked me to pay 350. I have never gone to a mechanic that charges well UNDER the quoted price. Car drove home perfectly. No fuss no issues. To those who call this guy a con artist, I have no reason to believe this shop is anything but honest and fair. The price was cheap and the work is solid. If I need preventative maintenance I will make the 50 minute drive to come back to this shop. It's hard to find honest folks and that's what these guys are. I will be back.
