There's no words that can describe the terrible service I had at this place. I brought my car in (22 Mercedes E53) to swap out 4 tires. The day before I had the car cleaned, and detailed. When I came back to pick it up, they place 2 dirty tires in my back seat, leaving behind marks, and dirt. The technician didn't care to place a protective paper on my carpet causing dirty brown mark from his shoes. No consideration, no professionalism. Simply doesn't care. read more

Lazy / poor customer service / 1 clear lie. I won't be going back. Took in my car for a new tire, got it back missing the center cap off a different wheel, they made no effort to find it. Just said, "it must have been missing already." (It wasn't, I checked all my tires before drop off to make sure nothing else was needed.) I checked to make sure my spare was returned and it was in upside down and not resecured. When I asked why the answer was "we get a lot of different cars in here. We don't always know what to do." Straight out lie, it could not be more common to have a screw to hold your spare in place. With Lots of other options in a half mile of this shop, I won't be putting up with their service again. Update: I went back Saturday bc my tire was going flat. They mentioned this review and "didn't charge" me to fix the low pressure sensor in my tire. Went in for alignment and tire change over got charged for all service and tire service but no ,none ,nothing ,ziltch ,work was done, even asked while checking out if the front end alignment was done an he said" yup" all work was completed but about an hour after i left received an email that the work was not done? Because i had a broken front spring!!!! Really just got the car inspected and all shocks were replaced but these guys spend little more than a minute but got paid full price to do the work but couldn't or did not want to tell me they did not do any work on my truck!!!!!! Took it to my buddy garage to have him check the front springs. Guess what he found, nothing!!! Everything was fine. Then when i called the manager he said " I was in the bathroom " so I didn't know this had happened, called the corporate office in Woburn 8 times no one returns calls. If you can go somewhere else I.E...town fair ,dracut tire ,even three stooges garage, at least you will know what your getting . read more

I've been to Hogan several times. Its convenient to where I live. The last time I bought tires there they failed to tighten the lock bolt (requires a key to remove the bolt) on one of the wheels. They eventually replaced it with a replacement Honda locking bolt but not until I complained and returned several times. I was just there today to buy two new front tires. The manager said he could only put the new tires on the front if the rears were not worn. I understand the safety issue he said was the basis of his advice. I asked him to tell me before mounting. He came back and said he'd mounted the new tires on the rear and I'd have to return for new front tires. None of my tires were worn to the wear markers. I'm sure that they would have been perfectly fine on the rear. He also didn't do as i requested and allow me too make the decision before mounting the new tires. I think it was his 'I know better than you attitude,' that pissed me off the most. Lastly, the charge for mounting was $54 for two tires; no bargain here. On the bill was a $6 charge for rim cleaning? I'm sorry but this seems like nickel and dime'ing to me. I'll look further for new tires then next time read more

First I walked in and was asked if I had an appointment...didn't know I needed one to ask a question. But okay. Covid. Just look, do I need tires or not? He looks says yep. Come back in a hour. I come back realize the man at the desk isn't the one I normally buy from, as I (used to) buy all of my tires from here. States hes been here at least a year and that I indeed needed 4 tires. Then goes into an office. Another man appears and starts asking questions. Before I can answer said manager pops out and tells him ' what I need', I continue to try and talk to this man behind the desk and he just walks away not once but TWICE while I was asking questions. When I say out loud, where'd he go? I'm still talking ....manager pops out again to say he is looking in inventory ....again I have not told you what I wanted and have not agreed to anything. This man doesn't know what I want and has walked away from me as I was talking twice. Then tries to sell me 3 Bridgestone tires bc my spare was that brand...which it wasn't. Which he would have known if he hadn't walked away from me while I was asking questions. This used to be my go to place...recommended my family members. Never again. Please don't talk down to your female customers. 2020 sucks but gender equality has been a thing for a long time. Please keep up if you want business. read more

Horrible experience. went back to have brakes checked from work they did a few months ago. Supposed to open at 7:30am. Was there at 7:15 because manager always early. Mechanics all showed up but no manager. Waited until 9:15. Still no manager. Mechanics all left because they didn't know what was going on. Manager shows up at 9:20. Fine. Now they will take care of me? Not so fast. The manager Mike tells me that they can't see me, even though he had the mechanics heading back, and that I would have to leave the car. Waited over 2 hours to hear they couldn't take me. Not another single car waiting and they tell me to leave it. Went to NTB right down the street and they took care of me in 15 minutes. Other customers that showed up while manager was missing in action went to NTB as well. They lost several customers permanently today. I guess change in management isn't always good. read more

They know what they're doing and their recommendations are purely suggestions (they don't pressure you into any fixes). I have been bringing my cars here on and off for about 6 years. I have never been disappointed. The oil changes are fast and reasonably priced and they don't try to sell you things you don't need to pad the bill like some other places do. On a recommendation from someone, I took my car to a different place in the area for wheel noise, they told me there was nothing wrong with my car. I took it to Hogan for a second opinion and they took the wheels off (the other place didn't) and discovered that I needed new brakes. Problem solved. I highly recommend Hogan to everyone. read more

I do not usually do reviews but felt compelled in this case to give kudos to Hogan Tire in Lowell. Late on the night of July 7 I was driving from home in NJ to a hotel in Lowell, MA on the way to my nephew's wedding in NH. somewhere in Connecticut the tire pressure monitoring system began to report low air pressure in the right front tire. I made it to the hotel that night and figured I picked up a nail in the tire and would get it plugged the next morning. The next morning I went to Hogan Tire, explained the situation and mentioned that I had to go to a wedding that day up in NH. They brought the car into the shop immediately and assessed the situation. The good news was that the tire was fine. The bad new was that one of the ubiquitous potholes hit the night before cracked my alloy rim. Hogan put me in a rental car through their partnership with Enterprise at a very reasonable rate. While I went to the wedding, they sent my rim out to be welded and completed the repair that day. After the wedding I drove back to Hogan, dropped off the rental vehicle and picked up my car after business hours. The repair was well executed and I drove back to NJ that night. Not only did Hogan do all possible to help me out, they did the work at a very fair price. Reality was they could have charged me just about anything they wanted as I was in a bind.
