DO NOT GO HERE UNTIL YOU READ THIS!!!!! it started with a call early in the month of February where I called and asked if they can replace my ignition switch and key The lady on the phone said yes, they can fix it and then I asked her to type me up a quote so I can have a general idea of how much it's gonna cost and they give me a ridiculously good price and I was so ready to pay for it and get this over with. Then finally three weeks later I finally get to my appointment and leave my car there overnight so that the next morning they can start on the car when they were supposed to then they tell me they're gonna keep the car an extra day until the next day because they were still working on another car, even though I had made an appointment so I let them keep it for a whole Nother day and then I get a call the next morning with them telling me they can't do the service because they would have to reprogram the ignition switch and key and I told him well Why was I even waiting three weeks for this service then if you guys can't even do it and he said I dont even have a way to reprogram a key, which is so stupid that is the whole point of getting ignition switch I would have to get a new key that's reprogrammed to the new ignition switch so at no point in time should I have even entered that shop even tho they told me they would be able to do it, and then after that phone call I called back and asked them if my room roommate can go pick up the keys and they said yes and then they also for some reason mentioned that if anything that happens to the car its not their responsibility so I asked them Why are you saying that did you break something on my car and she replied no. so I had my roommate go pick up the keys they gave him a hard time to even get the keys even though I verified his name and who will be picking up the keys and then I finally get my car and towed it to the next person who's gonna be fixing my car and I noticed that my driver side mirror is loose and they used to be electric mirrors that fold but now the driver one doesn't fold anymore when I lock the doors This has been an absolute horrible experience. I would never suggest you go to this place unless it's to change a headlight cause that's probably all they can do I have no idea why they call themselves specialists, but can't perform simple tasks nor do they even have the right scanners and tools to do so and to top it off they can't even be honest that they broke my mirror so I will be filing a BBB report to get this taken care of in anyway possible. read more

I brought my car down from Santa Fe to Hogans (recommended by the mechanic at the shop in Santa Fe) about a year ago for a problem that the dealer couldn't even fix after I had almost given up on it. They fixed it plus a few months later they fixed another problem that the other shops had wrong. They are really nice and always look at my car till they figure out what's wrong. I took it to them for a tuneup and it was a lot cheaper than other places. They just charged me for what they did. And my car has been lasting and lasting with over 300,000 miles on it. I have a 2004 F150, we live in Placitas NM where there is packrat problems that has gotten worse over the years. The truck has been parked mostly outside but recently I found that the rats have been nesting under the hood. I tried to clean it myself but not much luck. Had to have it towed to Hogans garage, they did an excellent job even trying to save me some monies by cleaning the throttle body which did help but still was a problem so I asked Geno to just replace it and now everything is fine. These people are thieves and didn't do anything to fix the cars problems. We had to take back the vehicle 3 times and they had it for a week each time. They stole stupid shit like a necklace from amazon, Rosary, a school, and beats with the case. I know you should never leave valuables in vehicles but these items were in the truck hidden unlike the necklace and rosary that was on the mirror. Horrible service and thieves. read more

"TAKE IT DOWN" "once work is complete" My caregiver was in the shop paying for my van that you held hostage for payment of my truck which you had not even completed to my satisfaction. Even though the insurance company had already paid you for the van. I am not taking down this review only adding to it. You made me jump through so many hoops as a disabled individual you're so you should've taken these things into consideration. And, as I stated before she could not get work done at that time you should not of excepted it. I will give you this credit the van is finally working to my satisfaction as far as I can tell. I will give it a few weeks and then I hope that nothing goes wrong. The truck you left out in the weather and it has a $6500 brand-new paint Job. Then you have the nerve to say that I can't afford the $1300 when you're the one who said you would eat the $300 because of your mistakes. You need to burn how to be more honest with people. I got to Albuquerque (from Colorado) with an air conditioner that wasn't working.... not going to be good in Albuquerque in May. Also we had a check engine light that had been on since we had bought the car and we had given up on getting it fixed. Anyhow, so I asked around and found out about Hogan's. I must say the service was incredible! He fixed everything. My car is in better shape than it has ever been. If you have a chance to buy a Volkswagen, pass. But if you do, you will need Hogan in the near future. We own a 2004 VW Passat that recently developed a drain on the electrical system. Hogan and his team are magicians and found the problem. He is honest, quick and affordable. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand but if you make the mistake and need help call Hogan. I'm sorry to have to write this. I have had fair service from Hogan in the past. The diagnosises aren't always spot on but Hogan always made good on it. This time I got charged 2 hours (187.00 and change) on my daughter's car for a diagnosis of wiring harness plugs gone bad. My daughter couldn't afford the $900.00 estimate to fix it, so Hogan told me which ones to jumper around to fix all the PCM codes. I spent 2 terrible days under her dash doing a bunch of work that turned out to be totally unnessesary and didn't fix the problem. The person he has working the front desk was rude and unhelpfull as he acted like I was just a sponge trying to get free info from them and I should have to pay more for their expertise. Although Hogan had promised to flash the PCM after the wiring was "fixed", his front desk refused to make good on the pledge, refusing to believe that Hogan had made such a promise. Some expertise! As it turned out the PCM he put in not too long ago was bad. After huge frustration (and my wife and daughter wanting to throw the car out) I went to a yard and found a new PCM and viola! All fixed! read more
