8 minutes ago I paid over $2600 for a move with in five miles. They told me they were bringing 5 guys, they brought 4. The fourth guy was very sick (during Covid) and couldn't do much of anything. I got stuck paying for the 4th guy and it took drastically longer than it should have because the guy was too sick to do anything. My biggest beef if that the guy dropped and broke my brand new mirror, not even out of the manufacture's packaging yet. I had just paid $315 dollars for it. The owner said he would take it and have it fixed and bring it back the following week. He has ignored all of my calls and messages. The mirror is a Christmas gift and I want the mirror back so I can fix it myself as it cannot be replaced. They also put tape on the front door threshold and I cannot get it off. It was a brand new construction and this is the first thing you see when you walk in my door now. He said he was going to come back and take care of it but again he has ignored all calls and messages for the last 3 weeks. I am extremely disappointed in their service and respectfulness. These guys are the best! If you want movers without drama and actually know what to expect moving day this is it! My family collectively had used them approx 7 times and each time was a beautiful experience. I needed 6 to 8 large pieces of furniture moved. Found out through a lot of research that most reputable companies will require a 2 to 3 hour minimum for making such a move. Of all the companies I contacted, this one had the best rate. So, I booked the delivery. I added about a dozen or so boxes to my load. They arrived close to the time I asked for (Friday evening after 4) and they had the job done in 2 hours 2 minutes. They managed to get all my furniture to my new home and in place, saving me money and saving my own back. The only negative thing I have to say is the man working with the crew leader was not very good on his end. BUT, the crew leader was fantastic. I would recommend this moving company for anyone else who is moving. By the way...they are out of Mesa, but don't let that stop you. I moved from South Glendale to West Glendale....on a Friday. We hired 3 movers and it took them 2 trips for a total of 8 hours. It took them two hours longer than our first movers and we paid over $300 more. We would have used the first company again, because they dissembled our furniture, but we couldn't reach them. Anyway, Jim and Vince did a good job from Hogan's Moving, but Paul (who had a teardrop tattoo) was in our bathrooms several times with diarrhea and made a mess in one of our bathrooms, which is just gross. He was drinking a lot of water and it's my guess he was drinking the night before too. It's not the memory or mess we wanted in our brand new house. Before hiring Hogan's Moving, the owner agreed to hook up our washer and assemble the disassembled furniture from our previous movers, which was greatly appreciated. However, it was not communicated with the movers, so it was a little awkward. Also, there were scratches on some items that weren't there before and one of my new tables got cracked on the bottom leg. :( When the owner reached out to me about writing a review, I was hesitant because I didn't want to leave a negative review. I was honest with the owner about what happened with Paul and the minor damages. He said thanks for letting him know, but there was no apology. He knew who made the mess in the bathroom and said he was recently hired when he was out of town. I felt like it was an excuse. Then, he made a comment that his movers said the job went flawless and maybe that's why I couldn't reach the other moving company. He didn't want to point fingers though. That was insulting to me. He was basically saying the other company didn't want to work with me again because I complained about what happened. I am not sure how else that comment could have been taken, but he said that's not what he meant. I did not appreciate his comments or response. Oh, but he did say let him know if there's anything he can do. I guess I should have told him to replace my brand new table and to hire a housekeeper to clean the nasty toilets his employee left behind. I contemplated for a couple of weeks about leaving a review after our move, but this experience just didn't sit well with me. I don't expect perfection, but I do think most, if not all of those things, could have been avoided. We have moved many times over the years and I never experienced anything like that. I don't want someone else to experience what I did with Paul, if he still works there. read more

Jerry and his partner are cool to work with but I am very upset with the communication and price. They originally charged $75/hour with a 3 hour minimum. So when they guys arrived we were told based on our large pieces of furniture and boxes it would probably take the whole 3 hours, maybe even longer. We agreed because we wanted all our stuff moved obviously. But 5 minutes later Jerry said if they continue to take all the "big stuff" and the "little stuff" like smaller boxes, we would go well over 3 hours and the price difference would be significant. We told him that whatever it takes to use just the 3 hours, do it. So he said he wouldnt take the small stuff then to keep it under the 3 hours. We trusted him and after 1 hour of moving he said we needed to start driving so we could have the travel time (15 min) and unloading time left. Well then they took a 10 min break which we thought was deserved. And after they drove to our new place and unloaded, we were only at 1 hour 45 minutes used. I was told they charge a 3% fee for paying using card so I went to the bank, got cash, and returned to the guys waiting in the truck. WE STILL HAD 50 MINUTES LEFT OF TIME. We expressed our disappointment of being misled to think we "didnt have time" to move our small stuff when we actually had PLENTY of time! Jerry told us its the same price regardless of how long it takes. We wanted them to go back to our old place to load the rest of the small stuff in our cars at the VERY least but they did not. So we paid him in CASH and asked for a receipt which he told us we would need to call the office and get an emailed invoice. Yikes. So not only did we pay for 3 hours, only get 2 hours of service, but now we have no record of our payment. Update: their office rep said the 3rd hour is not for labor, its for their own travel time to get to us...which is really strange considering their quote says "$75/hour of services and travel is included". Not clear, very misleading, and so was the verbal communication. Just know youll only be paying for 2 hours of labor and 1 hour for them to drive to you. read more

Moved locally from a 3600 SF house to a two story house and these guys were fabulous. They packed everything including delicate Knick knack and China, and everything was intact when we unpacked. They moved some very heavy furniture and gym equipment up to the second story and did nit mark a wall or door or anything. They were the most professional movers I've ever had and I highly recommend this company. read more

This company is terrible! Poor customer service, argumentative and don't show up when they say they will. I started out with a three star review because while they got the job done it certainly wasn't the best interaction. Now I've changed it to a one star because the owner saw my review and saw that my name was attached to a business and decided to retaliate by giving my business a bad review when he had never contacted or used our service. He also decided to call me to argue with me and texted me multiple times trying to make me take the review down. He said he'd take his down if I did but I believe his potential customers have the right to know what they're getting in to. Goes to show you the character of this company. I was referred to Hogan's Moving by a family member. I called and set up for them to come on Friday. I was told they'd be there between 12-2. I waited around all day and nothing. Called twice and no answer. Even left a voicemail no callback or anything. Thankfully I still have a little time before I have to be completely out of my place. I had to find another company that can move me tomorrow. I would not recommend them to anyone. My family member was shocked and felt bad. read more

Jerry and Patrick just finished up moving our 3 bedroom house. What should've taken 6-8 hours was done in 3.5. Theses guys hustle! Non-stop in 100 degree weather, not a wasted step. We were pretty well organized with almost everything in boxes. The only rest they got was on their drive between houses. They even offered to hook up our washer and dryer for us. We tried to hire someone off Craigslist when we 1st moved down here, but they never showed up. Trust the reviews and pay a little more. These guys made up for the little extra I paid by being quick & efficient. I would definitely use them again! read more

I just got a new job out of state and was super stressed because I had less than two weeks to move all of my things from my 3 bedroom, two story home in Laveen while still working full time. Right from the get go, Christina with Hogan's (Long Haul) was extremely responsive, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. She and her team even met with my parents for a walk-through of my home and belongings while I was at work tied up with my current job. Not only was their assessment of my total cost more than fair, but they worked with my crazy schedule to meet my needs!!!
