Im not sure if they are paying for reviews or if my situation was a fluke, but I cannot express how aweful they have been at every turn.. Nothing like their reviews suggest. 1. Trash Dumping: After they replaced my electrical panel they filled all my trash cans with the trash, including my recycling bin - with construction trash that would get rejected. I had to pull all of it out when I found it several days later and make them come back and get it 2. Communication / Coordination: After the panel replacement there was coordination required to get inspections and stucco done. I had to hound them, they were not responsive, dragged their feet. Every time you call you get a different person and they put a buffer between you and the project manager so you cant ever reach your project manager directly. 3. Work Quality: We had to run a new ground wire and install new ground rods. They did the bare minimum to make them code compliant, leaving me with sketchy metal spears sticking 5 inches out of the ground. I told them this did not work for us because we have young kids running around. I needed the GEC run below grade and the ground rods inside valve boxes. All of this was approved by the inspector. The way they moaned and groaned... They stopped returning my calls and sent me a $2000 f-off quote to change the ground wire. 4. Payment: They requested final payment before the job was done. I told them I would not pay in full until the job was done, we agreed to leave $500 on the balance, they sent me a new payment request and I paid it. Then after paying I realized the new request was actually for the same number. So I paid in full without realizing it. So I have now paid in full, I have sketchy rods sticking out of my yard, open stucco around the panel, they dont take my calls and I have to hire someone else to come finish the job. Honestly up there with one of my worst experiences with a contractor.

After the modern breaker panel was installed, they patched/repaired our stucco and painted it to match the house - We can't even tell anything had been done. They even left me the leftover paint matching our exterior. The work is excellent all around. Most importantly - I accidentally overpaid Ismart by $1000, and the owner contacted me to inform me of this, and promptly refunded me my overpayment. Not only do they do great work, but they are good people. I can't recommend them enough.
