I needed to correct some indoor wiring that I messed up stupidly. Tradesman Electric had done major work on my place before and I was impressed with their professionalism and patience with me. Their response time to my call and message was on par with competitors. They also worked with me to get someone out within 24 hours. I received text alerts to my electrician. Wes came, and I remember him from his previous work in updating our meter panel. Wes was kind to my kids, my dog, and was patient and clear in discussing the situation and correcting the problem. After correcting the wiring, Wes went through and verified that all was in order, and since there was a some time left, asked if anything related remotely to the problem needed looking at. They came out the next day, with great communication (automated emails and texts to let you know when to expect them), they fixed all the items and the payment was super simple using a digital payment. Getting The Quote: We called to set up someone to come by and give us a quote. We were told "Reed will be there between 11 AM and 11:30 AM". As this is not our first rodeo, we thought sure, but don't you mean 11-4? Nope. At precisely 11 the doorbell rang and there was Reed. He was ready to listen and note everything we wanted to accomplish. Add a new Sub Panel, 2 EV Car Chargers, Add new dedicated circuits, and so on. Not a small list but he took it in stride and offered some insight into what the project would really entail while keeping it simple enough (even for me) to understand. Reed said he would get the quote back to us quickly and sure enough next day we had the quote. Prices came through and seemed fair when compared to others we had received. We took the next available start date. Starting the project: We were told "Reed and the Crew" would start arriving at 7:15 and be ready to work by 7:30. Once again, YEAH RIIGHT, now pull the other one. As before we were wrong at "The Crew" started to roll in at 7:15, all present and accounted for. We didn't hear a "Oh so and so is running late, yada, yada". Nope they set right in to work as scheduled. Yeah, it was like 8 guys working in complete synchronization. You know that kind of harmony that only comes from everyone knowing where they need to be and what they should be doing. In other words, truly knowing their trade. As the day passed, we were amazed at not just the progress but the quality of work being done. Everything was getting checked of the list. Follow-up: There were 2 items that remained to be done. Did we need to track them down no, of course we didn't. Because they called the very next morning to setup a return visit once the parts (That we ordered, not them, us. The actual EV charger units.) would be delivered so we wouldn't have to wait any longer to enjoy all the electrical goodness that had been bestowed upon us. The city of HB requires some very specific electrical testing for you to pass finals. I had four different electricians out to my property that had no idea how to do the work the city was requesting. 4! Four different people/companies had the title of ELECTRICIAN on their vans and business cards, and they were clueless. Literally, it felt like a twilight zone episode. After calling dozens of electricians and getting the run around I'm so glad I finally called Tradesman Electric. They were the only company that had management and employees experienced enough to problem solve and get us past our final inspections. It's been a few months now, and I'm finally able to write this review. First off, my wife and I bought our first home back in October 2022. It definitely need a little help, since most everything was outdated. Now the stereotype is that when you make an appointment with a service person, they say one time, but show up hours later, unprepared and uncaring. This is not the case here. In fact, far from it. These guys, 3 of them, showed up on time, and ready to go. They were respectful, honest, and efficient. I showed them what and where, and they got right to it, not missing a beat. I was quite impressed. Got to learn a little something along the way too while I watched them work (as long as I wasn't in the way). After words, they cleaned up EVERYTHING and left as if they were never there. It was absolutely incredible. So yeah, I'd recommend them if you want someone on time, does their job, and leaves with it better than it was. Thanks guys! read more

The Technician, Reed, was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes and had it fixed 20 minutes later. Carl and Roberto are great!! It was a big job to put direct line 220 power to our new electric oven. Roberto found a water leak from our water heater under our manufactured home that we were not aware of and temporarily eliminated the problem until we could get someone to permanently repair. They were prompt and diligently worked from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm to do the job right. The outlet was placed so I didn't lose any storage space above the new oven. After having a new oven installed, there was a need to change out a circuit breaker. Called Tom for help and was very impressed with the professionalism of the first call. It was clear that Tom wanted to make clear exactly he would do and other possibilities that could arise. He told me up front what the minimum charge would, which I really appreciated. He arrived exactly at the time he said he would, diagnosed the issue and switched out the breaker in 15 minutes. He will be coming back next week to install an under counter light and he will be invited back whenever other electrical need arise. I can't say enough good stuff about this company. Our breaker box was old and the circuit breaker handles were falling off...we needed to get it replaced! Called for a quote, they came out quickly, gave the best quote of all the other companies and they started the job the day after the city gave us the sticker to proceed. Far beyond blown away how awesome Jerry did today, making sure our new outdoor outlets were exactly where we needed them. Together we figured out where and how many outlets to use, and he even did some super cool pimped out move to make one outlet half always on and half controlled by inside wall switch. That way I can put some killer hanging light outside, plus use outlet for Sonos speaker for entertaining our guests with rock music. Also Jerry helped me with another outlet in bedroom for wall mounted TV. He cleaned up every speck of dust with his vacuum and was super polite and cool the entire time.
