The burger patties were crisp on the edges and had great umami, almost like a fried chicken which was unexpected. The rice was a lot, maybe too much, but cooked right. The eggs were a bit undercooked, whites still slightly raw, but I actually don't mind raw eggs (psh salmonella) so I didn't say anything. The gravy was good but a bit too chunky and thick, like too much corn starch or something. Service was ok. Had to order from the window right next to a swarm of flies as the trash can was nearby. Lots of open seating, but also lots of flies trying to beat me to my food. Menu very very extensive, not just Thai food, but also a lot of Asian classics. Overall, don't regret trying this as it satisfied my loco moco craving, but I probably wouldn't drive 45min out of my way to get it.

From the outside it looks pretty simple--just a white truck with a menu--but don't let that fool you. I ordered the mahi-mahi fish tacos, which came with red rice and beans, and I have to say they were some of the best fish tacos I've had in my life. My wife ordered the fish and chips (also mahi mahi), and it was delicious too. I've eaten at plenty of food trucks over the years, and this one takes the top spot. As we were waiting for our order we saw her handle cash and other customers' pens/credit cards without washing her hands or put on new gloves before returning to food prep. During normal times this is pretty gross, but during COVID times it feels especially unsafe. The truck was open in the back and we saw flies buzzing around and land on the prep surfaces and kitchen utensils, and to top it off a few chickens also managed to hop INTO the truck itself to peck at crumbs on the floor of the truck. Kind of gross. We understand that running a business is hard work and it's a crushing time with tourism, but cutting corners around sanitation is unacceptable and should be called out.
