    Taco platter

HOLA! Taqueria and Bar delivers a strong experience. The location impressed me as one of the cleanest restaurants I have visited in a long time. The dining room was spotless, the bathrooms were clean, and even the parking lot looked maintained. Our server did excellent work. I wish I remembered his name. He stayed on top of every table. Our drinks stayed above half. The food arrived fast. We never waited for anything. My wife ordered the margarita flight for thirty dollars. The drinks looked good, but the flavors felt weak and the portions were small. I expected stronger quality from a Mexican restaurant. We tried two of the ten taco platters. We sampled different options. The chicken tacos and the mahi mahi tacos stood out. The steak taco was dry and needed more seasoning. The overall quality sat above average and worth trying. The only drawback was the price. Sixty dollars for ten average sized tacos felt high. Higher prices should come with stronger flavors. HOLA! still offers a pleasant visit, a clean space, and good service. The tacos deserve a try and the restaurant shows potential with a few adjustments to flavor and value.

Not the best food. I ordered a steak salad and I'd say the good thing is they put plenty of meat in there but it was barely any salad. Then, the salad that was in there was extremely covered with too much topping to the point where it was soggy. I wouldn't recommend this place , not authentic and not good.

Decent place. Met friends there after Friday pickleball. They had Negro Modela as one of their rotating taps, so that was a bonus. Split salmon tacos with GF. Decent amount of salmon, tasted ok. Rice and jalapeño corn were underwhelming. Server was nice.

I was headed to Hola to celebrate a friend's retirement party. I approached the property and noticed they had their own nice sized parking lot, along with some shared backup parking with the other nearby stores. So parking is not a problem here. I found a spot quickly and headed inside. I immediately noticed the spacious interior dining room. I quickly spotted my group and headed over to join them. After catching up with everyone, I started browsing the menu and ordered a SweetWater 420 Extra Pale Ale. They had a decent selection on tap, around ten in total. Time flew by, so I was ready for another beer and some food. The menu was extensive and I went with the chicken quesadilla. I was so busy socializing, that I didn't even get a picture of my own plate, but I did manage to snap a few pics of a massive chimichanga a friend ordered, along with some tacos from another person in our group. I also saw some Churros go over to another table that looked very good. I will have to try them next time. We had a large party, and several servers helped with our table. Everyone was attentive and friendly, and my quesadilla was a nice size and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place if you are on this side of town and are looking for good Mexican food with a casual atmosphere with friendly service. I can also see it being a great place to visit in the summer with their outdoor seating and open air bar overlooking the patio. Oh FYI, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to my bill, I am assuming that was because we had such a big group.

Hubby and I decided to change up our taco spot a couple weeks ago and give Hola a try. The set up of the space was kind of awkward with booths in the center and an open air bar that gave the flies easy access to come in and harass us while we ate. Service was okay. Not terrible but not particularly great either. We ordered the trio appetizer with queso, guacamole, and avocado salsa. Hubby likes the salsa and I was partial to the cheese. We both thought the guacamole was pretty good. I ordered 3 tacos and a side of jalapeño corn. I chose to mix it up with one Americano, another with fried chicken, and the 3rd with fried avocado. The chicken taco turned out to be my favorite, which is unusual for me, but I liked all of them. Hubby ordered a burrito bowl with chicken, which he said was just okay. Personally, I enjoyed Hola and would happily return despite the mediocre service and having to swat flies away while I ate. Hubby, however, was less impressed and would return if I insist but would be perfectly content to cross it off our list of options. While I did like it primarily because the food was yummy, we likely won't be back anytime soon as I would prefer to stick to places we are both happy with.

Went on A Sunday night. The restaurant was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was received very quickly and hot as well as fresh which was greatly appreciated. The restaurant was holding trivia which was fun to watch and answer questions. The decor of the restaurant was traditional Mexican, very colorful and inviting. If I'm in the area, I would most definitely stop by.

First time here and everything was delicious! I had the skinny margarita and Texas fajitas. Kevin was a great server and made sure we had everything we needed. Lucio made the best margarita. It was so fresh. Definitely our new spot!

I appreciated that the onions were finely diced and uniform, it may seem like a small detail, but it made each bite clean and balanced. I ordered a variety of meats, and it was immediately clear that the quality is excellent. Everything was diced small, cooked perfectly tender, and packed with flavor. Not a single bite was chewy, which really speaks to the care in preparation. The tortillas were outstanding, sturdy without being tough, with a depth of corn flavor that made me wonder if they're house-made or cooked with a high-quality fat. Either way, they held together beautifully and elevated the tacos. The salsa bar was another highlight, offering several fantastic options. Every sauce had great flavor and a well-balanced consistency. The place was packed, and I was the only non-Hispanic person there, which felt like a very good sign of authenticity. Despite that, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

The plastic water cups looked foggy and old. Everything here just seemed old and dirty. We started with the Dip Trio because the salsa that came with the chips was very spicy. The Dip trio included Pico de Gallo (didn't look fresh), queso, and Guacamole. I ordered a Grilled Chicken burrito with Yuca Fries. The Grilled Chicken burrito barely had chicken and instead had a load of spicy chorizo (ground meat). It should've been called a chorizo burrito with chicken. The Yuca fries were like bricks (probably frozen). Our server was very nice which is why I gave this review 2 stars.

As soon as I walked in, I was seated and taken to a booth. Once I sat down I was handed a menu and was trying to figure out what I wanted. I was given water but the water tasted odd as if their filter needs to be changed. The seating was comfortable and there were plenty of places to sit. The ambiance was rather dark inside the restaurant. I ended up deciding on flautas and chose Mexican rice as my side. I didn't wait long for my food but the plating was very sloppy. A lot of cheese and just overall super unappetizing looking. However, I was starving so I made with what I had. The flautas were super oily and soggy so it was extremely hard to eat them without them failing apart. The rice was also watery as well and tasted mostly of tomato juice with how much watery they were. Service was alright, just very mediocre and grabbing plates when we weren't fully finished. Honestly, I could've made without going as the food was just alright. I most likely won't be coming back.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was incredible. The atmosphere and décor immediately stand out the entire place is filled with guitars and music memorabilia that reflect the owner's personal love for music. It gives the restaurant a really unique and authentic vibe that you don't see everywhere. What made it even more special was hearing the story behind the location. We had the pleasure of meeting April, who shared the history of Rock N Taco with us. She explained how the owner used to bike through that part of town as a kid, and when the space later became available, he chose it for the second location. Knowing that story makes the place feel even more meaningful you can tell it was built with heart and passion. The service was exceptional. Our server, Savanna, was wonderful friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. In fact, every staff member we encountered made us feel invited and appreciated the moment we stepped inside. The food absolutely delivered as well. I ordered the taco salad and my husband ordered tacos, and we both loved our meals. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. What stood out most, though, was how kind and accommodating the staff were to our family. We were traveling with both an infant and a toddler, and they made sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time. They even surprised us with a special treat on the house before we left, which was such a thoughtful touch. It's easy to see that while the food is fantastic, Rock N Taco understands that people go out for the full experience atmosphere, hospitality, and feeling welcomed and they absolutely nailed it. If you're in Roswell, do not skip Rock N Taco. It's not just a late-night spot; it's also the perfect place to stop during the day for a great meal or while passing through on a road trip. We'll definitely be stopping again the next time we're in town. Thank you - Tom, Alysia and family.

The chips arrived so greasy I briefly considered checking my cholesterol before ordering dinner. The margaritas were forgettable and showed up with nothing on the rim. Salt? Tajín? A little effort? Apparently not. Our finished plates sat on the table for so long they started feeling like additional dinner guests. The guacamole looked like a first-round draft pick and tasted like it got cut during training camp. It had all the visual promise in the world, but the flavor suggested either overripe avocados or yesterday's leftovers wearing a fake mustache. The jalapeño poppers deserve special recognition. These weren't just an appetizer. They were a dare. I like spicy food and rarely complain about heat, but these things were weaponized. They seemed harmless at first, but the next morning you'll find yourself reflecting on every decision that led you to that moment. Let's just say your digestive system remembers them long after your taste buds have moved on. The tacos were aggressively average. My food arrived lukewarm, the buffalo sauce had all the heat of a Hallmark card, and the lettuce tasted like it had just completed a few laps in a swimming pool then stored in plastic. The highlight of the evening was Music Bingo, which was genuinely fun and probably responsible for keeping my overall rating higher than the food deserved. If you're looking for a place to watch sports, have drinks, laugh with friends, and enjoy the atmosphere, you'll probably have a great time. If you're going for a memorable meal, the most memorable thing might be those jalapeño poppers reminding you they exist 12 hours later.
