We've been coming here for years to meet for monthly dinners. I have sat at the tables inside, but mostly we sit at the bar. Bar staff is always very friendly and makes good suggestions. The atmosphere is lively and upbeat and colorful decor. The restaurant is always clean. Ive had different items here, but I love the soup! Absolutely loved my visit to Ceviche in Roswell! I started with the prickly pear margarita, which was refreshing, vibrant, and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, with just the right tang. I ordered the shrimp ceviche, and it did not disappoint--fresh, citrusy, and packed with flavor. For tacos, I went with one beef soft taco and one fried fish taco on a corn tortilla--both were delicious in their own way, but the fish taco stole the show with its crispy texture and bold seasoning. 2 stars for relatively flavorful food occasionally - 0 stars as every special is conditional on them having the cheapest possible products available. The minute they run out of anything - "oh sorry I can still make you that but it won't be on special, it will be full price...". UHHHH that's a YOU problem, not a ME problem. Get your shit together. Also never count on them calling you for your table. Last time they "took my number" I turned up again asking if they had a table update 90 mins later and they said, "oh ya, so sorry".... Oh my!!! Some of the best Mexican I've had in a long time!!! The service is amazing, the bartender made some incredible recommendations. Huge portions, fabulous flavors, great chips & salsa. I had the Elsa and a poblano steak taco. Way to much food, but it was so good I destroyed it. The taco was super flavorful, with the right amount of spice. The salsa verde on the Elsa enchiladas was hands down the best I've ever tasted. My boss got 3 different tacos, they must have been good because he didn't talk once the food arrived, other than the occasional "mmmmm". It you like cold beer, they have it. And I didn't know there were so many brands of tequila. Eat here NOW!!!! read more

Pretty great spot to go for a mid-week meal. I hadn't been planning on much, but when I walked in to dreams of queso and margaritas, I knew I was done for. ALL THE QUESO, please! I had the jalapenos on the side out of deference to my eating companions, but definitely enjoyed the chips and queso to start my meal. I also had a pretty nice margarita on the rocks which set the tone for a lovely evening. After that, I decided to get the chimichanga. I'm allergic to beans but they were able to just fill it with the shredded chicken. It was on the smaller size, but they filled my plate up with rice so I didn't feel like I had missed out on too much excitement. Now, for the best part... that chimichanga, small but fierce as it may be, was coated, nay, bathed, in that delicious queso. That alone made the meal really worth it. If you can't get down with the queso, you should probably seek therapy. Maybe. read more

Ceviche is our go to place!! It's never a long wait, the patio is a great spot to people watch, the margaritas are the best, the servers are efficient, and the atmosphere is loud but inviting! (they should get something to absorb the sound inside!!) But let's talk about the food...the food is consistently delicious. Quality of food is always amazing here! Second time getting this chicken wrap and it is so delicious. Drinks are great each time also. I usually get tacos, quesadillas, tostadas or burrito but this has become my favorite go to menu item! As for a Saturday night, in downtown Roswell we were able to get a table immediately for a group of 4. We also ordered the queso with jalapeños which was very good as well. There food quality is always consistent no matter what you order and when. They have great options as well that I can't see myself getting any other place. read more

I came to the restaurant with a couple of friends and it was exactly what we were looking for. Amazing drinks and food, and the front of house staff was very pleasant. We were sat almost right away and there was already chips and salsa hitting the table. The drinks and food came out very fast and we were extremely delighted with how everything tasted. We were a party of 6. Food: My wife and I both got the Ceviche Pro (2x Mahi and 1x Scallops.) They were both loaded with pico de Gallo and that's all we could taste. We couldn't even taste a difference between them. For a restaurant name "Ceviche" we expected much more. The tacos looked good. The chicken enchiladas were dry, and not very flavorful. I noticed there seemed to be a good amount of uneaten food without a "to-go" bag request. Service: The waiter was very friendly but needed a reminder for things we requested. That happened about 3 times during the meal. The place was busy, though, so it's understandable. Ambiance: It's a fun, casual place that can be a bit loud when full of patrons. However, we enjoyed the atmosphere. Unless you are looking specifically for tex-mex in downtown Roswell, I would suggest one of the hundreds of Mexican owned tex-me restaurants across the northern Atlanta. Again, don't bother with their ceviche. read more

Because I didn't want to be unfair, I tasted one before saying anything -- my sense of smell wasn't the problem. I sent them back. A second dozen was brought out with assurances that these were fresh. They were not. Identical smell, identical film. I tasted one of those too, for the same reason. Identical result. At that point the kitchen tried to make things right by sending out fried oysters, apparently to prove the product was fine. The smell of old fish coming off that plate was overwhelming before it reached the table. I didn't eat it. I left dinner having consumed a few fries off my dinner partner's plate, and we went home and ate there. I want to be fair: the staff were pleasant and clearly trying to recover the situation. But the recovery was the wrong one. When a customer sends back raw shellfish because it smells spoiled and confirms it by taste, the answer is to pull the oysters from service and check the rest of the batch -- not to plate a second dozen from the same source, and certainly not to fry them and send them back out. Spoiled raw shellfish is a genuine health risk, and it was served to me twice. One more observation. At 7pm on a Friday night, we were the only guests in the entire dining room. An empty room and product this far past its prime tend to be related problems. The one unqualified bright spot (hence 2 stars vs one): the guitarist. He was genuinely excellent -- great player, great song selection, and the only reason the evening wasn't a total loss. I hope he finds a venue that matches the quality he's bringing. I won't be back, and I'd skip the raw bar here entirely.

We decided to try a number of different Spain inspired high quality tapas. The tortilla Española was a classic take on a traditional favorite. The Albondigas were my favorite and even better than the ones I've had in Madrid. For a small charge, they include bread that is paired perfectly with the savory tomato sauce accompanying the meatballs. The dining area feels intimate and artistic, and they also offer patio seating, which is perfect as we approach southern summer nights. If you're looking for wine pairing to accompany your tapas, they offer an extensive list of wines from Spain, as well as parts of South America. We will definitely return and bring our family next time, and we would highly recommend you try Silla del Toro in Roswell. Salud

We ordered those twice!! And also shared Grilled Skirt Steak!!! The service was great. Very attentive and helpful explaining of the menus. Whether you're coming for a date night, family night or just want some delicious food at the bar this restaurant is the most place.

Once upon a time I went to this place called Ceviche Taqueria & Margarita Bar and It changed my life forever, all thanks to my waitress "Skye". The date was August 14th 2017. It was a cold, brisk Winter evening in Roswell, Georgia and I'd just gotten off a grueling 12-hour shift at PetLand, where I'd been working like a dog for the past two months. Before that I served as the captain of the Police force for 20 years, but I'd been forced to resign and lost my pension after uncovering some dirty dealings between some crooked cops and the mayor. I subsequently gained 300 pounds and then my wife left me and went out West to Hollywood with dreams of making something of herself.But I wasn't going to let my 1950s noir film cliché hardships get me down. I knew there was light at the end of the tunnel and by God, was I gonna find it. As I whizzed home on my Vespa along Canton Street, my stomach began to growl like the rabid Dalmatian who bit me at work earlier that day. I needed something to eat. I needed something to drink. I needed a hero... SKRRRT. My Vespa came to a screeching halt when I saw the most amazing sight in the world. A beautiful brunette was serving a family of four on the patio of Ceviche and I knew that's where I was going to satisfy my hunger. I walked inside and asked the hostess to sit me with that girl I saw. She told me the girl's name was Skye and that she'd be with me shortly, as she handed me a menu and a set of crisply rolled silverware. Seconds later, Skye ran over to my table with a basket of hot tortilla chips and some salsa. I told her how my wife left me and she compassionately told me I should order a Skinny Texas Margarita and some Queso dip to make myself feel better. Skye's suggestion turned out to be the advice I'd ever been given in life. I devoured the queso dip and sipped jovially on my Skinny Texas Margarita. I asked her what I should have for dinner and she advised I should roll with the Esla's Enchiladas. Those enchiladas were beyond SCRUMPTIOUS. I ate them and literally licked my plate clean. The other restaurant guests looked at me in horror. I've frequented Ceviche bi-weekly ever since that fateful day and Skye always takes the best care of me. You would be pleased to know that I've lost that 300 pounds and am now completely shredded and ripped and women swoon over me. Over the years, Skye has introduced me to some of my new favorite dishes, such as Pork Barbacoa, Mahi Ceviche and the Steak Poblano tacos. I still lick my plate clean every time, much to the chagrin of the other diners and wash it down with a cold Skinny Texas Margarita. If you want really good mexican food in roswell this is the place to go. You know if you go anywhere on Canton Street parking is a problem. If you can overlook that you must go here. The inside is very small but the service is the best I have had in Roswell. We had the shrimp something, it was great, while I am not a fan of fish taco's I will order them again here. Nice to find someone who puts fish (not that breaded stuff) on taco's with proper seasoning. read more

Great spot for some standard Mexican. I had the veggie burrito, but unfortunately the veggies were limited to green peppers and sauteed onions. Basically, it was a fajita without the sizzling plate. I should have asked which vegetables were inside, but instead assumed they would stuff it with somethign more than that. My companion got the fish tacos. They were fine, nothing exciting, but tasty. We would probably go back to try different items. read more

Enjoyed this place last night. It can be extremely loud and difficult to hear the people in your dinner party, but that is what you sign up for when going to an indoor/outdoor restaurant. I had the shrimp ceviche, which was "ok". I wish it had a little more flavor, but the portion size was adequate. The drinks were great, though, and the service was on point. Definitely, will go back, but will try something else on the menu and drink more! read more

Had a great experience at Ceviche! We were celebrating my daughter's 14th birthday with 12 of her friends! They created a custom menu with her name at the top and a birthday message! The one thing I like about this place is the consistency. The food always ranges from pretty good to good. The service always ranges from fair to good. That being said, I keep going back because it's always good enough and I'm not trying to nitpick restaurants like some people do. As long as you don't expect too much you'll have a good experience. read more

My little one had a chicken tender salad since she loves cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, pretty much anything that comes in a salad that's not the lettuce. Lol. For starters, the restaurant wasn't ready to open. The doors didn't open until approximately 10:10 AM, and employees were still actively preparing the restaurant while guests waited. The seating process felt chaotic, and overall the staff appeared disengaged and unenthusiastic. Everyone--from the hosts to the servers to the kitchen staff--seemed to be moving at a pace slower than molasses. It certainly wasn't the energetic brunch atmosphere I remembered. Our server, was particularly disappointing. Despite arriving early, we waited over 30 minutes for our food while multiple tables seated after us (with different servers) were already eating. We repeatedly had to ask for water refills, chip refills, and basic service needs. Whenever we needed him, he seemed to have vanished like the last tortilla chip in the basket. The service issues continued throughout the meal. We requested to-go boxes and were handed a stack of five-plus containers, but no bag. After waiting, I eventually had to track down another server myself to get one. At that point, it felt like I had been promoted from customer to assistant waiter. The most frustrating moment came at the end of the meal. Before we had even requested the check and while I was actively packing leftovers into my to-go containers, Blake seemed overly eager to clear the table. In the process, my to-go containers were knocked to the ground, and my phone ended up falling and cracking. What should have been a routine cleanup turned into an expensive and frustrating ending to an already disappointing experience. To make matters worse, prices have increased significantly. I would not recommend the huevos rancheros. For the current price, receiving what amounted to two small eggs and roughly a quarter of an avocado served over chips felt underwhelming and difficult to justify. The one bright spot remains the pancakes, which continue to be consistently excellent. I've enjoyed Superica in the past, which makes it especially disappointing to see the decline in service, attention to detail, and overall value. Today's experience felt less like hospitality and more like hard labor.
