This burger joint is a real gem! The food is absolutely delicious and worth the drive outside of downtown Show Low. I'm 100% going here again the next time I'm in the area.

We were out fishing on the nearby creek when the weather took a dramatic turn for the worst. We decided this was the best time for lunch and found this place on Yelp. It's not hard to find, but it seems a little out of the way for the town. I suspect the locals enjoy it from time to time, though. The menu is very basic, burgers and tacos mostly. However, there are specials. We opted for the mushroom swiss burgers. You can choose a side of chips and a canned soda for the combo. It's a sold burger. They were grilled properly, juicy and flavorful. The mushrooms were nicely done and the earthy flavor was great. We hid from the rain in their small outdoor patio. It's really a place designed for "to-go" ordering, but the seating was perfect for two.

That being the case, I drove down there to get a burger (which is about 5-6 miles) to find out they had a 45 minute waiting list, as they aren't a huge restaurant and only have a few employees but for their location, they get absolutely swamped. If they were able to take phone orders that would be awesome so I wouldn't have to drive there and sit for 45 minutes, but the food is definitely worth it!

It's more than burgers ! I ordered a couple of tacos , lots of meat, lettuce , tomato and cheese. There not skimpy like you find at a chain that a little bit of meat lots of lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese nope there tacos are perfect just like the rest of there food. Service with a smile and so friendly. They have even put up more seating, corn hole. Best to call ahead if you're in a rush. Family friendly.

Wow, have to say I had one the best burgers I have had in a long time. Had the bacon cheese burger, $7.95. Hubby had the Ortega burger, $6.95. Mine was pretty perfect, Hubby was hoping his was spicer, but said it was good. They are mainly take out, only 2 tables outside. This place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere but certainly worth the drive. Beware they are closed on the weekends, and only take cash.

Such a gem! It's located on the side of the road and seems to be a local favorite. I ordered a Fifties burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Standard burger but ingredients were fresh and the meat patty was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The only downside is they don't have fries. However, they do have a limited selection of chips. The owners are such a sweet couple. We had a long conversation and the customer service was exceptional! The prices are reasonable and the food is great. We came here based on Yelp reviews, and am glad we did. From opening the vehicle door and smelling grilled burgers, we knew we made the right choice. It's a simple place, ambiance is humble but the kitchen delivers exceptional burgers! Seating is limited if you choose to stay but as we waited we saw several vehicles come and go with their to-go orders. I ordered the guacamole burger and my husband ordered the mushroom Swiss- both were huge and delicious!! I'm absolutely stuffed! I could have not eaten the whole thing but it was too good! Wow, have to say I had one the best burgers I have had in a long time. Had the bacon cheese burger, $7.95. Hubby had the Ortega burger, $6.95. Mine was pretty perfect, Hubby was hoping his was spicer, but said it was good. They are mainly take out, only 2 tables outside. Great price and great food. For such a little shack, the food is delicious. Good prices for not having to drive all the way into town. And now they accept card! I've gotten the Ortega Jr burger and my husband always gets the mushroom and Swiss. We've tried a lot of the menu, and so far, it is all great food. Kid friendly options are always a plus too! read more

Family owned business and don't expect much except great food and service. It's a small shack on side of the road but the cheeseburgers were amazingly delicious and good size portions. Had a larger menu than I anticipated but we all (3 boys, my wife and I) got cheeseburgers. We will be back, nice people and great food at reasonable prices. All three boys devoured their cheeseburgers and wanted to go back for more. read more

Great burger!!!!, I got the one with the Ortega chiles. I fished Silver Creek two days this week and had a burger each day. I was referred to Hole in One by several people. It is tiny, has an outside table and is cash only. About $8 for the large burger, chips and a can of soda. I wish he was in the Phoenix East Valley. I would be my goto burger place. read more

Wow, , , Such a Great little "out of the way" burger joint. Decent prices and great food, a terrific combination. Such nice folks and they make the best Patty Melt I've had in years. This place has the best burgers in town! their prices are fair and the quality of the food is 10/10.
