Large nightstands with reading lights on each side of bed.

My husband and I stayed here two nights. Our room was nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was no street noise. I would recommend this hotel to someone staying in Show Low. I liked that each side of the king-sized bed had a large nightstand with a reading light. I liked that the sink area had a small nightlight built into the electric socket. We had brought our own nightlight, but I am happy the hotel provided one. The room had one upholstered arm chair plus an upholstered swivel desk chair with no arms The seating was comfortable. (I would have preferred two upholstered arm chairs, since I ended up sitting on the bed.) I liked the desk lamp. I did not need to fumble for a switch; all I had to do was touch a pad near the base of the lamp. The lamp had settings for low medium, high, and off. I liked that the refrigerator was big enough to lay several bottles of water flat. We put additional bottles in the door rack. The room also had a microwave and a coffee maker that we did not use. I liked that the air conditioning worked and was not overly loud. I liked how the room had three layers of curtains so that you could adjust the amount of light entering the room. I liked that the room had a small closet with sufficient hangers. There was an iron and ironing board. I wish there had been a towel rack by the sink. I put the face towel next to the sink, but it got wet from sink use. The sink and its counter were conveniently located near the entryway. The bathroom contained only the toilet and the bathtub/shower. We found the bathtub drain difficult to operate. You were supposed to push a circular plate to make the stopper pop up and release. A part fell off. My husband managed to adjust it so the tub would drain. The bathroom had a motion-activated fan. Every time I walked into the room, the fan turned on. I suppose that frequent fan use helps dry out the room and prevent mold, but I found the noise annoying. What was really annoying is that the fan stayed on for several minutes after the occupant left the bathroom. I finally figured out that there was a small button that you could push to turn off the fan. Thereafter I turned off the fan every time I left the bathroom. The room had an alarm clock that we did not want to sound in the middle of the night. My husband could not get the alarm to turn to the off position, so he unplugged the clock. One morning at the hotel, we sat in the breakfast room for quite a while reading the newspaper and drinking coffee. We had other breakfast plans so we did not sample the food. I will note that the hotel had more extensive food offerings than many other mid-priced hotels. I saw cheese omelets under a heat lamp, Chobani yogurt cups, raisins, dried cranberries, chopped nuts, half and half creamer capsules, two nondairy creamers dispensers, plus other more common offerings. A staff person came by frequently to clean the breakfast room and check the coffee urns. I liked that the hotel was within walking distance of two sit-down Mexican restaurants that were well-rated on Google. We walked to Los Corrales and had a nice dinner. We did not try the other restaurant Licanos. The hotel is in the center of town and not far from other businesses and restaurants guests might want to visit.

Cute fast hotel!!!! The staff and service was amazing. The rooms were clean and beds were super comfortable. Kids got to play in snow and swim in heated pool while it continued to snow outside. We will definitely return here for our visits.

Had an awful sleepless night in a bnb in the area when we checked into the hotel the next morning. Almost cried when Beau at the front desk welcomed us warmly and had us check in early! She even took care of our IHG rewards points and got them updated in the system! We stayed in a spacious 2-room suite and breathed a sigh of relief as we sank into the comfortable beds with the air conditioning on full blast! The breakfast was excellent the next morning. We requested for a late check out which was given without hesitation. The housekeeping staff left us in peace as we got ready to pack our things for the road. Easily the BEST hotel experience ever!

But it…read morewas slightly less expensive booking directly AND it was VERY NICE to have the different rooms explained to me by a live person before I picked a room. They have some 2 person jacuzzi tubs I would have gotten if available. That would be awesome. I agree with all the 5 star reviews. I've never seen a 4.9 star average anywhere and this place deserves it. I was in the smallest room on the 1st floor. I took a pic of one set of stairs. I travel with a lot of stuff to lug in by myself so I was thrilled with my little room with easy access. It was wonderful. The bed was great. It has 2 very big full pillows and 2 somewhat thinner pillows but I travel with my own pillows so I didn't test them. They look good unless you need very flat or soft pillows. If so bring your own old flat goose down like I do. (:-) I took a LOT of pictures of everything. Especially the breakfast foods. There is no hot breakfast. Just YUMMY stuff. Breakfast is in the lounge and all the rooms are well marked when you walk around. Nobody is onsite. Everything has codes to unlock. You receive a very helpful text with everything you need to know. Keep your phone with you when you leave the room in case someone locks a door that's usually unlocked and you can't remember the code. The LOUNGE is easily found as you wander. If I lived near here I would call this a great place for a ROMANTIC GETAWAY. They even have a wine bottle opener in the lounge. And of course a 2 person jacuzzi can be quite romantic although it would also have been therapeutic for my old bones and muscles all by myself! There are old fashioned touches like DVD players in the rooms and DVD movies to borrow in the lounge. There are also some games and nice game tables and chairs to play games in the lounge. It's wonderful here. (:-) This place is LOVELY and I recommend it highly!!! If you find this review helpful please VOTE!

Charming Stay at the Heritage Inn - Twice in One Week!…read more We initially chose the Heritage Inn in Snowflake, AZ based on a Hotels.com search. It looked charming and was reasonably priced--and it more than lived up to our expectations. This is a delightful little inn where each room is uniquely decorated with its own color or theme. There is no on-site staff, but check-in is easy with a code provided, similar to many vacation rentals. Our rooms were tastefully decorated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The guest lounge is modest but well-stocked with snack foods, which also serve as the continental breakfast. It's not fancy, but everything is high quality and thoughtfully presented. One great amenity is the Tesla destination charger. Just be sure to arrange in advance to have it turned on. During our first stay, I didn't ask ahead and couldn't find it, but the next morning the staff quickly responded and turned it on. On our return trip a week later, we booked again last minute. Even though the staff had gone home for the day, they still found someone to come back and activate the charger for us--outstanding customer service! We've now stayed in both the Red Roost and the Blue Denim rooms. Both are adorable, but we slightly preferred Blue Denim--it's downstairs, a bit roomier, and has a comfortable easy chair. The price difference is minimal and worth it, though we wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of the rooms. Conveniently located, the inn is right next door to Streets on Main, where we had a delicious meal. There's also a highly rated Mexican restaurant on the other side that we plan to try next time. We'll definitely stay here again!

The hotel was located in my desired area, the room was comfortable and the hotel price was good! Honestly, I usually sticked with Hilton brands these days for the most part, but when this hotel came up as overall great value, I couldn't resist to book this place instead...and I wasn't disappointed at all. The staff were great and helpful. I felt very safe and sound asleep there. Best of all, the hot cooked breakfast meal in the hotel's restaurant next to the lobby made this the best deal ever. If I ever wanted the best value hotel, I would go for this hotel. It's not fancy at all by any means but it does its job!

We were also stocked with lotion, hair care, etc. which was great! Cons: Common areas were not clean. Trash was piled in the hallway for two days and we noticed some need for dusting. There was a musty smell in the room and general areas. The lights in the bathroom flickered and the water pressure in the sink was so strong it was hard to wash your hands. Ps. You cannot check in any earlier than check-in time, even if your room is ready, unless you pay a fee. Unusual business in my experience! At this rate, (especially for almost $180/ night!!) I would not return to this hotel.

There is a bigger boat for rent but it was broken. There were lots of trees and shade which we liked. We stayed in the Ash cabin. It was not great. It is old. The "comfort zones" which we later found out were heaters were on and set to 80° when we arrived. It was very warm inside when we arrived and we didn't figure out until too late that we were turning the heaters down to cool things off not off. There were no manuals to help instruct us on temperature control and we had to text the after hours number to get help. It took 2+ days to cool this place down. They encouraged us to open windows at night but not many of the windows (none upstairs) had screens. There is no cooling unit upstairs but they brought us some box fans which didn't help much. The plumbing upstairs was slow and had to be snaked because the sink wouldn't drain. Fridge took some time to cool down but then worked fine. Couches are worn and you sink down into them. We read that every cabin has a fireplace but ours didn't which was disappointing. There was 1 smart tv. We tried to log into Disney but someone else was already logged in. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but then the TV needed a pin that we didn't have. WiFi worked well. The kitchen was clean and had what we needed. The blinds are dusty. We probably wouldn't stay here again unless there were some significant updates.
