My husband & I took our little old dog for some r&r and much better weather. It was our first time to Pinetop since moving to PHX. We stayed in the Oh Deer suite from Wed-Fri in early October and it was perfect! Since it was mid week, we pretty much had the shared outdoor space to ourselves. The cool air and fire was heavenly! The lake was a short walk away and there were plenty of great food options nearby. When we left on Friday, the parking lot was filling up and families with kids were arriving. I suspect that a weekend or high season visit could be a little overrun with children which isn't our jam, but if we can do another midweek trip, we'll be back!

This is a great place to stay! It was nice and quiet, cozy, and clean! We chose the Welcome to BEARadise room which looked EXACTLY as pictured. The bed was so big and comfortable. My boyfriend and I could both be spread out with extra room to spare. Check-in & Check-out were super simple and easy. Being located about 30 minutes from sunrise ski resort made the nook PERFECT for our weekend snowboarding trip. You can tell Shelly and Derek take pride in their business. They could be seen maintaining the grounds, cleaning, & shoveling snow. Email communication was timely. They cared enough to make sure we made it safely and provided their personal phone numbers incase we needed anything! Hospitality like no other!

The Nook in Pinetop is a great spot! A group of 6 of us came to Pinetop to get away from the Phoenix heat for a weekend. We had so much fun! The owners are doing a great job renovating the rooms and giving each one a "Pinetop theme." Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We enjoyed hanging out by the fire pits, playing rounds of mini put-put golf, walking the paved trail at the Pinetop Lakeside Park just a short walk away, and relaxing in our hammocks (yes, you can bring and hang your hammock out in the common area!). We've already planned our next visit, and we're excited to check out the local nightlife next time. Do yourself a favor and plan your next chill vacay here. You won't be disappointed.

This cozy gem in Pinetop-Lakeside is a true gem! We booked and noticed upon arrival everything is being redone. We got one of their recently renovated rooms and what a cool experience! Check-in was a breeze with the keypad, room was fresh, clean, modern-cozy cabin feel. Our friends had one of their other themed rooms. Very clean. We were able to enjoy the evening fire pits, yard games and the location you cannot beat! It was very close to everything we wanted to do. Can't wait to stay again, already have a winter weekend getaway booked! A+++

We just went to The Nook for my husbands 55th bday with a group of 24 people. We had a blast sitting out on the lawn in cozy chairs and hammocks set up. Played a-little mini gold and corn-hole! Even had a BBQ! Shelina the owner was the best hostess and very accommodating to all of our needs! We are already planning our next trip!

This place is a gem! Clean, nice rooms. Our room has a fishing theme with a colorful teal accent wall. Outside they have campfire areas, putt putt, and within walking distance to restaurants/shopping. The Nook is for extended stay/AirBnB. Definitely a fun spot to go back to this summer.

The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are so fun!!

I filed a CORPORATE COMPLAINT WITH HEADQUARTERS and they did nothing since I didnt speak to management. Why they dont have another sweet especially didnt have a balcony. I couldnt stay anywhere else as my mom was staying here as well for her upcoming surgery. There was nothing the property management could have done! Walking into the room you are greeted by decor that looks like its from the 70's. Carpet has stains on it and the bedspread is worn and needs replaced. The mattress has indentations on both sides. The parking lot has huge potholes and being on a motorcycle it's tough to maneuver around them. On the plus side the staff was helpful and the area around the hotel is pretty with all the trees. If I come to this area again I'll stay in Showlow and not here.

The snow was gone, the…read moretemperatures were mild, and the sun was out most days peeking through the tall pine trees. The resort was not very full, as often happens during this time period. That is what makes it a very special time in my opinion. Time to think and reflect, do projects, binge shows from your favorite streaming service, take long walks in the neighborhood and along nearby trails, and truly pull back from the normal day to day. With my dog nearby, it was a truly rejuvenating week. The units have everything one needs to be comfortable. Full kitchens, comfortable furnishings, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a deck with furniture and a grill for your outside moments, and TVs, strong wifi, garage, and even a washer and dryer. I highly recommend Quality Hill for a great change of scenery, especially if you live in the Phoenix or Tucson areas. Pinetop is at 7300' in elevation, so the air is clean and the temps are much cooler. Hope you plan a visit soon!

As such each condo is decorated and equipped differently. Ours was comfortable and well equipped...even had a cappuccino machine but no instructions for use. Location wise Pinetop Showlow is great..it's les than 90 miles to Petrified Forest, Meteor Crater, Ft Apache, Sunrise Ski, Springerville ( great museum) Kinishba Ruins, etc. The resort has an excellent clubhouse with gym, board games, etc. If you like that kind of stuff. Now you can't be out doing stuff all the time..so I've got one item that got me...and it gets me at many resorts...it's streaming TV...impossible in most instances to get local news. Often limited channel choices unless you want to sign into your own Netflix etc. But why would a resort in this day and age select a streaming service that doesn't include live as on Dish or Cable versions of Fox or CNN or MSNBC...yes...I'm kind of a news junkie. Oh...almost forgot....this place has a garage for every unit....wow!!!! That's nice.
