WINNER TRULY DESERVING! THE HOTEL IS CLEAN, NEAT AND TIDY. EVERY SINGLE staff member had a smile on their face. (Unheard of these days). To a family of an AMAZING young adult special needs loved one, we wish we would have stayed there a long time ago! I DEFINITELY plan on returning, and referring friends family and co-workers. Breakfast in the morning was hot fresh and delicious! If you are debating on whether to stay here or not, I say go for it.!! . You WILLL NOT be disappointed.. (Also we're PLEASANTLY Surprised that *NO FOUL ODORS* did we encounter.. Not in our rooms or hallways during our ENTIRE stay.*) * WE even STOOD HERE A FEW EXTRA DAYS, THAN EXPECTED! (Awesome shopping across from the hotel for "*GAMERS*"and MOMS...) Every staff member we encountered had a big smile and their face & a warm greeting especially to MY YOUNG ADULT child w special needs) He actually enjoyed himself so much that he got in the pool, (AWESOME ACCOMPLISHMENT!) THE STAFF treated MY SON LIKE FAMILY and that means the world to ME

We used to come here often years ago, it was nice. Wow! Has it changed. It is old and dated, dirty and loud. Be aware if you plan a trip to this hotel, we checked in and walked the dirty hall to our room which is nothing to brag about. The window is single pane with a busy street and freeway right next to it, that was fun. I guess it's good that police presence is there, three police cars right when we got there, too bad the were basically strip searching someone in the parking lot. 'This place is old, not the good kind of old. I took a few pictures.. The gym is disgusting, the spa was green, the sauna was, well a storage room. The only thing decent was the breakfast. 'I would not stay at this overpriced hotel again

This place has everything you would expect from a mid-level hotel. In fact I had a good experience here recently. We were three friends and we booked a room with 2 queen beds. Upon reaching here the guy at the reception told us that they had only one room available which had just one queen bed. It got us very mad and the lack of communication/booking service is why I am taking away one star. We went to our room and decided to give them a call to at least provide us with a few extra blankets so that one of us can make a bed out of it. But the guy at the reception showed up at our door a few mins later with a cot and a mattress and extra blankets, this was super sweet and really touched us. They also provide complimentary breakfast with a pretty loaded breakfast bar, they had everything you can think of for breakfast. I had a good stay here, would return if I have to be in the area.

    Runs on the door

Spent 3 days there paid for a king size bed with a sofa bed. Never found the sofa bed. Room was painted very bad all metal accessories in restroom were over painted. Main room had runs on the walls etc. not worth 450.00 bucks.

The hotel room was nice but I just didn't like that the room smelled like cigarettes upon entrance. In addition, the door didn't shut all of the way -- which could have been the reason noise continued to be easily heard from people on the outside. I informed the front desk receptionist when I left but her response was simply, "well did the door lock?" I replied, "yes". She said, "okay thank you." And that was all! No apology. No compensation. No true acknowledgement. Also the lock on the door was not secure. It was "reinforced" by cardboard on the lock base ... I don't know what that was about! The complimentary breakfast was good.

I was in Simi Valley for my friend's wedding so I had to book a hotel for the night. I was able to check in early (before 3 pm) because they had enough rooms available. They also upgraded me from a 2-queen to a king room since I was an IHG member. The king room also had a jacuzzi tub in the room in addition to the regular amenities. The set of of the hotel is more like a motel that was converted since it has an uncovered courtyard with rooms facing the courtyard as well as rooms facing outwards. There's a pool area, fitness area, small breakfast room and a small "market" in the lobby. I requested a room away from the elevator and they obliged. For the most part, if you're traveling through the area, this hotel is ok, but I wouldn't stay here long term. The room I had was clean, the flatscreen TV was nice, and the A/C was cold. The breakfast on Sunday was from 7 - 9:30 am with different hours for weekdays. The breakfast consisted of a buffet of cereal, eggs, turkey sausage, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea, juices, milk, biscuits & gravy, bagels, toast, and English muffins. Despite the variety, most of it was just ok. I was able to rest in the room fine but forgot to close the blackout curtains on the back frosted window so the morning sun woke me earlier than I wanted to wake. Check-in and check-out was an easy process.

The broken down fence that you see upon arrival to this hotel.

My family and I checked in over the weekend to discover a pool kept at 60 degrees and in need of a scrubbing. No bottled water in our room for making coffee or just to drink throughout the night. There was a gate down stairs and three rooms over that led to the parking lot. Which isn't a big deal and great for safety. But it slams shut every time it gets used. In dire need of a handy person to adjust its closing speed. It kept us up all night. Ugh. If they decide to get a handy person/carpenter on site, I would recommend re-installing the fencing that has come apart and is now partially piled up in the corner of the parking lot. Looks like they had a group of kindergarten children come and stack the broken fencing up about 6 months ago and decided that would be the final design. It's too late to rebuild it now, but just so you know, the walls are super thin and you can hear every word spoken from your neighbors. Terrible night sleep for the entire family. And now we have an 8 hour swim meet to attend for our daughter. Should be fun. Thanks Holiday Inn and IHG resort.

However, my experience took a very concerning turn when I was suddenly locked out of my room. When I went to the front desk for assistance, I was told--very loudly and in front of other guests--that I had an outstanding balance. This was both shocking and embarrassing, especially because the hotel was already holding $2,685.00 on my credit card. Despite this, I was required to make an additional payment of $1,400.00, even though I had only stayed four nights at that point. The following day, I was locked out again and told there was still a balance and that the hotel had been attempting to contact me. I later discovered they had been calling the wrong phone number. As a loyal Hilton Honors member who travels frequently and has stayed with Hilton properties many times, I found the way this situation was handled extremely unprofessional and humiliating. I am currently disputing the charges, as the hotel held $2,685.00 and I was later charged an additional $2,700.00, which appeared excessive and was never clearly explained. In addition to the billing issues, the condition of the room was disappointing. The property was dated and not well maintained, and we experienced ongoing plumbing problems, including toilets that would not flush due to apparent sewer line issues. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution when booking this property. What should have been a routine extended stay became an unnecessarily stressful and embarrassing situation that has significantly impacted my confidence in staying with Hilton in the future.

What followed was one of the most humiliating, discriminatory, and dehumanizing experiences of my life. A payment miscommunication arose: front desk staff (Melony and Rozanne) had told me I could only pay at the front desk, but when the time came, there was a dispute. I pleaded with them from my room -- I could barely stand, let alone walk -- and explained my condition clearly. They refused to accommodate me. The manager, Jazlynne, then demanded I come to the front desk myself, which required me to painfully walk past roughly twenty doors down the hallway on broken limbs. I made that agonizing trip. And I was still denied service. What happened next was beyond unprofessional -- Jazlynne verbally assaulted me, yelled, made racially charged remarks, and unleashed a barrage of extreme obscenities at me. She then locked herself in her office and called the police. I -- a disabled person, barely able to move -- was effectively evicted on the spot. My belongings were already moved in. I had to pack everything up myself, call an Uber, and scramble to find alternate accommodations that weren't even set up yet. I then spent three months attempting to file a complaint with the corporate office. I called once a week. Every single time, I was the one reaching out -- they never once called me back, despite repeatedly assuring me they would. I was told my complaint had been "escalated" three times. Eventually, I was told coldly and without explanation that "management will no longer be doing business with me." When I pressed the employee further, it became clear the complaint had never actually been escalated at all. They strung me along for three months, ignored me, and quietly dropped my complaint. This hotel discriminated against a disabled person in crisis, subjected me to racial abuse, physically forced me out, and then covered it up at the corporate level. Zero stars if I could. Do not stay here.

I arrived after a 5-hour drive expecting a decent stay, only to walk into what can only be described as a neglected, filthy, and outdated property. From the moment you step into the lobby, it's obvious this hotel hasn't seen proper maintenance in years. Chipped paint, damaged drywall, and floors that look like they haven't been vacuumed or deep-cleaned in ages. The air feels grimy, and the entire space screams of a place long past due for a full remodel. The room was somehow worse. The kitchenware looks like it was picked up off the side of the freeway--mismatched, old, and questionable at best. The refrigerator is outdated and visibly dirty, the microwave janky, and the oven hood feels like it was salvaged from a 1970s garage sale. The stovetop? Just odd and out of place. The bathroom initially appeared dirty, but it turns out the sink and tub are just covered in deep scratches and wear that make them look filthy no matter how clean they might be. The carpet, though, is beyond saving--dark grease stains everywhere, threadbare patches, and an overall feeling that it hasn't been sanitized in a very long time. I didn't even feel comfortable walking barefoot. Walls throughout the room are poorly painted, with patches of missing paint high and low--this isn't just cosmetic damage; it's years of neglect. I was booked here for six months through my company, but I won't be staying. This location is a disgusting pigsty and a health concern. It's clear Extended Stay America has chosen to milk profits while completely ignoring the basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience. Avoid this place at all cost.
