Review The GM of this location is Zalma Quezada. And her Manager is Neal - who you will never get a hold of. Remember there names and hope that you never get helped by them. Because they truly done care about your stay not the service they provide. In fact when I told her that her service counter person was wearing a "Chevron" sweatshirt and no name badge- she gave no F's. Even when I told her that my wife and I were locked out - the attendant never showed up until 30 mins later - she still gave no care. The Room: - white stains on the sofa; don't even want to begin on what that stain was. - Dirty carpet that was not vacuumed properly and some sort of sticky substance near the bed and desk area - Stained dried toothpaste on the bathroom countertop- the top was never cleaned nor was the area below which had debris from the previous resident. She treats Marriott members who are loyal to Marriott for over 15 years like they are garbage. I told her how many points I used for the stay (after spending a lot To earn then). She said "I'll need to check that first and get back to you" - as if I was lying to her. She never issued the points back. Well done customer service by you and your manager to actually take of the people who pay your salary. Please do your best to never stay at this location.

Well this Inn was ok. Checking and checkout were great. Room ok, bed no real comfortable, basic decor. I know it wasn't too expensive to stay here, so you get what you pay for. Breakfast was your basic, didn't get anything but a banana. I would probably stay here again, but just to sleep. It was quiet and easy to get too. I did get a nice list of restaurant recommendations.

Door that was propped open 24/7 due to malfunction of key operation.

We were there celebrating a friend's wedding. In addition, they (the wedding party) were spending the night at the mansion. Beautiful back yard grounds. The mansion has an eerie victorian vibe to it. I came here for a fall wedding to which my besties were getting married. The ceremony took place on a hill in the backyard as you walk up some stairs to get to it. The reception was on the side of the house in a large patio area that had string lights, tables and a bar in the gazebo. Before the ceremony started I was able to walk the halls of this mansion. Lots of stairs everywhere. We had to go up three flights or stairs to get to the bridal suite aka the honeymoon suite that was on its own level, no other rooms up top. It had a seating area, the bedroom a small bathroom and a living room with a small kitchen area and lots of doors that lead you back into the hallway. The second floor was all guest rooms and the bottom floor was the living, dining, kitchen with another room down below. The bridal party stayed the night there as you can rent out the rooms. I left when the wedding was over but it was a magical night full of love and happiness!

Luxurious experience and wonderful hospitality!…read more We decided to do a girlfriends' day outing and thought a spa day at Four Season would be the ultimate pampering for the day, and we were so glad we did. Located in Westlake, the spa is located in the left wing of the hotel. Self parking is complimentary if you validate your parking ticket at the hotel. I booked the deep tissue massage for $280, and the spa appointment would allow guests to use all the amenities in the spa like sauna, steam room, pool, and day lounges. Snacks, tea, and water were available throughout the lounge. When I arrived, the host gave me a tour of the facility. All the lockers came with clean robe and slippers, and a diverse array of toiletries were available at all counters. I relaxed for 15 mins at the sauna before my massage. When the appointment came, my masseuse called for me and directed me to a quiet room with tranquil setting. She asked for the perfect pressure and soothing music was played at the background. My masseuse did a thorough job in the deep tissue massage and my shoulder was much more relaxed afterwards. After the massage, we went to the pool and enjoyed a nice lunch and dips into the whirlpool and pool. The service was excellent and sunblock was provided . Overall, it was a wonderful experience to enjoy a spa day at Four Season. It was expensive but with the use of the luxurious facility, it was a nice treat. Will definitely return!

At check-in, we realized our assigned room was near two very barky dogs, and the front desk was kind and accommodating in relocating us to another room. I think it was even a better room. I appreciated their willingness to help. Unfortunately, the room itself felt more worn than charming. The furniture had visible wear and staining, the ceiling showed patched areas and water stains that really needed a fresh coat of paint, and the overall impression was tired rather than historic. A few relatively simple updates would go a long way toward elevating the experience. The bathroom was tight, and it had a small step up that we kept forgetting about, despite the (small) warning sign. The provided toiletries were among the worst I've encountered at a hotel. I had forgotten my own shampoo and soap and planned to use what was provided, but it was SO bad. The tiny disc of soap did not lather. On the positive side, the property felt safe and the room was clean. The lobby had dark wood and a homey feel. But what could have felt like a charming historic inn instead came across as simply old and overdue for some attention. While I appreciated the friendly service, I wouldn't choose to stay here again until I knew they had made some upgrades. From what I hear, this is the nicest place in Santa Paula, so I guess we would stay in nearby Ojai at a similar price point.

Check in was a breeze thanks to Joanne at the front desk. She was very welcoming, treated us like VIPs, and gave us great info. The room having a full size fridge (not a mini fridge) came in clutch with all our drinks, leftovers, and Trader Joe's perishables. At Joanne's recommendation, we arrived early to the continental breakfast the following morning (~730a) as it understandably gets crowded later. Breakfast was decent - eggs, sausage, vegetarian chorizo, tortillas, waffle maker, fruit, cereal, bread, yogurt, beverages. On our last day, we were looking to fill our cooler with some ice before heading out. Unfortunately the vending machine on our floor ran out of ice so we went looking around the lobby area where the rooms are but couldn't find anything. That's when the sweetest employee, Patty (in the kitchen/buffet area), gave us ice from their kitchen's commercial ice machine. Huge shoutout to Joanne and Patty! The service we received at Homewood was top notch and we will definitely make it a point to come back. Added bonus - it's a pet friendly hotel!

During our stay, we regularly…read moreused the hotel's amenities, including the breakfast area, and I even conducted business meetings there. However, my experience took a very concerning turn when I was suddenly locked out of my room. When I went to the front desk for assistance, I was told--very loudly and in front of other guests--that I had an outstanding balance. This was both shocking and embarrassing, especially because the hotel was already holding $2,685.00 on my credit card. Despite this, I was required to make an additional payment of $1,400.00, even though I had only stayed four nights at that point. The following day, I was locked out again and told there was still a balance and that the hotel had been attempting to contact me. I later discovered they had been calling the wrong phone number. As a loyal Hilton Honors member who travels frequently and has stayed with Hilton properties many times, I found the way this situation was handled extremely unprofessional and humiliating. I am currently disputing the charges, as the hotel held $2,685.00 and I was later charged an additional $2,700.00, which appeared excessive and was never clearly explained. In addition to the billing issues, the condition of the room was disappointing. The property was dated and not well maintained, and we experienced ongoing plumbing problems, including toilets that would not flush due to apparent sewer line issues. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution when booking this property. What should have been a routine extended stay became an unnecessarily stressful and embarrassing situation that has significantly impacted my confidence in staying with Hilton in the future.

The Inn is an older building (as, indeed, most commercial buildings are in Santa Paula), but well maintained and comfortable. The rates were good and it's literally round the corner from the main street, so in easy walk of shops and restaurants (we ate at Rabalai's - great place). Also, if you're flying in, it's easily walkable from the airport. The hosts, whose names I didn't get, were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay. We'll be seeing you in October when we bring our plane back for its annual check.

The location is excellent -- close to Main Street and within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly, and the property looks like it has been recently renovated and freshly painted. There are nice updates throughout, and the little garden patio is a pleasant place to sit. We booked a room with two queen‑size beds, but the room itself was quite small, and the bed we slept in was definitely not a queen. It felt like a standard double, which made it uncomfortable, especially with my husband being a larger man. The mattress itself was also extremely uncomfortable and left both of us with back pain. Once we settled in, we noticed several maintenance and cleanliness issues. The bathroom tile walls hadn't been cleaned -- my husband was able to scrape dirt off with his fingernail. The electrical outlets were so old, that they didn't hold the plugs anymore, the plugs kept falling out, mismatched, and in poor condition, which stood out even more against the fresh paint. The toilet had a standard bowl with an elongated seat that didn't fit properly, and the bolts were rusted. The ceiling fan wobbled violently because the blades were unbalanced, and it made a loud clicking sound whenever it was on. The continental breakfast was also disappointing. There were a few tiny muffins, almost‑empty orange juice, and a single slice of bread left. It didn't appear that anyone monitored or refreshed the breakfast area. Overall, while the staff was kind and the property has charm, the room quality and maintenance issues didn't match the price we paid through Hotels.com. With a few improvements, this could be a great little inn, but as it stands, it felt overpriced for the experience. I am giving it 3 stars, but it maybe should be 2 stars.

All of Camarillo's hotels seem to be along the 101 freeway, meaning constant traffic noise. Bella Capri is on a less busy stretch of Ventura Blvd, away from the freeway, and the rooms face inwards around a small parking lot. So there's not much audible traffic noise. The rooms are small and clearances are tight, particularly in the bathroom. Our room had a comfy queen size bed, microwave, good sized mini fridge, TV, and a small round table. The free WiFi was on the slow side. Shower pressure was good but I had to frequently adjust the temperature to keep the water hot. Noise isolation was so-so. We didn't hear neighbors or plumbing through walls, but we did hear what sounded like a clothes washer on the other side. Every day we could hear the sound of people in the room above walking around. And in the very early hours of the morning (like 5am), I would get woken up by some thudding sounds outside; it sounded like someone throwing a heavy sack of something. So I stopped keeping the windows open overnight. Fortunately, the air conditioning unit worked well. There's supposed to be a small room with some fitness equipment, but we were told that it was closed while the staff figures out some ventilation issues since people complained that it gets too hot in there. And there's supposedly free breakfast, but that wasn't available to us because we booked through a travel portal. Overall, we had an okay stay here considering that the price was reasonable. Note that check-in ends at 10pm, so if you get here past that, you're out of luck. We forgot about the check-in time the first night and ended up having to stay with my parents an extra night. At least the price was still reasonable even after losing a night!
