I was contacted by a wonderful woman who had utilized the service and cured her self doing so from the same state that I am from Washington. That was pretty cool. I then went on in and did a high-dose vitamin C treatment. While I was there I had the honor of speaking with the Director and from there I signed up sone treatment. I did a consult with the doctor and we were rolling. The way to go about it is to have a consult with the doctor and get a full recommendation and go there for 2 to 3 weeks and get all the work done. My situation is a little different as I've been handling this for two years personally and have a protocol.. I've had the lymphatic massage by Issa. For the record I've been told that I've had lymphatic massages before and I can assure you that there is nothing like this before this woman is gifted and her massage is a true pumping of your lymphatic system. I was waiting at Mexico City airport when my I AM just told me to research a holistic place in Puerto Vallarta. I searched and they first came up on Yelp. I immediately emailed them, and made an appointment as soon as my flight landed in P. Vallarta. The staff, Dr. Zoli Hargitai, and his lovely wife Alicia are just beyond amazing! Dr. Hargitai has been a licensed naturapath doctor since 1981. He grew up in the 60's in Hungary and became interested in holistic healing methods after seeing some people that looked vibrant and half their age. His interest led him to study and consume herbs, vitamins, enzymes superfoods, antioxidants, etc. His sweet wife and I talked like old friends and clicked right away. She mentioned to me books that I had already read myself, and that made me even more excited because I knew she wasn't bullshiting me haha! She is very knowledgeable and knows a lot about nutrition and holistic healing methods as well. At their clinic, they have the latest technology like the SCIO Quantum Biofeedback Frequency device that left me in awe... I was here with my mom for the first time the week of Thanksgiving 2021 and from the minute we set foot through the front door until the minute we left our experience was anything but exceptional. They work in tandem to review your medical history, lab results, and come up with the best plan to address all your underlying health issues. On Friday, when they applied the stem cells, Dr. Yael and Dr. Bars were there every step of the way talking my mom through the process, applying the stem cells, and comforting her. Dr. Bars and Dr. Yael make a wonderful team as they work with patients to breakdown every lab result and explain what everything means and what supplements and treatments need to be done to improve your health. This place is pretty awesome! Very friendly staff helpful and kind. Went here for stem cell therapy and I'm currently on day 18 of my recovery. Seems to be helping my herniated discs. I am virtually pain-free thus far but I'm feeling that my back is just still tight feeling. My pain level was out about a seven constantly before. Everyone at this clinic was very professional and made sure that we were comfortable. Our only complaint was that there seem to be a lot of miscommunication with scheduling but I think that just happened because we were trying to get things done in a 10-day span. Dr. Zoli referred me to one of their clinic's doctor's Dr. Jake Ames for treatment. Jake is NOT trauma-informed or able to have a COLLABORATIVE conversation about care. If you need someone who treats you like a whole being who is also the expert of your body and care, this is not your doctor. Without any intake forms he dove in verbally purging hundreds of things about what's "wrong" with me and why he's the "expert" on every single one of these things. In a scattered way telling me dozens of tests I need to have, treatments and supplements I need to take and books and resources I need without checking in. On first glance, this felt awesome to receive but it wasn't grounded in anything directly about me. He sent me an email saying he'd like me to do a 10-day urine fast upon arriving (still without any intake form or lab reports). I shared with him that I've recovered from an Eating Disorder called Orthorexia and that if I am to do any kind of cleanse, fast or restrictive diet, I'd like to have a thoughtful conversation about how I can modify the treatment while also not kicking up any old ED symptoms. He didn't reply. His next communication a week later said: "The best, cheapest and fastest way for you to get your health back is to do urine fasting. You will need at least a 10-day fast." When I responded and said I feel concerned about the response and I'd like to talk, he said he's an eating disorder "expert". Fact is, I AM an eating disorder specialist as a psychotherapist and in this industry, it is KEY to have patients ADVOCATE for themselves and their care. His response was: "Your eating disorder can be due to emotional and psychological disorders, nutritional inadequacy, genetic problems, e.g. MTHFR mutation, chronic heavy metal, and chemical burdens, etc.". I can hear that and ALSO, eating disorders are not just physical for MOST people and need emotional awareness so patients don't slip back into old ED behaviors. When I shared that I need a doctor that can care for the emotions that are here when I'm in the detox process and acknowledge that a lot can come up in an intense treatment, and slow down enough to make space for my questions and what I'm feeling his response was incredible. He said "You probably just need to go see a woman doctor where they can hold your hand and be sad with you but NOT actually help you get better." His sexism came through several times in our conversations. For how committed he is to alternative healthcare, I was shocked at how committed he is to traditional western patriarchial doctor power trips and belittling clients (and other doctors). When I expressed questions, he expressed, "some people want to stay sick... you just don't want to get better." He also said "billionaires take risks... I think you just need to think like a billionaire and take a risk and come see me because I'm the best." He emailed me a list of 5 doctors. "I am friends with the smartest doctors on the planet, you can call them." I called them. 2 hadn't heard of him, 1 wanted to charge me $110 for a conversation, and the other 2 didn't respond. I also reached out to 7 people through Trip Advisor who left reviews to see if they'd be open to briefly chatting with me about Dr. Jake Ames. Nobody responded. After our conversation, I received a harassing email an hour later. Here's what it said: "Subject: Alpha Males. Hi Shelby, You have a problem with alpha males. My female patients have all told me that I am the most compassionate man they have ever met. In my entire medical career, I have never met a woman so afraid as you. No doctor yet has told you what is wrong with you, I did. I wish you luck in finding a doctor. You definitely need a female doctor! Jake". He lacks the ability to listen and express understanding. Empathy and self-reflection do not seem available. He seems afraid of empowered people who want to be a part of their own treatment who have healthy boundaries. When he said to me "no one has ever been more scared to come see me", I shared that it's likely that many people are quite scared and they don't speak up because they'd like him to heal them and fear getting worse care if they speak up, he laughed. Also, He threw Dr. Zoli and his team under the bus and told me a lot of gossip, where there were also some racist remarks and when I said I didn't want to hear this gossip he kept going and said I needed to know (which I really didn't). I am not entirely sure he is an actual MD even though he writes it after his name. It looks like he went to Homeopathic Medical School and calls himself an MD from there. It's a little eery to me how hard it is to find any records of him, especially given what he says about himself: "I am in the top 100 holistic physicians in the world, the top 5 allergists, and I have the number one protocol to cure all cancers. I brought my mother Susan to Holistic Bio Spa for alternative cancer treatment in February of this year. My mother was diagnosed with terminal Kidney cancer, renal cell carcinoma in November of 2021. I chose Holistic Bio Spa in Puerto Vallarta. The treatment protocol for my mother offered to us by Holistic Bio Spa for three months was $100,000 Australian dollars investment for our family. In addition to this we had to pay for accommodation, flights and living costs while in Mexico. The treatment started off really well and I had the utmost faith and trust in her treating doctor Dr Bars, I stand by that trust and faith to this day. Dr Bars is a total genius who is by far the most intelligent doctor I have ever met and will likely ever meet. Dr Bars could read blood work and design protocol like no other man on this earth. The first three months were up and down and hard going because the treatments made my mum sick and tired. The amazing thing was her body was killing cancer and killing it at a rapid rate. She was losing a lot of weight from the medication however she was stable. The last onca trace that we had done ( test that shows how many circulating cancer cells a person has) was outstanding, the treatment was working and my mum was recovering. As a family we made the decision to extend the three month treatment plan when it ended for another 5 weeks. At this time my mothers treating doctor Dr Bars went on holiday to Brazil and this is when things went down hill and they went down hill fast. A few days after Dr Bars left my mother started acting very strangely and her feet and limbs swelled up. Holistic Bio Spa did a urinary analysis on Monday and it would take them until Friday before Carlos from head management would summon us to his office. Carlos coldly informed us that my mother had come down with a bladder infection and that they could not treat her and that we were required to take her to hospital. Her treatment at Holistic Bio Spa was terminated immediately and they sent us out to fend for ourselves against a pack of wolves. Holistic Bio Spa is an outpatient facility and we were well aware of that, we resect that Bio Spa could not treat the bladder infection however they way they handled my mum needing to go to hospital was disgusting. My mums red blood cell count had dropped to fatally low levels and she required an urgent blood transfusion and IV antibiotics. In Mexico it is different to other countries in the fact that when you require a blood transfusion you have to find the blood yourself. Holistic Bio Spa offered us zero support. They wrote a discharge letter for my mother and sent her on her way. We were left to navigate a foreign hospital system in a foreign language with absolutely no support. Our 4 day hospital stay was $17,000 Australian dollars and I had to find the money upfront and pound the pavement for blood myself. Does this sound like we are your family and support network on the ground. We know for a fact that Holistic Bio Spa have a list of blood donors that they could have called on as two doctors on staff told us that they did however we were not offered any of this support. We were out of money and we left the hospital where my mother continued to rapidly decline, during this time we were paying for a doctor to come to our home and care for her. From the moment Carlos terminated my mothers treatment Holistic Bio Spa did not reach out to us to check on my mothers well being. As a family we had invested $100,000 in treatment. We chose Holistic Bio Spa as they sold themselves as a treatment clinic that is our family on the ground offering an alternative to Big Pharma. What a bunch of lies this turned out to be. Holistic Bio spa turned out to be exactly the same as Big Pharma, when it came down to it all they cared about was lining their pockets with the money of vulnerable people. My mother passed away on June 14th and not one single staff member from Holistic Bio Spa apart from my mothers treating doctor Dr Bars reached out to us to offer their condolences. read more

First off, in having years of experience of getting IV therapy, I've never seen IV bags that look like they're being reused. That made me a little uneasy as I was sitting in their treatment room. The 'Myers Cocktail' they say they're feeding you may or may not be the exact mix that Dr. John Myers originally concocted. Consider this an AYOR. Second, the foot detox they offered to me is nothing more than an electrode in salty water, resulting in immediate rusting. That's why the water turns color... And it has zero to do with toxins being released from your body. You cannot physically excrete colored 'toxins' through your feet and anyone who says otherwise is selling snake oil. When someone lies to me about one treatment, how am I to believe them about their other- much more serious- offerings... Like cancer therapies. In general, this is a buyer beware. This center for healing was started and is overseen by Dr Zoli Hargatai. We started seeing him back in 2014 when my husband was having a health crisis. I highly recommend this clinic, I just stayed for multiple weeks of treatment and it was affordable, comfortable, and most of all I've improved! I have struggled with the healthcare system in the US and doctors not meeting my needs. Many of the treatments in US only address the symptoms not the root causes (and good luck even getting any treatment or proper testing), here they provide treatments that actually work and they make you feel comfortable while doing them. The cost here is much lower compared to elsewhere, and the staff is knowledgeable, considering of your feelings and thoughts. I had an injury to my head which improved greatly while here, I've had inflammation for years in my shoulders and joints and they are much better as well. The treatments really work, it just takes time. I was assigned Dr. Simona who is extremely caring and helped guide me through the whole process. She was able to share so much of her knowledge with me and I can't imagine where I'd be without her expertise. I've seen many doctors, she's the BEST I've ever met and it was her approach which helped get me better. The nurses are highly skilled and attentive, I felt safe in their hands. The entire administrative staff were so helpful in every way, truly a great group of caring individuals(I would name you all but running out of space).
