I love this place. We had read Dr. Richter's book before moving from Colorado to California, but, when I was desperately searching for someone to cure the love of my life, I was surprised that the search led to Dr. Richter's clinic! My love, big dog, Aslam, has had smoke inhalation and suffered neurological damage. He was stumbling and stuporous. After dealing with A hostile local vet, I researched and found this place. Dr. Richter's exam, during COVID over Zoom, allowed me to see his interactions with my pup. Aslam was kissing him! And the vet was being cheerful and kind about it. He asked me many times, "What do you think it is?" And he listened to my responses! This genuine respect for me and my dog was very touching. He did a thorough exam and told me the findings. We discussed nutrition. I hoped the oxygen chamber could help. So we tried that. It even got covered by my insurance! And the staff was so great! They sent me typed professional receipts for everything that day, so I could submit them to my pet insurance. And, they were wonderful with my big dog. The chamber scared him, I learned, on our second visit, when he pulled me down the street rather than go in. So, the thoughtful vet tech came out with treats and spent a lot of time on the sidewalk, kneeling down to treat and pet Aslam, and ease his fears. We drive nearly three hours to the appointments. His muscles feel softer after the treatments. After the oxygen, he has more energy. I respect the way this practice is allopathic and holistic. We are considering moving closer for his continued good care! Oh, and the place: inside it is like a spa! Soothing with nice decor and plenty of treats. I highly recommend this vet. read more

Starting off by saying I dont take writing poor reviews lightly and typically if I dont have anything good to say, I will keep it to myself. Grieved a few days before writing this to compose myself, but writing what needs to be said. Knowing we had an ultimately terminal dog with kidney disease, we thought about trying out an alternative approach of giving her the best of her last days. After explaining and pleading with the receptionist the earliest time they would give us was 2 1/2 weeks away. When the appointment arrived, we were given the, sorry you cant go in the room with more than one person line; after about 20 minutes, they wanted us to re-take lab work and an xray. I explained we knew where we stood with the western approach but I suppose it was one way to bill more. When we got the results, they told us what we already knew, that there is nothing that can be done and gave us some Hospice names. Explained we needed some holistic treatments to ease some of our dogs pain, without any consideration for her status, they told us the earliest available time was 60 plus days away. Well our angel didnt last another 2 weeks after that yet alone 60 days. Hope they revisit their policy regarding these types of situations and treat their patients with more compassion in the future. read more

My Yorkie has a congenital knee problem and he goes for water treadmill therapy. His therapists are wonderful!!!! The Vet is great as well. She knows Yorkie's and their personalities! My only suggestion is that they need sone higher chairs to sit in for mom. I have bad knees and back . read more

The facility is clean and well staffed. It is pricey. We are fortunate to have the resources to afford the treatments but it is fairly expensive. Kayla our acupuncturist is top notch. A true healer who cares deeply about our dog and us. She is accommodating, gentle, and understands how much we care about our sweet Delilah. Delilah is undergoing treatments for kidney disease. When diagnosed our vet gave her months to live...and that was two years ago. I truly believe the acupuncture and herbs and dietary changes have been life saving for our girl. read more

I was very impressed with our veterinarian (Dr. Kirton) and enjoyed the time, thoroughness, respect, and open dialogue provided during our consultation. Instead of talking at me, it felt like more of an open ended conversation where I felt free to ask questions and was provided thoughtful responses. Instead of the dogmatic approach by many veterinarians, she was informative and educated me about my options, while still providing her own recommendations. I took my dog Chester to Dr. Richter for some general advice on medication and a referral to a dog trainer- he was nice enough and had a good, friendly interaction with my dog - At the end of the visit -I asked if they could trim his toe nails(they had been trimed without incident two months ago) the techs decided not to move him to a regular exam room, but the trim them in the same room used for the interview - the room as about six by six , and quite dark -no place to do any procedure the techs refused to let us stay and reassure him - because of the room, the were on the floor when trying to trim the nails- one of the techs cut too deeply into the nail and Chester bit him - Chester left with a swollen, painful foot and a young man was biten and will need repair - Dr. Richter did not bother to come evaluate the situation or talk or me. In spite of the hype he seems more interested in money rather than good medicine- I am a medical doctor, and clearly this was bad medicine - the bite could have been avoided if Chester had been moved to a procedure room. I would not trust Dr. Richter with a goldfish, let alone a beloved pet. They tried to sell me at $200 hour long holistic exam when I just wanted a regular exam for one issue my dog is having, and then said that with a half hour exam they "wouldn't be able to go into details," and then I find out they charge full price for exams that are cancelled after 24 hours... strangest vet hospital I've ever heard of. I always worry vets are running a racket, taking advantage of people who will do anything for their animals, like so many of us will. This office gave me a suspicious vibe. read more

Dr. Kirton charged a great deal to treat my cat only for a different vet to say I needed to put him down. Literally the following week I got a second opinion. This place was fantastic when I came here with my dog Emma a few years back to do some rehab. But a few months ago I brought Emma back to Holistic, and I was super disappointed with the care she received. This time around, almost everyone I worked with was new and seemed to be figuring things out as they went. There were several occasions where my dog received lackluster care, but the final straw was during my last appointment. While doing laser therapy, the tech assistant started whispering frantically to the vet that my dog had cancer and so maybe the vet shouldn't be using the laser, which can stimulate cancer cells. It was clear the vet didn't know/remember that Emma had cancer. The vet looked alarmed, and then hurriedly said something like, "Everything is fine and this treatment is fine, etc." But it was clear she had messed up. I mentioned this incident when I emailed back their survey, as well as my general dissatisfaction with the overall service. They never followed up, so I called and canceled the rest of my appointments. They didn't ask why, and I haven't heard from them since. read more

Very friendly and professional staff. They really try to be there for you and your pet. They make scheduling, tests and prescription refill really easy. Rather than persuading you into services (like other vets), they give you all the information you need to make the best decision for your pet. They've never done anything unnecessary on my dog. I do not recommend dr Dianicia Kirton who works at Holistic Vet hospital as she is a liar and a scammer. I started bringing my dog for acupuncture treatments with her. Appointments are supposed to be 30 min for $150. At our last appointment, scheduled for 1200 noon, we arrived there at 11:50 and waited outside. One of the technicians came to tell me that Dr Dianicia Kirton was running a little behind and that my dog will be taken in as soon as she finished with her previous patient. At 12:10 the technician finally came out and took my dog. I walked to my car thinking that my dog wouldn't be finished until 12:40. I was really keeping track of time. Then at 12:14 I get a phone call from Dr Kirton asking me about how Suky was doing. In looking at the time then I figured Suky wouldn't be finished until closer to 12:45 as our conversation on the phone lasted about 5 min. However, to my surprise and disappointment at 12:30 sharp she call me that she was done!!! How is that possible?!! So does that mean that my dog only got 15 min of needle time!!?? I confronted her and asked her "you're done? My dog was taken in at 12:10; how long did my dog have the needles on for" at which she hesitated and her response was "mmm about 20 min" I was very disgusted and disappointed by her lack of professionalism and lack of caring for my dog. So then I thought since it was a shorter treatment and she admitted it then she is not going to charge me the full $150, but this wasn't the case. When I waited outside for my dog the technician came out and I was charged $150, I was like WOW!! This place is a scam. I gave feedback to the technician about what happened and he said he will tell Dr Kirton but I was still charged $150!!! I went home so disgusted and immediately sent written feedback online asking for a partial refund since my dog didn't get his full treatment. I was pretty sure he only got 15 min at the most. Very disappointed that Dr Kirton used our appointment to get her schedule back in track. This appointment was in December and until now I haven't heard anything about the feedback I provided. Ahh but when it is the other way around and you're late this is what they do " cancellations within 24hrs or late arrivals may result in a reschedule with a non-refundable deposit". Yes they want the right to non-refund you if you're late but when they are late to see your pet and shorten the appointment time they still charge you as if they did a full treatment. WRONG!! So therefore NO I do not recommend dr Dianicia Kirton!! Please find another more professional and caring acupuncturist for your Pet!! read more

This is the most expensive vet in town with probably the best holistic veterinarian in Northern California, and yet for all of that, the front desk is a total trainwreck here. First, I get the the vet is renowned and famous and all of that, but the needless markups here are a bit silly. $40 for herbs that cost $29 everywhere else? That's simply excessive. But if the front desk could do their jobs, the markups could be overlooked. But they can't. A few months ago, the very competent young man who steered the front desk was promoted up off the desk. Congrats to him! But pity for the rest of us. Literally since that day, every. single. insurance. claim they submitted has been wrong. I'm talking 3-4 months of weekly or bi-weekly visits just all handled monstrously. They forgot to submit the documents that they promised to most of the time, causing me to call them multiple times to beg them to submit them. Once they finally did, they continually submitted the wrong form for each dog or failed to include the invoice. I was willing to forgive the first few times, but by the 5th and 6th times, it was just getting stupid. Add to that, the office manager never returns emails or phone messages. You have to keep calling until you get her. She will acknowledge having received your message, but never apologizes for never getting back to you. But the clincher is that the office manager twice lied to me about their repeated mistakes with the insurance forms. She blamed the pet insurance company for mixing up the forms for each dog (they have QR codes on them - they can't be mixed up), and she blamed them for losing the invoices attached to the claims when in fact they never attached them before sending them over. This has been my pet insurance company for several years. These issues have never NEVER come up before. But they suddenly are happening regularly at this practice once the front desk lost its star? Yeah, no. I spoke to the pet insurance company. The issue is the front desk staff here. So the lying was the proverbial nail in the coffin for me. I'm not spending 30% more to go here for this level of service. It's a shame. I hope they work it out. read more

My dog Fluff came from the shelter with an undiagnosed CCL tear. I'm a disabled single mother & a student. Fluff came with a ton of training & I just taught him a few things specific to me to be my service dog, & he started coming to school with me. I was devastated when his odd gate turned into him not being able to jump or get up from laying down. Dr. Ancier was FANTASTIC, spending an hour & a half going over his whole body & finding 2 other injuries that were related. Fluff went to Holistic every week for several months for physical therapy & now he's like a brand new dog! They did not push unnecessary treatments on me & worked with me to be able to do half his PT at home to save money. The physical therapy staff are WONDERFUL also, there were always 2-3 people working with Fluff. He received laser treatments, worked out in the gym, & trotted on an underwater treadmill. I love this place. Yes, it is expensive, but it is worth it. Also, if you have pet insurance, your insurance might cover treatment (mine does). I have been bringing my senior dog for help with her arthritis and spondylosis. She gets acupuncture and physical therapy. We see Dr. Ancier, who is caring, kind, informative, and patient. She tells me all my options (we have had some other issues come up as well) and she adjusts the plan to fit my dog's needs. The rehab techs are amazing. They are all so great with my dog, who is not always the easiest to work with. April is able to massage my dog who normally does not like being restrained or touched too much by strangers - I couldn't believe how relaxed she was with April! Also, special shout-out to Melissa, who works reception. She is so on top of everything, sending paperwork to my insurance, forgiving me when I'm late, and generally being wonderful and welcoming. read more

If I go by yelp descriptions, I would give only 2 stars (meh, I've experienced better). But on Yelp, you always have to rate up I think. Plus, from the other reviews, it does seem like they help a lot of pets and by extension, help a lot of people. So I don't want to be too harsh. But when we had our quick 5 minute phone consult, I explained that my dog Charlie, is a Korean Jindo which is a notoriously skittish dog when it comes to new people. I've found several vets who seem to have a way with animals and just know how to interact with Charlie really well, so I know that he can definitely respond positively to doctors and treatments when handled correctly. I explained Charlie's wariness with strangers touching him and was reassured that they had worked with Jindos before and knew the breed and knew how to work with dogs who aren't so happy-go-lucky when it comes to doctor visits. But I found Dr. Gary to be very unsure of how to deal with Charlie. And Charlie picked up on that right away. After a minute or two of tentatively approaching Charlie, and Charlie just moving away from him, he just kinda looked at me and basically said that Charlie was too skittish, nothing he could do. So no acupuncture for Charlie. But Lisa Koenig was MUCH better in handling Charlie. She wasn't hesitant, went by his side, took hold of him and began the adjustments. She quickly worked her way around his body and I could tell that Charlie was enjoying himself. He does love massages and I'm guessing the chiropractic adjustments felt pretty good to him. He also responds MUCH better to firm confident energy than to tentativeness. And I gotta say, I prefer that in my own doctors too. The adjustments took only 2-3 minutes. I asked if I would see any improvements in Charlie's limping and was told that I *should* but it wasn't guaranteed. So on the whole, we had a 5 minute consultation, 2-3 minutes of chiropractic adjustments and I walked over to the reception desk to find myself faced with a $165 bill plus $40 for supplements. Ouch. Really? I mean I would have understood if they had done some sort of thorough analysis or an extensive first treatment session. But they gave Charlie just some light adjustments because they didn't want to stress him out too much the first time. So I was pretty baffled by the huge bill. Now this might totally have been worth it if I had seen any improvements in Charlie, but alas, his limping seems worse. I'm now looking into alternatives to the alternative treatments. Hah. Also, there was quite a bit of waiting around time in the front reception area. Waiting to be seen, and then afterward, waiting to pay and get out of there. Which is so strange because it seemed like I was the only customer there. Quick Protip: The supplement they sold me, Ligaplex II can be found on Amazon for $7 cheaper. I'm very happy for all the people who have benefited from Holistic Veterinary Care and I wish this business nothing but the best. I just had to share my own personal experience. I take time to discuss with the owner what their concerns are and what therapies may be of benefit to their pet. Because we offer so many treatment modalities (acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathy, physical rehab therapy, etc), I find that these complimentary consultations are very helpful in designing a treatment plan for each individual. Based on your review, I know you were unhappy with the cost of bringing a pet to Holistic Veterinary Care. The prices you were quoted for an initial exam ($165) and a follow-up exam ($95) includes acupuncture and/or chiropractic care. By quoting these prices, our intent is to let people know what it will cost not only for an office call, but for treatment as well. I apologize if you were told otherwise." I understand it's an especially trying time. It is hard enough that we cannot be there to be in the rooms with our pets right now. Nevertheless, I had a awful experience at Holistic Veterinary Care. Think you'll be able to zoom during the appointment? Nope they do not offer wifi like I was promised. Impossible receptionist giving improper information regarding what I was initially looking for. She is clueless / does not know how to properly schedule / communicate appointments. DO NOT COME HERE FOR ADVANCED PET DENTAL PROBLEMS. Your pet will be evaluated and then charged $1K for an appointment just to get a REFERRAL OUT SOMEWHERE ELSE. This issue could have been addressed simply by this place representing exactly what they do over the phone and the Receptionist clearly knowing what the hell they even offer to speak on it. Further, Dr. K did not properly read my intake form and made assumptions / statements based on medical records for my pet from 2019. She also included $250 of unnecessary supplements after my visit for my pet of which I immediately returned. When I addressed all of this by email to everyone, was I met with an apology or acknowledgement of my concerns? Nope, I was met with condescension, denial, and a rude email. Staff will openly admit the faults of their under-trained staff to you; Happened twice in my visit to drop off and pick up where I spoke up, asked questions, and 2 separate employees agreed, yes, so in so has a problem doing this; yes, we have heard complaints about that in the past with this Dr. WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS ABSOLUTE SH*TSHOW. I was very disappointed with my experience at Holistic Vet Care. My cat has multiple chronic problems, cysts, open sores, multiple scabs, intense itching and biting. Dr. Richter was nice but he just looked at the records from her other vet and suggested switching her food and getting an omega supplement. He didn't seem to be concerned about the open wounds which aren't healing. I was charged $150 for no new information and no further recommendations of treatment. I never got a followup call, which they said they would do. I have since switched her food to raw food, I use vitamin and omega 3 supplements but my cat is actually getting worse. She has more sores and is itching more. I wish I could find a vet who actually looked into possible bacterial or fungal infections instead of just shrugging and saying its allergies. read more

WOW Dr Richter is AMAZING I went to see him last week with my very elderly sweet dog who was named Tallulah... she had a herniated or ruptured disc and Dr Richter did acupuncture on her, well Poor Tallualh was too old and the ruptured or herniated disc was too much for her and she was put to sleep by Dr Richter. The vet office looks like a living room in a home its lovely, we were gently greeted, we went into a nice room and I was offered tea or water, Dr Richter explained what was going to happen over the phone I chose to see her being sedated but not die, they took care of everything for me and gave me a bouquet of flowers when I left.. It was so gentle, so nice and so peaceful and really really really hard but Dr Ritcter and his staff made it as easy as it could be. My German Shepherd, Kira, shattered her rear leg last year. I was concerned that she would be permanently disabled. After her post-op care at home, I took my dog to Holistic Veterinary Care for 10 weeks of physical therapy, hoping for the best. Dr. Whitlock, and physical therapists, Nicole and Crista offered Kira a variety of treatments that included aqua therapy on a treadmill, balancing on equipment and various muscle strengthening exercises. About 7 months ago I noticed that my 9 year-old Miniature Pinscher (Bijou) seemed to be losing feeling in her back legs. While she was still able to walk, it was clear something was wrong. I brought her into my regular vet on an emergency visit and they said that if things got any worse, I would need to call them right away to get in with a specialist and move forward with a VERY expensive spinal surgery (anywhere from $6,000 - $10,000). The recovery process would be long and they couldn't guarantee it would be successful. The next day, it got worse. She no longer had feeling in her back legs and I had to make a make-shift sling so she could go potty without falling over. Because acupuncture was recommended by my vet, I went to Holistic Veterinary care that same day to see if Bijou was a candidate. We met with Dr. Richter first and he was great. He told me that she still had "deep pain" (she could feel a pinch between her toenails and still could pee/poo) and he laid out all of my options, not just surgery. I opted for the holistic route and moved forward with sessions in the hyperbaric chamber, acupuncture, and physical therapy. We also changed her diet to raw food. This all demanded a lot of my time and it wasn't cheap, but it has been WAY CHEAPER than surgery and did I forget to mention that Bijou is NOW WALKING!!! We started seeing real results about a month into her sessions and it just kept getting better and better. All of my friends and family who have seen how far she has come say it's a miracle. That hyperbaric chamber is the real deal and we always notice a difference after Bijou has had her acupuncture, too. I also need to say that the staff here is so sweet. The front desk has the best customer service skills and they remember everything. Bijou is kind of an a**hole and they don't make me feel like horrible dog owner when she barks at other dogs or acts out. Kaylah (who Bijou is still going to for maintenance) is an amazing acupuncturist and has such a maternal, loving energy. Although Bijou only went to physical therapy a few times, I really felt we got a lot out of our sessions. I rarely write reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel that this needs to be said. Don't fall for the hype that this practice puts out. Maybe they are good at alternative treatments, but I would never go there for regular veterinary care. I had been bringing my cat to her regular vet, but thought that I might get some additional help by seeing a holistic vet. I saw both vets over a period of about 3 years. This winter, I brought my cat in to see Dr Richter and specifically asked him to look at her eyes. They had a lot of black discharge and she was squinting. Dr Richter said that there was nothing wrong with her eyes. Shortly after, I brought her to our regular vet and found that she had conjunctivitis that was caused by an underlying herpes infection. This resulted in a corneal ulcer which was very painful. I then had to go to a vet eye specialist that conducted a procedure on her eye, with weeks of eyedrops. Then, on August 10th I brought her in to Dr Richter for an exam and blood test because she had kidney disease and got regular blood tests. Dr Richter hardly touched her during the exam. In the next few weeks she hardly would eat. I contacted my regular vet and she told me to take my cat to the emergency vet. On August 23rd, I took her to the emergency vet and she was diagnosed with advanced lymphoma and given weeks to live. She had lumps all along her throat, as well as throughout her body. This was not even two weeks after Dr Richter saw her. I put her down on the 27th. I like Dr Richter's book and the "feel" of the office. He has been kind in his communication. However, I think that the main thing a vet can do is to give thorough, informed exams and the exams he gave my cat were seriously wanting. read more

My favorite thing about seeing Dr. Richter with my dog: He listened to my list of Coffee's symptoms and past treatments, and what I was hoping could be done to improve his condition. Then he thoroughly explained his recommendations. Although I didn't feel pressured at all, I decided to pursue the therapies recommended, including pulsed electromagnetic frequency therapy, which isn't well known in this country (isn't FDA-approved for humans, although it is for animals). Going ahead with PEMF sorely challenged my self-image as a skeptical person, but I wanted to do everything I could to improve my dog's quality of life. I don't know which of the multiple treatments made the difference, or all of them in combination, but my old boy feels noticeably better and has better mobility. Oh my goodness!!! I was heart broken because my 8 yr old Labradoodle "Lola" got a hyperextension injury when I took her on a vacation. I've been frantically trying to address the issue. On a moments notice Dr. Dana Whitlock saw me immediately. She spent so much time with me talking about my options for treatment, given I could not afford surgery right now. Ultimately she said I could start with a brace and began the process. That evening she creating a mold so I could immediately get a customs brace. I swear just being in the same room with Dr. Whitlock eased my anxiety, as well as the anxiety of my girl Lola. This doctor does the work because she has a heart of gold and loves animals. When it was recommended that my dog have physical therapy after TPLO surgery, i was actually, like, 'really. physical therapy?' However, what I came to understand was it was THIS that helped her heal as quickly and thoroughly as she did Our vet was fantastic, the helpers wonderful. They were loving, conscientious, and customized everything to her needs. I spoke with another dog-person who's dog went through the very same surgery, who didn't do any therapy, and while there can be a myriad of reasons why the healing process didn't take, they said that they chose not to, and were paying the price. We specially did the water treadmill which my dog loved, and worked hard at. And she's 100% healed and happy! Highly recommend this facility. read more

I took Adelaide (cat) here two years ago (I didn't have a Yelp acct then) for blood work after a tick bite, and also a chiro adjustment. Dr. Richter said he needed to take Adelaide to a back room to draw blood and I explained my apprehension as no vet has ever taken the cat away for something as minor as bloodwork. I waited more than 10mins for them to return and heard the vet talking to patients in the lobby for an extended time! Keep in mind this appointment cost me over $400 as a new patient, so I thought it rude of him to socialize on my time. When he returned with Adelaide he said everything went well. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed 2 puncture marks on the cat. I called back and was told that basically Dr Richter lied; they couldn't get blood from her neck so they took it from her leg BUT NOBODY TOLD ME. Lisa, the chiro, told me the first adjustment cost $90 and subsequent visits would be $60. After our 2nd adjustment two months later, the office tried to charge me $90 again on our way out. They went to consult with Lisa but she left for her lunch break immediately after seeing us and we had to wait for her to return. She apparently "forgot" the rates she previously gave me, which makes me think she charges whatever she wants or she was trying to swindle me. And it still doesn't end. Another month later I was getting calls from this office claiming I hadn't paid my $90 balance. I was completely level-headed and understanding throughout every mishap. I feel this place is staffed with unprofessional people who seem more interested in creating a "holistic" atmosphere than in forming a client-patient relationship based on trust. read more

Amazing, excellent experience! Everyone is super friendly, kind and educated. Dr Richter is very experienced and very knowledgeable. I appreciate the time he took to answer all of my questions. I did not feel rushed. Follow up phone calls received as promised. The front office staff is excellent as well! Upon asking for items to be emailed to me, I received them in a matter of minutes. My spouse took our cat to Holistic Vet because he was throwing up hairballs 2-4 times per week. We tried other suggestions from conventional vets but nothing was working. We studied Holistic Vet's website and decided to try them. We waited two weeks for an appointment and paid $195 in advance to see the vet. The pricing appears to represent a premium for expertise in holistic approaches. We were disappointed for the following reasons: (1) the vet did not read the records we arranged to have at the clinic prior to the appointment, and (2) the advice we received was conventional in every sense and repetitive of the discussions and advice we experienced with other vets. Only after multiple visits would we even get to try the special supplements the clinic advertises. There was also very little hands-on examination of the pet. read more

I am so glad to have found Dr. Gary and Dr. Lisa. They provide great service, mostly chiropractic, to our sport dogs. With a full schedule of flyball, dock diving and other crazy sports - we needed someone close by who understood our dogs and our goals. Both Drs. have sports knowledge that has helps us formulate care plans. Also, while I'm not looking forward to my 8yo girl needing more care, I'm confident that together we can help her compete as long as she wants. They even seem to enjoy our high energy exuberant dogs. Hank even took an unauthorized swim in the pool the first time before we realized that it was there. read more

The worst customer service experience that I've had related to my beloved pet. The two front staff people NEVER acknowledge us until we complain about being ignored and they're always running late. It costs too much to deal with the consistent issues. Not to mention the racist rant we endured from one of the clients pictured. They let their dog poop in front of the door and left it for another client to step in! read more

My cat of 6 years was diagnosed with IBD after a endoscopy and colonoscopy at a clinic. She was put on steroids and antibiotics. After 3 weeks the clinic wanted to start her on a chemo drug and I refused. I made an appointment with Holistic Veterinary Care and Dr. Richter spent an hour with me. No rushing and no waiting. Over the next month and a half he slowly decreased the antibiotics and steroid and prescribed a holistic treatment. My cat is off drugs now and doing well on the holistic treatment.
