I called Holland for an annual service for our home AC. They were able to get me scheduled for the following week. I was given a time slot of 1000-1200. Our tech, Logan, arrived at 0900 which was good for me and was at the house for about an hour. He was knowledgeable, respectful and put up with my questions. The cost was $125 which seemed reasonable and worth it to make sure my unit is good to go. It was nice to speak with owner Gary initially. He offered a great price on the A/C! However, issues arose immediately due to inexperienced installers. I replaced the A/C with a larger unit, but the original maintained a more stable temperature than this new one. The day after installation, I called him in the morning because my house was at 61 degrees. He told me to turn my heater up to 85 degrees on all levels and wait an hour, but instead of increasing, the temperature went down. He could send someone in a week or so. My installer was on vacation. He didn't seem to believe me until I showed him the temperature with my portable heater. He then sent someone over, who said he needed to set it up, as it looked like it wasn't programmed. The installers left dirty handprints on the walls both inside and outside. I don't usually complain, but when someone is rude and condescending, it's important to let others know who they are dealing with. Oh one last thing. He told me I needed to have a damper replaced and he'd send me a quote. 6 weeks later I still hadn't received quote so I asked again. He sent one. See for yourself how he treats his customers. Mind you- brand new handler and outside unit. Quote $2,100 to install a $59 part. I called several other A/C installers and they said anywhere from 100-150 to do the same thing. read more

It wasn't working properly then they came and said I need a damper control switch the part is a $50 parts 10 minutes to install it but they wanted $2,200 I do not recommend people like that. You know what the funny part is I have multiple condos and I'm getting ready to have two AC systems installed and they just lost out. Beware. read more

Scheduling somebody to come out and give us an estimate was quick and painless. The installers showed up at the promise date and time. The job was completed within a few hours - they remove the old unit and took it away. The reason for the three stars is because of the mess that was left behind. Also, the warranty only covers parts not labor. I had an issue with the outdoor compressor making noise and it was going to be a service fee to have someone come out and take a look at it. VERY DISAPPOINTED! I had Holland AC install two AC systems for me at two of our rental homes. The first installation went very well and we were very happy with the results. However, the second installation was a disaster! The company did not call when they were on their way (as requested) to the home so I could meet them there! The tenants were not home so they had to wait. When I showed up, one of the installers, Brad, was extremely rude, confrontational, unprofessional, and was literally getting in my face! I asked him if he was going to let me speak without him interrupting me and he said "No, I am going to continue to interrupt you!" I then called the office and spoke to Mary and Gary about this issue. Not sure what was done, but BRAD definitely needs some training on providing more professional customer service. We have two more homes we would like new HVAC systems installed, however, we will NOT be using Holland AC for future systems. read more

Holland AC & Heating Services offered same day service, but we set a next day service call. They told us pricing upfront for service call. We truly appreciated the great customer service and prompt attention. Steve came out to look at our ac unit and was very attentive and knowledgeable at mitigating the issue. He informed me what the issue was and what he would do to resolve the problem. He had found the drain line was backed up and made sure to clear it for proper drainage. Absolutely a life saver. My A/C quit working and my thermostat went blank. The company that I have a paid maintenance contract with said that it would be late the next day before someone could come out. With outside temps in the mid to high 90s that seemed like an eternity. I spoke to the young man at Holland and gave him the symptoms of the issue. He gave me the probable cause and suggest a simple possible fix. He said if that didn't work to call him back and he would get someone out to look at the system. His recommendation worked and my A/C was back up and running in less than an hour after I spoke to him. Glad to see that not everyone is out to take you to the cleaners and that Holland has integrity enough to do what is best for the customer and their fellow citizen.. If they offer a maintenance contract I will be switching to them. read more

Had them come out to replace the fan motor on my furnace, did the job quickly and accurately. Called them a few weeks later to take a look at my A/C which hasn't been working consistently for a couple days.
