BEWARE - they told me they had a one year guarantee. They DO NOT HONOR their word. A few months after painting my stucco house, bubbles started to appear on the wood trim and siding near my front door. I have called them 5 times and they refuse to even come to my house and look at the problem. Lance told me it is my problem, not his! He said my wood is defective!? And he told me that and he has never even come back to look at the problem. He just refuses to come back and even look at it. I paid them $8500 to paint the house and once the check cleared they were gone for good. Terrible. Beware. 3/2/26 - I just read Lance's response to my review. He says the pictures I posted were from before he painted. Not true. I just posted an additional picture showing today's date from time.gov and you can see the quality of work I have on my house today. The fact is that Lance has never come to my house to see the quality of work his people did on my house. So, he has assumed I posted old pictures. read more

Brain and his crew did a great job painting the outside and inside of our house. They were professional, courteous, and friendly. I am giving Hollister Paint one star due to the customer service by Lance. First of all, he called stating the crew would be at our house on a Wednesday. The crew never showed up. When my husband was able to get ahold of Lance, he stated, "I left you a message. The crew won't be there until Thursday." He did not leave a message. When the inside of our house was finished, I tried to contact Lance due to a few concerns. His voicemail was full. I drove to the store to talk to someone in person. I was told Lance would contact me; he didn't. My concerns: The paint was stripped off one wall in the laundry room from removing the masking tape; the (expensive) blind that covers the patio window was not rehung correctly; a large indentation was left on our new dryer either by a paint can or someone's foot/knee. A painter was sent to fix the wall in the laundry room, but nothing else was addressed. Unfortunately, my husband paid the invoice. My husband asked me, "What do you expect them to do?" My response was, "Provide decent customer service and compensate us for the items that were not taken care of." read more

Called Hollister Paint numerous times and left messages to call me back to schedule an estimate. Finally, after weeks Lance called me back and came to my home. Got an estimate and painted the outside of our home. This was 3 years ago, I called this year to get some touch up done, and asked what the color of the paint used was since they took the cans they used with them. But they did not put it in the computer under our name so the only way they can match it up is to come take a piece off my house! Don't bother, the lack of communication and the fact they don't keep good records I would not recommend them. read more

The paint crew led by Brian did an excellent job on our house painting project, they were very courteous and professional throughout the process, the pride and attention to perfection and detail was spectacular, our house had a lot of difficult angles and difficult access points, they completed it in a skillful proficient manner. Lance was very patient as we changed a paint color at the last minute...I should mention prior to the beginning of our paint project I let them know that I was seeking somebody to pressure wash our tile roof as it was full of green moss, they told me "no problem we can handle that task for you"...they completed it while it was pouring rain ! I can't believe it took us 4 years to find this little gem!! I had been going to a box retailer for my paint and they were great! What was lacking there was variety, and real customization which I didn't realize I needed. This store has everything you need to do any paint job big or small.
