Not only will they amaze you with their fair prices, but their customer service is exceptional. Most recently, my mom had all her old carpet replaced with vinyl plank flooring. My mom is 80 so this was a lot for her, but Adam and his crew at Holly Home made it painless for my mom! They came and worked SO hard, moved all the furniture, then when the floors were done, they moved everything back in place and hooked up everything (computers, phones, TV, etc) so my mom did not have to lift a finger. This was the best experience ever. I had previously gone to another carpet vendor whom I had used before and was quite happy with them. But for some odd reason they were not very accommodating this time. They came out and measured, but then never sent a quote and no followup. After a week of back and forth with them, I decided to look for another carpet vendor. Nic at Holly Homes was the most considerate and went far and beyond what he needed to do. Since I am buying a new home and on a hugely limited budget, Nic found every way he could to help me out and save me money and NEVER made me feel that I was going cheap. When there was a timing issue, he said "No problem" and pushed his guys to get it done before the movers arrived. They were very helpful with our small job. They gave us lots of options and worked up a quote that beat a competitor's quote. They could do the job in a couple days and quickly got us on the schedule. The installer arrived on time and launched into putting new sheet vinyl down on our bathroom floor. He spent quite awhile preparing the floor after ripping up the old carpet. Once the flooring was down, he expertly reinstalled the toilet and applied base mounding and caulking to complete the job. These guys just removed the old carpet and padding on my stairs and replaced it with brand new carpet and padding for about $415. The did a bang up job, and I really like the carpet. They way it works is that you go to their store and pick from the limited selection of left over carpet. Then a few days later two go to your house and work super hard for about two hours and you should probably get them a drink since they get really sweaty and maybe some paper towels too. We were looking for some inexpensive carpet for a house we were selling. The staff member (can't think of his name right now!) was very helpful, showed us some samples and then brought up some carpet that had been ordered then never used, it was very good quality and less expensive than the cheapest carpet in the store! Have been driving by Holly Home for over 18 years and when I mentioned to a friend that we were ready for new carpet, they said they had a great experience at Holly Home so I decided to stop by. Nic was able to beat the prices from Coles and even Costco's deal with Tri-City Carpet on the Shaw carpet we'd picked. Everyone I interacted with was easy to work with. The 3 man install crew (Juan, Jose and another) was friendly and professional. They were super careful moving furniture and replaced them exactly as they were before (I swear they must have taken pictures). Did a beautiful job wrapping our angled stairs, made time to let me touch up paint the edge of the drywall and even carefully removed, cut new and replaced the base board at the bottom of the stair risers. They cleaned up each day and even dusted our stair railings before they finished. I'd certainly recommend them and will use them again. read more
