I believe it's important to expose my son to typical experiences (like getting your hair cut at a salon), so when I came across Chelsea's video on Instagram, I jumped to it quickly. Her salon is clean & simple (not overwhelmed with colors and decor like a kid's salon would be) - which is perfect as my son is easily overwhelmed. She had a cart of sensory toys for my son to play with & allotted for extra time to get him comfortable with her before she started his haircut. She did everything to prevent any autism tantrums or meltdowns my son could have possibly. He did amazing! This was the best my son ever did with getting a haircut! I let them know I was about 20 minutes away from the salon and Jewol was waiting for me when I arrived. I initially thought I was going to be getting a fill, however, after cleaning my lashes Jewol realized that I would need a full set and not just a fill. They gave me a great price and after an in depth consultation, Jewol started my lashes. The process was great. I let Jewol know that my eyes are sensitive and she took care of everything to perfection. I didn't experience any irritation or redness. After the service I was able to pay the owner directly and even left a tip. The inside was very clean and smelled great. There were no distracting noises and Jewol made the process very relaxing.
