Ben is my favorite ! First time here was during covid and they have a great set up outside under the shade. I can only imagine how amazing the service will be once they're allowed to work inside. I will definitely drive from LA to IE just for Ben. So clean and so cautious! Update on this ! Dip lasted 4 days and they started chipping! Let Ben know and had an appointment at 9am on a Saturday, got there waiting 40 minutes to be helped ! I was helped at a random chair I had to hold a clip board as my table. My toes also chipped within the week and he just put a dot on the chipped part and told him to do the whole nail Bc you could see the difference! Such a different experience as my first. When I got them re done, guess what they only lasted 4 days this time ! So it's definitely something they're doing wrong or maybe doing them outside is affecting the quality ! I reached out to Ben earlier today and have yet to receive a response ! Dip is suppose to last 2-3 weeks and both time they only lasted 4 days. Been here a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. It's a little pricier than other places but other places are not as good. I would definitely recommend coming on a weekday in the morning if you can, as they get pretty busy here on weekends. On weekends you will likely have to wait even with an appointment. I probably am going to take a break from here for my nails until Tina gets back. She has been doing my nails for the past year and she is currently out. I spoke to the owners husband I'm assuming who always makes appointments and I told him how picky I am and I really needed my nails done and if he knew anyone that is similar work to Tina. He rushed me off the phone and said oh yea ok sure. I get there for my appt and they start my pedicure first, already I'm annoyed because when I make the appt I always tell them I need my hands & feet done at the same time but they never accommodate that request. But this time I waited almost 45 mins after my pedicure to get my nails done!! I get seated with Mimi and at first things were going well. I wanted gel x tips but she talked me into acrylics somehow and I told her I needed super short. At the end of it they were still not as short as I wanted, super thick and there is some separation/space between my natural nail and the acrylic which is very dangerous as this can lead to dirt/water/etc getting trapped inside and can cause infection! Im very upset as I had to have a baby sitter watch my baby to finally get my nails done after two months of not having time, and I have a funeral to go to this week. So now I have to take time and get these removed and pay someone else to redo them. Oh and when I tried to get my stamp card stamped, the one time I don't have cash I am not allowed to get a stamp? Seriously? So my money doesn't count if it's not cash. Really disappointed in the entire service. My feet are also still very dry after I paid extra for callus treatment. read more

Been going there for a few months to get fills, I have had two different people do my nails, one man and one woman, I'm not that picky and they both do a good job. Went yesterday after requesting an early appointment with the man. while my fill was getting done, the lady that also does my nails sometimes starts talking to the guy doing my nails in another language, both laughing and looking at me. Finally the guy says oh you ask me to do your nails but also ask for her. I said well I don't really care which one does it. I went in yesterday for a full set, gel pedicure and a few waxing services. The staff were friendly so my review is based solely on the quality of work. I mentioned to the tech that these would be my wedding set as I'm getting married tomorrow, so I would assume her attention to detail would be high. First of all, there was no cuticle prep done beforehand. Secondly, the French tip does not have sharp lines in addition to white paint being found on the side of my ring finger, you know- the finger that will more than likely be photographed on my wedding day. I didn't catch the nails until after the fact and did not have time to go back to get them fixed. Regarding the waxes: I got my eyebrows, lip, and underarms serviced. I have a line of hair under my eyebrow that didn't get waxed, a line of hairs on my lip that didn't get waxed, and my underarm is burned from the tech going over the same spot multiple times because the hair wouldn't come out. Not to mention the price. For the amount I paid: $153 (not including tip), I would have expected a good job. It's upsetting and so hard to find a good quality nail salon. read more

I've been to this salon about three times and this last time I went I found a nail tech I really like. I always get a little anxious when I see the little drill come out because I've been burned several times before at different salons, but Tina was super gentle and took her time to give me a quality experience. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she referenced it a few times during our session to make sure I was satisfied with the look. I come here often for a pedicure. I needed a manicure and the owner at the front desk insisted I get gel because it would last longer, 2 weeks. I agreed on the gel and after only a week some were chipped and the others were starting to crack. My cuticles also look and feel awful. I've never had this happen after a manicure. I stopped by today to get them fixed and the owner said they would only fix the broken ones, even though the others were starting to peel up and crack. The nail tech accused me of being hard on my hands and I told her I do computer work all day. After spending the extra on a gel manicure last week, I was so disappointed to be treated the way I was today. The owner at the front likes to bully clients into spending more money, but the quality isn't great since it didn't even last a whole week. In a past visit the owner accused me of writing bad reviews once and I have never written a review. He insisted I delete it and after he showed me the review, I told him again it wasn't me. I called the morning of and they were able to get me in at 9:30 which I was so thankful for! I was getting a dip nail manicure and pedicure. Both were done by David and he did a great job! He made a point make sure every nail was even and that was really special because I am having photos this weekend. UPDATE: the owner contacted me and asked if I could come back so he can fix my nails. He fixed the thickness and was very nice about it. They do have lots of colors and the salon is very clean. I suggest asking for Ben if you come in to try this salon. I came in to get a gel manicure and take my acrylics off. I am extremely disappointed. They cut my nails really short when taking my acrylics off so they suggested dip. The dip came out very thick and the top coat is uneven. Plus it cost $45. Way more than I've ever spent on my nails. One of the ladies told me "Lesson learned, now you know to tell us what you want before we start" Safe to say I will not be coming back. read more

I still love the ladies who did my nails. I stand by Tina being the best one in that place and never had an issue with my fingers that I regularly got done. Unfortunately, I got a fungus on both big toe nails and both fell off about halfway. I did notice other people there with severe fungus on their toes that were still getting pedicures, but always assumed the tools would be new or sanitized because they came out of a sealed pouch.
