I went here for a gel pedicure and then my 3 yr old daughter had a simple color. They were super sweet and friendly and the facility was overall clean and organized. However, the massage chair I sat in barely worked and made a continuous squeaking sound. That didn't bother me nearly as much as the lack of precision on my gel pedicure that I paid $45 dollars for. For the quality and price I won't go back.

I just moved to town and was so excited to find my new favorite nail salon. I've been getting my nails done loyally every few weeks in my old hometown and the reviews looked excellent here. But won't be going back. First issue was partially my fault. I like dips over gels. Much gentler on my nails and better look. When I walked in they said "no dip" so instead of finding another place, I decided to go back to gels (because reviews for this salon were so great). Probably shouldn't have. Second, when I walked in, I was ready to drop lots of $$ by adding a gel pedi too. My first day with a babysitter in months and I was ready to indulge. But the vibe seemed off. Only one customer in the place, with one free nail specialist. She didn't seem thrilled and quickly sat me down. No welcoming upsell to add a pedi so I didn't bring it up as she seemed inconvenienced (2 hours before closing). She seemed to struggle a bit taking off my dips to prep for gels but I figured they were experts and all was well. When my nails were done they looked a bit "lumpy bumpy" so I guess she didn't completely remove my dip base. Also edges weren't smooth, nails scratchy, and some edges of color went over my cuticles. Not perfect but I would deal with it. However, within one day, it was chipping. Majorly. She had buffed my natural nails so much for dip removal, they were thin so when gel chipped, my nails peeled away and broke. Now a week later, almost all fingers are chipped as in photos. Looks awful. Normally I would have called for repair or refund and given them a 2nd chance - but I left on vacation right after my visit so wouldn't be back in the area for another 2 weeks. Guess I'll find another favorite local spot. $48 for something that looks like my uncoordinated self did with a cheap bottle of polish.

Another great experience at Holly's nails. Ive been coming back to Holly's nails every 3 weeks on the dot since I discovered them a few months ago. I have worked with Holly, another woman and a man. I don't have a preference because they are all awesome! I guess they all kind of have their specialties too. The quality is top notch. Ive never needed any repairs and they have been able to preserve my natural nail, I haven't needed tips in 6 months (and that was my first time getting nails in a few years) They are very gentle and skilled with the drill and the salon itself is very clean. For a fill and color change, I'm usually in and out in under an hour. They really listen to what you want and put a lot of attention to detail into the entire process, from the manicure to the shape, to the art. On top of the nails being top notch, the environment is so relaxing. They play beautiful classical music and it's very mellow. I straight up almost fell asleep in my chair. They offer water, they are friendly and engaging, they are skilled manicurists and artists, they are totally normally priced too! Around $40/set (ishhh) the foot and leg massage is great for a nail salon too (I'm a massage therapist and biased so that's saying something). I recommend Holly's nails 100%. Especially for those of you who are regulars like me.

Went in today with my 10 year old daughter. We wanted to get our toes done for our trip to Hawaii. Wow!!! What a great little place this is!! The ladies inside were extremely nice. Chi worked on my toes but I'm not sure what the name of the lady who worked on my daughter - however, she was incredibly patient with her. They were very kind and made us very comfortable. The massage.......one of the best I've ever had. I almost fell asleep, usually I'm extremely ticklish and have a difficult time when my feet get touched. Chi applied the perfect pressure and I didnt feel the need to squirm out of my chair. The atmosphere is relaxing and the shop is clean. They did cute little designs on both of our toes too! Black color is where my finger bled... also under the nail polish

I decided to give Holly Nails a try since it's got great reviews. I didn't have a reservation so I called and asked to see if I can get a walk-in basic manicure, I just want a cuticles clean up basically. I ended up bleeding, the staff poured Nick Relief Powder on both of my ring fingers... then it stung when she was adding the nail polish on... as you can see from the photo. Black color is my blood, it is also under the nail polish... on 3 of my nails it has a tiny bubble on the surface. I appreciated the walk-in and the owner was friendly but not the pain and bleeding from the staff who did my manicure... : ( I really had high expectations of this place due to the reviews.

Called here last minute for an appointment for me and my daughter, the lady on the phone so adorably sweet and kind. When we got there the ladies working there were so sweet and attentive, even the vibe/atmosphere of the salon was just so nice ! It was so relaxing, very clean, happy and cheerful. I went here to get fill and have never been less satisfied with my nail job. My square nails were all crooked and I was nicked about 10 times. I have never been nicked so many times in one visit. It technician sanded my acrylics down to almost nothing which really hurt. It took a long time and I was uncomfortable for most of the visit. read more

I've been trying nail salons in Auburn for a couple months now and haven't been able to find a good one. I had an amazing pedicure here, but the gel manicure was horrible. I ended up removing the gel polish myself within a week because it started to peel. They put the polish all the way up onto my cuticle so I had a lip of polish as soon as my nails started growing out. Just a pet peeve because the polish doesn't last as long that way. read more

So I went here last minute because the reviews were good and it was down the street from my job. I can't even begin to write everything wrong that happened the whole experience irritated me. The nails were probably the worst set I've ever had but I feel bad for not liking them because the lady was super nice. I went to another salon to have them fixed, because it didn't matter what I said to this lady they kept getting worse, and the lady laughed and said they were bad. 2 stars cuz the lady was nice read more

I am new to town and walked in to Holly Nails due to the good reviews here. I was a little skeptical because from the outside its hard to tell how nice it is inside. Its nothing super fancy but its clean and the staff is wonderful. Holly offered me something to drink and both of my technicians did a very nice job. I'd say that they went the extra mile. This is a fairly small nail salon and they run a nice clean ship. When you come in you get a cold bottle of water (summer) and a warm greeting. My feet got a thorough and badly needed scrubbing with lots of extra skin trimmed off - then a very nice leg massage. The gel pedicure I got was fine (no slopping the gel on my cuticles) and I paid $40. Since it is a small establishment I would recommend making a reservation for Friday afternoon, pre-holiday, or the weekend. They do take credit cards but understandably ask that you leave your tip in cash. read more

My sister and I recently (Aug 6, 2015) went for a Mani-pedi and a full set of white tips. We were so happy to have the girls doing our nails waiting & ready. Definitely a place I will go to again for my pedicure. There is only one option for the pedicures (the reason I didn't give it 5 starts), but that is okay. Really the only reason for the other options for me is to make it more relaxing but holly gave my one of the best messages that I've had in a long time. She actually focused on the spots that most of the time whenever I get a pedicure they don't pay attention too. read more

I am so in LOVE with Holly nails. I have been getting my nails done for a long time now and Holly is amazing. She is friendly and extremely talented. You can walk in with a picture of what you want and can expect they will be more than amazing. She is up to date on all the new trends which I love and has more product than most nail salons I've ever seen. Her prices are reasonable and the place is clean. Very relaxing environment. I thought that Holly was just so nice, but my acrylic nails hardly lasted a week. From the moment I got them done they were chipped. Also I had to go back and get my designed fixed because it looked just awful. They are all such pleasant people but their quality of the work was awful. read more

My pedicure was okay but I requested a certain color and they assured me that it would be the color I chose and since I use shellac on my toes it would have been a lot longer to take it off and redo, so I went home very unsatisfied. read more

My daughter and I both had poor gel manicures and pedicures. Both were sloppy, bumpy and uneven. Calluses were just as bad when I left as when I came in. Had to come home and fix both manicure and pedicure myself. We will not have our nails done here again and would not recommend this nail salon. read more

So disappointed. I walked in. Every single pedicure station, and every single manicure station was filled. They told me to wait just a minute. After about five minutes, I decided that the whole ambience felt crowded and uncomfortable, so I left. But as I was walking to my car, Hellen ran after me. " Come back! We have room for you. We are ready. You come back!" So I decided to come back, since I only had one hour and didn't want to go find another place. She sat me at the last station in the room, which felt a bit more secluded, so that was good. But she soaked my feet in water for at least 20 minutes and left me there, acting like someone would be right with me. It felt deceiving. Finally, someone else came. Once again, I told the new person that I have one hour. She was pleasant, but the entire time she was looking around the room, completely distracted. What was she doing? Was she waiting for her next client? I couldn't figure it out. She seemed so bored. I don't blame her, but still. Overall, the pedicure was not good. Even though I asked for my calluses to be worked on, she didn't do that. She lightly brushed something over them one time, but that was it -- even after I reminded her that I needed that done, too. Just one light brush over the top. And then suddenly it was over and she gave me these lame little slip ons and told me I was done. "How long does this take to dry?" I asked her. "One hour", she told me. One hour? None of this made sense. She sent me out the door with these lame floppy slip on shoes and tissue between my toes. I'm supposed to be somewhere right now, but I have to sit in my car, unsure how long the drying takes. Two toes are already smudged. Is this normal, pushing a client out the door before anything is dry? Not going back to Red Nails.

Lost both toe nail from a long hike in February. Waited the whole summer for my nails to regrow. Finally got to indulge in a nice pedicure. All my nails were a bit long but i told the lady not to trim too much. She clipped them so short, they now hurt! And she clipped the sides! The nail polish is not even snd some of the other nails are cut crooked! I am so disappointed. 8 months and a botched job! I will definitely never go back. read more
